There are many ways to hear from God. Jonathan speaks of two ways to get the conversation going with the Lord.

There are times when we may be unsure if we are hearing from the Lord. Jonathan helps break down the ways we can hear from God to get a clear picture of how to move forward.

We tend to quit something or someone if it gets too difficult, on the contrary, God never gives up on us. He's always pursuing us and pressing us to go deeper in our life with him.

Sometimes we may not always feel like a Christian, because we make mistakes, but is there anything we can do to separate ourselves from the love of God?

Sin may seem like a complicated term, but it simply means self-seeking desires of the flesh. What's the antidote? How can we be cured of sin?

We may get jealous of what others have or do, especially if it seems like everyone has it all on social media. We may question if we are smart enough, pretty enough, rich enough, or strong enough. But, Jonathan reminds us that WE ARE ENOUGH.

Can I trust and believe God in all areas of my life? Jonathan breaks it down for us why God is the most trustworthy of all to turn to, in regard to equipping us for our relationships, vocation, and finances.

When someone asks us to pray out loud, it may be intimidating and we may not know even how to begin. But, simply put, prayer is communication with God. We can be an advocate for others, going to the Father on their behalf.

We may ask ourselves, is God trustworthy? Jonathan encourages us that God can work with even just a little bit of faith.

Who is in charge of defining what is good? Is it you; is it me? Does what is good change over time?

Do we determine what is good and what is evil? Does culture? Does something above us help us distinguish right from wrong?

Are you struggling to have hope right now? Jonathan answers how we can be content and find hope in Jesus, no matter the season life is giving us right now.

Jonathan reads a two-part question from one of his students: was God made and was He ever a kid? He pulls from passages in the Bible that speak of the attributes of God to answer the question.

We often think serving God has to look a certain way, but the truth is serving God is simply showing God's heart to people, which can take many forms.

This time Jonathan looks at a question from one of his students centered around the thought, "Is Jesus who He says He is?"

In this episode, Jonathan shines the light on how we can have a healthy lifestyle, starting with following Jesus as the foundation in which we build our lives upon.

It's the age old question: why do bad things happen to good people? This is a big one, because how we answer this question can either turn people away from God or toward Him.

When people hurt us, we tend to pull back and get bitter, but what did Jesus say about how to behave when someone sins against us? We are called to love anyway, displaying the Lord's mercy. His capacity for forgiveness never ends, so we can extend that same mercy to others.

We've all asked God for something and then we didn't get it. But, what is the purpose of prayer? Is it to get what we want? Jonathan gives us a lesson on how to pray and it always works.

We might think, I don't need the church to love Jesus. Perhaps we've been hurt by someone in the church. But, consider the richness of being with loving members of the family of God: to encourage you, sharpen you and bring you so much joy.

We might say, show me God. Does He really exist? I can't see Him. In this episode, Jonathan points to creation as the evidence of an "unseen" God.

In this first episode of Planted, Jonathan explores his ideas around the mind of God. Can we fully understand it? Even if we can't, at all times we are called to have peace and joy, knowing God always works for our good.
