The term "gaslighting" derives from the 1944 film "Gaslight." In the film the antagonist is regularly dimming the gaslights in his home, and when his wife asks why the lights are dim, he tells her that they are not dim. He is telling this lie, along with many others, in an attempt to convince his wife that she is crazy. That is what the democrats are doing in America - they are dimming the lights, all the while telling us that the lights are not dim. Stand-up for your rights! Parent your kids and teach them. Defend yourself and your family. Have faith and take your family to church. Save America!

When you have a mean hive, otherwise known as a "hot" hive, you need to change the genetics. You achieve that by replacing the queen. Other reasons to requeen a hive is if you have a queen who is not laying a lot of eggs. Or maybe your queen is getting old. Split pea and ham soup is a family favorite of ours every winter. We always get a spiral-cut ham for Christmas and Easter. After the holiday, we save the ham bone, along with some cubed ham. When things slow down, I make a batch of this seasonal favorite! It keeps you warm and happy when it is cold and blustery outside! Prep time of 15 minutes. Slow cooker for 6 hours. Put it on at noon and it is ready for dinner at 6PM! Ingredients: 1 ham bone 1 pound ham (cubed) 2 - 1 pound bags of split peas (rinsed) 1 yellow onion (chopped) 6-10 red or gold potatoes (cubed) 20-30 baby carrots (Chopped) 1 tablespoon minced garlic 1 tablespoon salt 1 tablespoon ground black pepper 8 cubes - chicken or beef bullion 8-10 cups of water

This classic Christmas cookie is basic, simple, and delicious! It is from my Grandmother, and has been handed down through the generations. We wish you and your family a Merry Christmas! Jack's Best Sugar Cookie Cutouts 1 - 1/2 cups butter (3 sticks), softened 4 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 2 cups granulated sugar 5 cups all-purpose flour 2 teaspoons baking powder 1 teaspoon salt In a mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in eggs and vanilla. In a separate bowl combine flour, baking powder and salt. Combine the contents of the two bowls until well mixed. Cover and chill dough for at least one hour or overnight. Preheat oven to 400°. Roll out dough on floured surface 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch thick. Cut into shapes of any cookie-cutter. Place cookies 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 6 to 8 minutes in preheated oven or until edges start to brown slightly. Immediately remove from cookie sheets onto cooling racks. When cookies are completely cool, ice them and decorate. Icing: 2 cups powdered sugar 1 tablespoon milk ½ teaspoon vanilla extract Food coloring of choice Mix all together Add additional powdered sugar or milk to get desired consistency.

My 2016 Toyota Sienna Minivan was making some odd vibrations that were getting worse over time. They were especially bad when I would accelerate quickly, or when the engine would idle down quickly. I assumed that the transmission was going bad. When I popped the hood to check the transmission fluid, I noticed that the rubber on the torque strut mount had deteriorated badly. I ordered a new one for $38.00 and paid $10 for FedEX. It got here 2 days later and it took me 30 minutes to install. This repair eliminated the vibrations and my van is running like a top!
