Skanderbeg - The Dragon of Albania (Part 5)
In the final episode of Skanderbeg, we cover how Skanderbeg and his army engaged in a series of strategic maneuvers during his Italian campaign, used his guerilla warfare tactics against Sultan Mehmed II during the second siege of Kruja, and used his diplomatic negotiations skills to persuade Pope Pius II and Pope Paul II to aid him in preserving Albania's independence.
Skanderbeg's last years were a testament to his unwavering commitment to freedom and his people. His legacy as a national hero and a symbol of resistance against oppression remains an integral part of Albania's history to this day.

In this episode of Skanderbeg, we cover when the League of Lezhë was reunited under the umbrella of King Alfonso V of Naples in 1454. However, a year later, the League would yet again crumble after the Arbër League suffered a crushing defeat at the Battle of Berat in 1455. The history of the Albanian double-headed eagle
In ancient cultures around the world, the eagle has often been regarded as the representative of the gods. Throughout human history, the eagle symbols have played a significant role not only in spirituality but also as symbols of social and political positions.
Unlike the symbol of the single-headed eagle, the double-headed eagle (which we will cover more generally in this video), has a more powerful meaning and is often referred to various empires.
In regards to the highly debated questions behind the history of the Albanian state symbol, we aim to clarify a few misconceptions by mapping out when it first appeared in Albanian heraldry and who they inherit it from.
