Lake Palestine is fishing really tough. It also seems to be fishing small also. A large majority of the field is fishing in the same area. The other part of this event that I am having trouble with is keeping fish hooked up. We are fishing in such shallow water that the fish have nowhere to go when they are hooked and swim right at you and you cant keep up with them. I am sitting pretty good going into day 2 on Lake Palestine. I feel pretty good about my chances to make the knockout round but I have to get a good start.
