Anthony's Beer and Wine in Ocean City Maryland is a location described in the award winning 2022 political thriller novel Distorted Perception. 3 chapters of the 70,000+ word novel takes place at the Delmarva beaches on the Eastern Shore USA. Now called Anthony's liquor is a historical booze depot and deli located at 3300 Coastal Hwy, Ocean City, Maryland. They have offered the best subs at the beach 1987.
The original store was built shortly after World War II. The Southwestern part of the property was a drive-up store with a garage door and walk-up counter that sold beer, ice, sodas, and snacks. The Southeastern part of the property was a walk-up carry-out that sold fried chicken.
The present ownership bought the property in 1965.
