Watch Us Fly A Drone

Great weather. Great weekend. Great flight after a long break following surgery.

It has been some time since I had time to fly the drone. Finally had a few free minutes so took it on out. Had to face stiff winds. The drone got stuck briefly in a tree before falling to freedom. Luckily, drone still works fine and GOT IT BACK!!

Taking a very brief flight outside a local Burger King. Taking advantage of clear skies.

Still not the best flying weather but really wanted some arial views of the recent light snow we got.

Another look at the Westmoreland Disc Golf Course. But did have to deal with the wind so not the best video but good practice after a weeks layoff due to weather.

Checked out the Westmoreland Disc Golf Course. Was dusk so light was low. Will come back again when earlier to catch daylight.

Practing maintaining altitude, and control at high altitude. The battery lasted long enough to make a complete walk around a large, local church.

Did a practice flight in downtown. Got good elevation and first time over a roof and out of sight briefly.

Just a practice run over my apartment complex. Got and kept good elevation. Not much wind, thankfully.

Go from seeing very little to seeing many lights to little again. Good length flight and great practice.

Taking a decent timed practice flight around Amazon Creek in West Eugene.

Got good amount of flight time and decent elevation this time. Wind was very mild.

Just getting acquainted with drone and practicing.

Had to fight a moderate wind but managed to get a second look at Ems proposed stadium site at the Fairgrounds.

Using the same model 4drc v9 drone. This is the first flight with this unit and it performed very well despite a pretty strong wind.

Just had to make a video after almost losing the drone. Got some decent practice on this one.

Came very close to losing the drone on this flight. Actually lost visual on the drone but reacquired and retreived.

Trying yet again, to see how close I could get the drone to the geese. Almost made it this time. Did get good elevation and shot of local church.

Seeing if I could sneak up on some geese.

Just carefully trying more daring things as I even crossed the street during traffic and took close to a homeless incampment.

Had to keep it moving because any time I tried to keep it still the wind just grabbed the drone.

Just a quick, for fun, flight. Managed to get out of tree.
