Late in games, the defense is sticking to a personnel rotation when their best players should be on the field making plays. These are all correctable mistakes that come with time and experience. The Chicago Bears were very busy in 2023 Free Agency. They signed RB D'Onta Foreman from the Carolina Panthers. Foreman had almost 1,000 yards on the season and 5 TDs. The Panthers had Christian Mcaffrey for the first 5 weeks of the season, so Foreman put up nearly 1,000 yards AFTER they traded Mcaffrey. The guy is a big strong running back with fresh legs. He showed exactly what he can do when he got the start in week 7 against the raiders and put up a 3 TD performance in the week 7 Victory, and in week 9 against the saints he was one of the main reasons the Bears offense was able to keep the chains moving. This back proves to be a big part of the offense week to week, whenever he gets 20 or more touches he averages 4 yards a carry, the Bears may want to think about keeping Foreman around for longer than just the 2023 Season.

Johnson would also drop another potential interception. Both plays were extremely detrimental to the game's outcome. Offensively, Bears rookie Tyler Scott also had two costly blunders. The first was his fumble that led to Detroit's first score. Last year, the defense was pathetic against the pass and the run. This year, Chicago's defense is first overall in allowing the fewest yards per carry. This year's 3.4 ypc is a significant improvement. Chicago ranked near the bottom of the league last season with a yards per carry of 4.9. Chicago's rushing game is averaging a league-best 5.4 yards per carry. Adding to that impressive mark, the Bears' offense is in the top 5 in third-down conversions and red zone efficiency. With Justin Fields coming back this week, Bears fans are concerned against the matchup with the Detroit Lions. They have a right to be, the Lions are a very good team in 2023, and Fields will need to show up and be 100% ready for the task ahead of him.

Sorry Everyone only game missing is the Chargers... but were not missing much. When things go very wrong, everyone is at fault. Who is ultimately to blame? What change would make the most impact? Or do you swallow this and hope consistency and continuity ultimately work out in the long run? It was very clear, The bears defense could not stop the Chargers, and the Bears offense was not ready to keep up with what the Chargers were able to do. The O line shot killed early drives for the bears with penalties, and the Bears coaching staff asked their UDFA QB in his second start to throw the ball 37 times. Meanwhile the Charges capitalized on mistakes and just took advantage of the Bears Defense.
