Birds and the Bees

Extracting 20 medium honey frames with Lysons radial extractor. Five gallon bottling bucket with a 400 micro strainer to catch the fine wax, propolis or wood bits. From here it is headed to the bottle

Beeks call it washboarding. Officially no one truly knows why bees do this dance, but I can tell you that I have never seen them do this unless all variables are in the bees favor.

In the winter bees do not poop in their hive so they hold it until it is nice enough for a cleaning flight. Early spring first warm day they let it fly, Literally!
