Demonstration of how typically taking spots in FP swap threads can be a bad investment. Compared to 1.9 leveling taking spots in FP swap threads is a gamble where most of the time investors pay well over 1.9 FPs on spots which is a loss of FPs. This video explains what they grey swords mean and shows a scenario in which your guild can defend against that attack if it occurs on land adjacent to land your guild owns. You do not always want to defend grey swords. If the attacking guild is considered friendly or neutral you do not want to interfere but if an enemy guild setting the siege then you may wish to defend and even possibly steal the sector. Any guild member can defend without GvG permissions so make sure you know if your GvG leaders want you to be defending before doing so, make sure you know which guilds are friendly/neutral and which are not.

In this video you will see how to defend a siege (red swords) set by an enemy. The process is the same as attacking a siege set by your guild (green swords) shown in another video I posted. There can be times where you have a friendly guild take one of your guilds sectors to help build a block from other guilds coming in. In that case you want to look to see who is attacking because you don't always want to defend a siege, especially if it is a friendly guild helping. Anyone in guild can defend a siege. No special GvG rights/permissions need to be given to be able to defend.

When your guild does not have any land on a map you can take advantage of multi-beaching so that you can acquire any landing zones (sandy beach areas) that do not have a bouncer/bubble on it. This allows you to take much more land than you otherwise normally could.

Green bouncing shields means that sector your guild owns is protected till calcs reset. Red bouncing shields means that sector another guild owns is protected till calcs reset.

The various colors of sectors on the map tell you who owns the land. Green sectors are owned by your guild, red sectors are held by other guilds, and white sectors are NPCs not held by any guild.
