Black Conservatives- Standing in the light!
Black Conservatives- Standing in the light!
This video is a tribute to Black Conservatives starting around the 1700s to this present day. For every Liberal/Democrat there is a Black Conservative/Republican. News networks do not show case black conservatives for and social political reasons. Instead we are portrayed as liberal, needy, non intellectuals, always at odds with law enforcement and somewhat out of control. I recall an interview in which young White liberal (collage age) one after another thought the average Black American did not carry a valid ID on their person. The truth is Black culture is conservative but we have had a history with and a loyalty to liberalism. As my wife puts it "we don’t vote our faith.” This video is the result of a very nice vacation and conversation between my wife and I when we heard this song on the drive. It reflects the way Black conservatives feel as “we come out of the closet” with our true perspectives to other Blacks.

Veterans Day- Why do veterans get emotional about the flag in my own words
Veterans Day- Why do veterans get emotional about the flag in my own words
I talk about my personal feelings as a US Navy veteran In this video. In particular why do vets get so upset when the Flag or National anthem is disrespected. Not all, but the vast majority of veterans are offended with this type of protest, even if they try to hide it. Black, White, Hispanic, Asian, Man or Woman, we are all the same! This is in honor of those serving and who have served. God bless.
For 98 years, Americans have remembered those who served our country in uniform on 11 November – first as Armistice Day, and then, since 1954 as Veterans Day. In this 99th year of commemoration, the Department of Veterans Affairs is broadening that tradition of observance and appreciation to include both Veterans and Military Families for the entire month of November.

BLACKS, HISPANICS, ASIANS, TALK TRUMP IN 2016
BLACKS, HISPANICS, ASIANS, TALK TRUMP IN 2016
This is a look back to the during the middle of the 2016 election. I During the second year of the his presidency the NFL went to kneeling. This is a look from that time.
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump)
In fact, as others have noted, kneeling for the anthem is a sign of respect, not disrespect, for our country and the values it stands for.

How to understand the history of UNCLE TOM and the rise of black on black racism
How to understand the history of UNCLE TOM and the rise of black on black racism
Everywhere we turn, this term is used to describe certain people of color, I wanted to share my thoughts on the subject. In Part 1: How to understand the history of "UNCLE TOM" and the rise of black on black racism. This two part series is the result of a conversation between myself and another young man (black) in the summer of 2013. I have been studying just that one term since then, "UNCLE TOM" how it was used in the 1800s and how we use it today. Today nobody wants to be called an Uncle Tom, but 150 years ago, it was a compliment. In Harriet Beecher Stowe's abolitionist 1852 novel, Uncle Tom's Cabin, Uncle Tom is a martyr, not a sell-out. His devotion to his fellow slaves is so unshakable that he sacrifices a chance for freedom and, ultimately, his life to help them. How did a term of high praise become the ultimate black-on-black insult? Until recently, scholars believed that "Uncle Tom" was first used as an epithet in 1919 by Rev. George Alexander McGuire, a supporter of the radical black nationalist Marcus Garvey. One of my references: http://www.theroot.com/views/w...le-t...
