Motivational Monday Life Coaching - How to Deal with Rejection (Part 1) Today, Gabriel explains how to handle Rejection and see it, not as a curse but as a blessing! Rejection can be seen as a gift from which greater things can come. This is the first of a two part topic. Rejection is not good or bad, and isn’t always personal. It should not be seen as an emotional trigger or dealt with from a place of emotional feelings at all. Rejection is the flip-side of acceptance and can be seen as a positive force in our lives. Today’s episode considers “Expectation” being the primary cause of rejection but also what blessings can be found and how to capitalise from it. Learning, improving and communication are the three primary tools to be applied to embrace rejection positively. A Christian walk should accept rejection in much the same way we accept rain when on a vacation. "If it ain't broke, then don't try to fix it," Is how the saying goes, but what if it is broken...? Today, Gabriel takes us through a case study of a wood store that is broken and would possibly be condemned /scrapped by others, but he demonstrates how the lessons he has covered in previous episodes can be used to identify the needs of what needs to be repaired. He also illustrates that the process takes elements such as planning, evaluating, patients, new materials’, new skills and dedication to see the finished outcome (vision of the finished works). Not every situation or relationship is damaged beyond repair, nor should the imperfect be thrown out before seeing what is good, salvageable and can be improved on to make a final and unique solution resilient for the future. It’s time for an honest conversation. The Art of Conversation is being lost for two main reasons. Firstly, since global lock-down people have lost the ability to “hear” the opinion of others that differ from their own. Instead of returning to that place of free speech and differing opinion, they choose to hear only the views they support. Secondly, there is a world-staged effort to shut down personal opinion and sensor dissenting views and beliefs to those being promoted through the technological media infrastructure. Policed by legal mechanisms and a politically motivated, socially policed “cancel culture”. These are the works of the enemy, through the influence of Man’s carnal weaknesses (blatantly promoted through the WEF and its sister “entities” (WHO, CERN, UN etc...). The antidote to this and to restore freedom and truth (God’s blessing), is just simple one-to-one conversation with your neighbour, a stranger and above all, directly to God! One-to-one people contact and communication, it the door opener to releasing the power of change but also the supernatural power of the Spirit of God into your environment. A simple conversation can release fear, and restore faith in yourself and others. Do not let the enemy divide us with lies and falsehoods!
