Just another story of stupidity.. Like I mention in the video, despite the effects having worn off on my end, it didn't make this any less stupid, (see pinned comment more on THAT or read further).. This one happened in "the college years" (allegedly) when a little car decided to take on my pickup. This WILL be pinned below, because I tried stressing it more in the video and it just came across weird or pandering in some condescending way, so I'm adding it here and in a pinned comment. I can't stress enough how STUPID this whole thing was, ALONG WITH my moronic decision to let these idiots (who were clearly not capable of driving) back on the road to potentially cause another accident.. Don't have any excuses for it except being young, dumb, irresponsible, and avoiding jail.. allegedly... As usual, graphics and BG music are from me.. some images I'll purposely use are generated for humor, but those (I'd hope are obvious) or its a graphic I point out I've made/faked whatever.. Music is just some walking basslines from a producer music loops pack from Loopmasters I bought and threw together in Acid Pro.. Again.. please drive under the influence, as stated at the end.. RIP.. Actually 3 quick stories.. the first time I actually saw just blatant generalizing by actual police officers (people please, its entirely possible they just didn't get a good look at him.. but at the same time, how are you just going to ask THAT..??) The 2nd story is when I got profiled as white trash (I mean I am.. so LOL..) but I still didn't appreciate it. And then finally the 3rd (alleged) story about small town life and how some poor workers of a certain trade were having to do some things for really low tier hamburgers.. As usual, images and BG music are by me, occasionally I'll get something generated for extra humor, but those are either obvious or I try to point them out. This will be pinned just because I don't like some of the things commonly found in videos talking about this.. I don't have any issue with police, as long as they're properly trained and doing their job as they're supposed to. I don't want anyone to watch this and think its any kind of political statement or anti-cop type of thing..

Just a shorter story this time about the first time I tried Uber, ironically while out in Los Angeles.. Like I said MULTIPLE times, I can't imagine this guy was the actual driver. I don't know if it was a relative, or how that would even work, but.. whoever picked me and these two girls up that night had no idea what they were doing, on top of seemingly being out of their mind and REALLY "amped up"..lol. As usual, designs etc I usually throw together myself, though occasionally I use something generated for additional laughs (though I try to make those more obvious). And BG music is just some walking basslines I through together in Acid Pro using some loops I purchased from LoopMasters.

Not trying to take any credit for the organizing, editing, and everything else that went into making the Jubilee videos, and highly appreciate them, so if they send any kind of notice, message, takedown or anything like that, I have zero issues being fully compliant. Its their material. In the beginning of the video, and even the entire recording, I did react to the girls AND the guys, but trying to laugh at or critique the girls other than that opening shocker was a bit more than I wanted to deal with, just didn't really feel "right" I guess..? So I just cut the edit off there.. lol.

Just a short story about the time I was young, stupid (now I'm just old and stupid) and given a waterballoon launcher when I was even more irresponsible and stupid, so it got used for everything but waterballoons. BG track is just a walking bassline I put together in Acid Pro with some loops for music producers etc.. because I couldn't find just a basic bassline and too cheap to pay for music services LOL.

Still just keeping up with doing a daily news recap to maintain a bit more of a personal work schedule among other things.. -Actually would have had this posted ALMOST on time but the internet out here in the desert is absolute garbage.. still enjoyed the speedrunning of it- Just going over some of the news I made notes on and wanted to either deep dive into a bit more on camera Sunday night, OR just wanted to talk about it because I'm old.. and some of this stuff actually does bring back old memories of US vs Micosoft.. LOL. Was kind of a trial/quick edit.. I recorded everything kind of off the cuff Sunday, spent a couple hours editing it down yesterday and obviously uploading today. In the future if I actually want to make the "Sunday" deadline, I'll probably have to record it on Thursday or Friday.. lol. But, don't know until you try, so.. But we got everything from Apple getting chased by the US so we don't seem like we're completely ignorant to the EU, Nvidia already planning the next GPU shortage, The Battlefront Collection reminding us all that being a Star Wars fan is about one step shy of stockholm syndrome (joke... please, no offense to ACTUAL victims of that).. And Elon making promises that.. I really hope he can actually keep.. As usual the background music is by me, just some walking bassline riffs I threw together in Acid Pro..

Yeah I tried think the title and all are a bit harsh considering I do enjoy Phasmo.. but.. couldn't really think of an intro or title for this nonsense? It's just a parody.. some satirical jabs at the usual paranormal investigation show "editing styles" and other things you see/hear if you watch too much Travel channel.. LOL. I do enjoy those shows though, so I just don't want anyone to think to take any of it offensively or as being mean etc.. and I tried to make myself the biggest idiot as usual.. Some of the FX didn't quite work out like I'd wanted.. The "shadow figures" I guess technically worked, but didn't come out quite right. Some of the keying left behind white pixels and stuff like that. Everything but the intro was just shot on my little S20 FE.. (I wasn't ready to say goodbye to the SD card, but wow this phone has been horrible since day one), and I just did my best to stabilize it, used some IR filters and a small light on the camera etc..

Was my first attempt at one these pointless "rants".. Can't exactly call it standup or myself a comedian when its just my dumb@ss in front a camera AND edited. But I do try to improv them just working off bullet lists and notes of things to remember so I don't venture too far off the rails.. Obviously no copyright infringement or anything else on Mutahar/SOG or LTT, was just using the clips as part of the.. "bit" or.. whatever this was? (Bad/cringe stand-up wannabe for old loser geeks and nerds?). I usually just green-screen out the background and use a real, but out of focus, picture of my wall behind it so it isn't too jarring or offensively poorly keyed out, but... I got a little too close to the backdrop, combined with inadequate lighting, casting shadows that couldn't be properly keyed out, so.. I went with using Resolve's Magic Mask option.. (you can see it in the green that got left behind in some obvious areas, but other than that, I'm fairly impressed with the auto-detection of it). Much easier and faster to just.. properly light your green screen and watching your distance, but.. live and learn...LOL Designs are either stock images, product images, or designs I've personally created/pieced together. Just trying to avoid actually stepping on anyone's toes or angering anyone more than these moronic rants are already going to (if anyone ever sees this dumb trash anyway LOL). "Background music" is something I threw together using a pack of loops purchased for producers etc.. I couldn't really find anything that was just a walking bassline this long on Envato, and I'm too cheap to pay for something like Epidemic sound that might actually have something like it, so.. just threw it together myself in Acid Pro (yeah they still sell that one and its cheap, to any other old people who remember it when it was owned by Sonic Foundry and Sony LOL)

Not exactly as they were originally intended, but just to mix things up, I wanted to throw Marc Brunet's brushes into Affinity for some lineart coloring.. A bit more serious, non satirical, version of the "Apple Made the Internet Dumb" rant.. Not sure who this is for, unless you're looking for like a weird monotone ASMR thing to put you to sleep??? The "introduction" bit just sounds whiny AF honestly , so I'd personally skip it and just go into the real talk, but it was something I felt was needed for context. I don't really use the word "satire" to cover my a$$, it's really just referencing the over-the-top aggression and idiotic conclusions, or straws grasped at, to try and make whatever ridiculous argument work.. the "real talks" are essentially the same conversation minus the overacting and lunatic reaching for connections that aren't really there, OR are quite a leap. But actual opinions on certain things are obviously NOT satirical, which is kind of the point of this video.. go over those, just give some thoughts without the tone, facial expressions etc.. At the time of initially recording and editing, I'd watched a couple minutes of a few other creators I follow playing this, and just thought the entire concept of it was hilarious, and could be fun to play.. Dev isn't asking much and its definitely something I'd recommend inebriated.. LOL Really no idea how I managed to get through it even on the 2nd run.. I'm already pretty bad at games, but playing them worrying about the camera?? Still getting used to that one, so the more basic, the better for now LOL.. Might do some of the Fears to Fathom episodes.. I've only seen the first one, so would skip it just because I already know the scares/ending etc.. but most of the gaming are things I do in between the other projects. It was a pretty quick slash & dash edit job in Resolve honestly, was literally about to start on the next "rant" video when I saw this, and wanted to play it, so.. it's a bit rough, but.. hopefully entertaining to some degree?? (probably just cringe though tbh)

Latest (2nd..lol) attempt at one of these pointless "rants"... This one is essentially just complaining about how bad, and usually poor/lazy TV shows typically are versus the amount of effort some of the big creators out there put in, and that leading to them being desperate enough and resorting to taking away our ownership just to try and keep their profits from dropping too low. Just like the Apple one.. there's obvious truths/facts/personal opinions that aren't jokes or sarcasm.. Not trying to use "satire" as some cover my @ss thing.. The satire is the idiotic conclusions and over-the-top aggression that's just easy to tap into.. (I blame years of being a computer nerd and watching too much standup.. difference there being they were actually funny lol). Background music is just a walking bassline I threw together in Acid Pro with some purchased loops.. The language censoring is really just more a "yeah I'm in my 40's... but my mom might see this.." mentality.. I'd rather just censor it for humor than offend anyone with it, essentially.. The Apple Rant was my first attempt at one of these, ran into a lot of issues, figured quite a few of those out, but always trying to improve.. No idea if that is actually apparent though LOL.

Originally I planned on getting this (and a couple of other horror gaming videos) uploaded before this past Halloween to my YT channel, but.. slowly but surely learning things happen and how to better plan editing/recording/writing/etc.. LOL Despite having quite a few gaming videos, I'm really horrible at video games. Still love playing them, but yeah.. probably a little difficult for most people to watch LOL.. More than anything playing them and editing them gives me some "space" in between thinking out the rants and trying to remember some certain details of stories etc.. First time seeing, playing, reacting anything to the original game. I think I may have seen either one of the spins off, or maybe the 2nd official one being played by someone that had the more traditional FNAF gameplay, but other than that, a first. Usually I just throw together whatever background music I use in a video (bad as it may be), but I'm pretty limited to really basic lofi/chill/hiphop etc.. so I went with Envato for the quick time lapse piece, track is Heroic by FlorewsMusic if you're on/use Envato and need something like it.

Just a ... somewhat..?? satirical review of the movie Primal Rage.. its a low budget/indie monster movie about Bigfoot, but.. had a twist to it that I really should have seen coming. No offense actually intended, I don't mean that as a scapegoat or excuse.. I just genuinely think at the end of the day, even in this case, I'm the biggest idiot for not only making the mistake of watching it (not realizing some things), but going so far as to say "hey I'll make that a review video.." Everyone in this movie has obviously accomplished more than I have.. LOL. Still getting more accustomed to Resolve, (I wish I'd learned about the Magic Mask tool BEFORE I started editing this project.. lol). Other than movie posters or stills, I TRY to use graphics I've either made or pieced together myself just to avoid taking anyone's work without permissions etc.. Again.. with obvious exceptions on takes I think would be pretty universal.. all in good fun. Working on another at the moment in a similar vein, but regarding Apple, and one trying to parody paranormal investigation shows (no idea if that one actually gets released...LOL).

Thanks for watching.. I really wasn't sure what to do as a landing page video, so.. this was just the moronic idea I had. My first real project editing in Resolve. I've been a graphics/video geek for over two decades, but had always used Premiere, so.. not the best work, but had to start somewhere. First attempt using real time facial capture in Adobe Character Animator as well, which was.. interesting but I'd really like to fine tune that a LOT more. Background "music" is just some random stuff I threw together in Acid Pro using music packs I bought from LoopMasters.. Just about all the "jokes" or "humor" are really meant to be either self-deprecating or satirical.. not trying to offend anyone.
