There are two levels to Woke. Surface level: absurdity Deeper level: danger It's easy to show people how absurd Woke is, but it's important that people realize its dangers.

I was recently on Making Sense of the Madness on Patriot TV with Jason Bermas. We chatted about Woke's sleight-of-hand when it comes to race.

The unintended consequence of school choice is that public schools actually improve when they have to compete. There is new data in a new PragerU video, but there is also a historical precedent. In 1680 when Charles II created Royal Societies, his intention was to replace failing local schools. What ended up happening was those schools quickly improved on their own when the children of nobility started to leave school for Royal Societies.

I really believe that we have seen "peak woke". People on the left are now starting turn on the Woke agenda and that's a good thing. In this age of extreme polarization, it's nice to see both sides coming together on something.

Recently, I was on the Tea Party Power Hour with Mark Gillar. We had a great conversation. One of the things we discussed is how the Woke are co opting the language in much the same way as in China's Cultural Revolution. Control the language and you control the debate was the belief in China during that time. This terrible societal upheaval in China was carried out by what was known as the Gang Of Four, four "uber-Marxists" handpicked by Chairman Mao himself. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the “common man.”

Amazing how often the interests of Marxism and Wokeism seem to dovetail. In the 45 Communist Goals that were entered into the Congressional Record back in 1963, #31 read: Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history on the ground that it was only a minor part of the "big picture." Just sayin'.

Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with “social” religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity which does not need a “religious crutch.” 28. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principle of “separation of church and state.”

Get control of the book-review assignments, editorial writing, policy making decisions. #21 Gain control of key positions in radio, TV and motion pictures. These two have gone all-in on Woke. The press runs interference for the Woke and Hollywood flat out promotes it. But there’s more to the list as we’ll see in future videos!

The 13th goal calls for the elimination of loyalty oaths. The Woke establishment hasn’t eliminated oaths yet, but they have started to erode their “gravitas,” so to speak. Recently at a school district in California, a newly elected school board member took the oath of office on a stack of sexually explicit books. These are the same books that parents have demanded removed. Number 17 calls for: Getting Control of the schools Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist Propaganda Soften the curriculum Get control of teacher associations Put the party line in textbooks If I didn’t put this in the context of communism, you would presume that I am talking about Woke. That’s because Woke and communism have the similar goals and methods. If a child were dyslexic would you want the teacher telling you that the child was a “bad reader”? Then why do we put up with educators telling us that our sons are somehow toxic?

We like to think that education has evolved over the years. Our grandparent’s generation saw boys, with undiagnosed learning disabilities, being shamed by having to wear a Dunce Cap. Now boys are being told that they are toxic. Have we really moved forward?

"Eliminate all 'Studies' programs" says Alan Dershowitz, former Harvard Professor and alum. What is he talking about? He's talking about programs like Women's Studies, Asian Studies, and other X-studies. Dershowitz says that don't create educated people, they just create a cheering section for identity groups. And that is not what education is about. Education is about teaching the next generation HOW to think not WHAT to think. It is something I have believed for a long time, but now we're seeing more and more educators jumping on to the bandwagon. Welcome to the bandwagon. Have a seat.

The Victim is all important to the Woke! Of all the bad things about Woke, let's add elevating the victim to the list. We have all been victims at some point and we have all had set backs. But what is great about us is our ability to overcome our failures and weaknesses. I grew up a pretty shy kid, but I overcame that to become the success that I am today. You have some weakness that you were born with and you overcame it, how different would your life be if you had reveled in it? This is why giving kids' status points for having phobias or disabilities is so damaging. As Jonathan Haidt of NYU said in an interview, we don't know how much damage we are doing to society by allowing this.
