The Toxic War on Masculinity (Feat. Nancy Pearcey)
Recently, I had the privilege of interviewing Professor Nancy Pearcey regarding her newest book "The Toxic War on Masculinity: How Christianity Reconciles the Sexes." Her earlier books include Love Thy Body: Answering Hard Questions about Life and Sexuality, The Soul of Science, Saving Leonardo, Finding Truth, and two ECPA Gold Medallion Award Winners: How Now Shall We Live (coauthored with Harold Fickett and Chuck Colson) and Total Truth. Her books have been translated into 19 languages. She is professor and scholar in residence at Houston Christian University. A former agnostic, Pearcey has spoken at universities such as Princeton, Stanford, USC, and Dartmouth. She has been quoted in The New Yorker and Newsweek, highlighted as one of the five top women apologists by Christianity Today, and hailed in The Economist as "America's pre-eminent evangelical Protestant female intellectual."

Charles Thomas Studd, or C.T. Studd shocked western Europe when he abandoned his athletic career and wealthy lifestyle for the sake of Christ. This path would take him through dangerous jungles, angry rioters, and even preaching the gospel to Cannibals in the heart of Africa.
This video contains excerpts of Studd's sermon "The Chocolate Soldier" as well as quotes from his other writings.

Losing one of my closest friends (what Iv'e learned)
As you can see in the title, I recently lost one of my closest friends, my 80-year-old grandfather. In this video, I am going to attempt to share some of what I have learned throughout this process. Historically, these are areas I didn’t have a ton of experience and in many ways, I still don’t. This is by no means a master class in death or life. However, whether you are young and feel like you are going to live forever or feel death approaching, I think there will be something here for all of you.

Does God Cause Illness?
In Exodus, God says, “Who has made man’s mouth? Or who makes him mute or deaf, or seeing or blind? Is it not I, the Lord?” Does God really make people deaf and blind? Does God make everyone sick since he’s all powerful?

Frustrated with church? Let's do something about that
Have you ever been really disappointed with a church you were attending? Maybe the pastor seemed like he sloppily prepared his sermon, and it was a waste of your time. Perhaps the music was bad or the people within the church wronged you in some way. Maybe you felt lonely and isolated in a church that continually talks about how important community is to them. The question I would like to attempt to answer is, what do we do when we are faced with disappointment in our local church?

Civil Disobedience: A Biblical Approach
Do we obey God or the government? What do we do when the government and God conflict? Is it ever biblical to form a revolution against a tyrannical government? In this video, I am going to be doing my best to present a biblical appraisal of civil disobedience and our responsibility as Christians a post-Christian nation.
This video ended up being way longer than I initially thought, but I didn’t want to break it up into smaller videos because I think it is best viewed in sequence that I am presenting it. If you need to take a break or stop watching, you can always come back and there are time stamps showing the chapters of the video to make that easier.

Understand the Bible like Never Before (pt. 2)
If you were to sample a group of Christians as to which translation of the bible they use, you are going to get mixed results. So why are there many translations? This video not comprehensive, and but it should give you a brief overview of the timeline of how we got the bible from the original languages into English. If you are new to this series, I would encourage you to watch Episode one as this is the second part of a four-part series on how to understand the bible like never before.

He comes from what appears to be an ex-mainline, now Jewish (though not messianic) perspective. He has some really good info, though we would agree to disagree on a few things. He is one of the best organizers of information I have seen on this platform and I really appreciate the work he put into his chart and was the (obvious) starting point for mine. I would have used his chart, but I wanted to add a few translations with an evangelical focus, as well as show version updates.

Hope for a remnant in a declining culture
Christians have been on the defense in the culture war for a long time. It is a rare occasion to see someone boldly stand and articulate their beliefs in the public square with Calvin Robinson’s eloquence, composure, and steadfast demeanor. His speech calmly defended beliefs that have been held for millennia capturing the attention of millions of people. There comes the obvious questions, why aren’t more people like him? What do Christians need to do differently?

The Sky is not Falling
Dear Christians, the sky is not falling.
“Some want to live within the sound of church or chapel bell; I want to run a rescue shop, within a yard of hell... My prayer is, when I die, all of hell rejoices that I am out of the fight...[and] with one fool less to handicap him, God will do greater wonders still!” - C.T. Studd

Can you Be Gay and Christian
If a news reporter were to walk up to you and ask do define a biblical positions on LGBTQ issues, would you be able to do it? What if the reporter gives loaded questions like, “Why do Christians hate gays?” “Why can’t Christians let people do what they want in private as consenting adults?”
How would you respond to those questions, and could you do it quickly and concisely?
