Alley Springs Mill a different view. Alley Springs is part of the Ozark National Water Ways. There are over 400 such sites in this system. The nearby river here is Jacks Fork and is close to the Current river.

Tower Rock is a formation in the Mississippi river located in southern Missouri. During low water periods you can walk out and climb on and around the structure. There is a camp ground across the river in Illinois called "Devils Backbone Campground"

Video was recorded February 1, 2024 at the Highway K Recreational Area located about five miles outside of Annapolis, Missouri. During the warmer months this is a popular area where locals gather to picnic, cool down and relax. Notice the water though shallow has a swift current.

A flight in reverse of a previous video. Put together using cab cut as a test. The area is around Knob Lick, Missouri about 70 miles south of St. Louis.

Video of recreation area south of Greenville, Mo. This is part of Lake Wappapello just off US highway 67 about 35 miles north of Poplar Bluff, MO.

Nothing special and not as good a quality as I would like. This was shot with a Mavic Pro which I used some years ago. The area is St. Francis State Park by the Big River after the storms came through and took out a lot of tree limbs. Was just looking to get a bird in the air after all the high winds we have had.

This is an area five miles west of Anappolis, Missouri. The day was sort of dark and dreary as well as deserted but I put the bird up anyway. The quality is not the best one reason being I did not notice the finger print on my camera lens but what the heck. Hope you enjoy it.

This is a view of the ATV area and one of the lakes at St. Joe State Park in Park Hills, Missouri. This was taken May 7, 2022 using an ND16 filter.

Kaskaskia is a village in Randolph County, Illinois, it was settled by France as part of the Illinois Country. During the American Revolutionary War, the town, which by then had become an administrative center for the British Province of Quebec, was taken by the Virginia militia during the Illinois campaign. It was designated as the county seat of Illinois County, Virginia, after which it became part of the Northwest Territory in 1787. Kaskaskia was later named as the capital of the United States’ Illinois Territory, created on February 3, 1809. In 1818, when Illinois became the 21st U.S. state, the town briefly served as the states’ first capital until 1819, when the capital was moved to a more centrally located Vandalia. The town was originally located east of the Mississippi river until it was destroyed by the flood in April 1881, as the Mississippi river shifted eastward to a new channel taking over the lower 10 miles of the Kaskaskia River. The state boundary line remained in the original location making Kaskaskia an exclave of Illinois lying west of the Mississippi and accessible only from Missouri.

December day at the Perry Tower site. Sort of cold and had to watch out for all the guy wires for the adjacent communications tower. My observer was cold and wanted to stay in the car for the most part, but I can't blame her.

This is a bright sunny afternoon spent at Sandy Creek covered bridge outside of Hillsboro, Missouri. I was using an ND4 filter but still got a lot of glare. Should have possibly used a stronger filter.

Another visit to Washington State Park in Missouri. Bright sunny day December 4th and I forgot to use an ND filter. However, it was still a pleasant flight.

Trail of Tears State Park is a large park located in the Cape Girardeau, Missouri area on the Mississippi River. Besides the overlook, camping and Lake Boutin they have various hiking trails through out. The park is a beautiful and well maintained outdoor facility. Waterways fascinate me as you can see most of my video is of the river front areas,
