The Grants Pass Gospel Rescue Mission, serving the homeless in the Rogue Valley since 1983, is a beacon of hope and transformation. More than just a provider of immediate assistance, we are committed to addressing the root causes of homelessness and empowering individuals by providing a Pathway to Independence.
With a track record that speaks volumes, one in three residents who walk through our doors leave with housing and a sustainable source of income, setting them on a path to lasting change. Unlike merely making homelessness on the streets more bearable, our mission is to equip individuals with the tools and support they need to leave homelessness behind…for good.
Through our comprehensive programs and Gospel-centered approach, we strive not only to meet immediate needs but also to foster long-term solutions that restore dignity, self-sufficiency, and hope. Partner with us in our journey to transform lives and communities one individual at a time.
Know someone who is hungry to transition from homelessness? Please note that all requests for residency must be made in person by the individual seeking to stay with us.

California Spendin’: $24 Billion of Your Tax Dollars Wasted Tackling the Homeless Crisis
The state of California admitted that over the last 5 years they have spent an estimated $24 Billion dollars to help tackle the state’s homelessness crisis. Additionally they admit that they can’t really report on how the homeless have benefited in any substantial way since, according to one California Senator Dave Cortese, what they have presented is a “data desert” showing an unsettling lack of transparency at every level. Brian breaks down the numbers and compares it to the results of the Grants Pass Gospel Rescue Mission.

The 30 Day Program at the Grants Pass Gospel Rescue Mission - Ending Homelessness
Our program is based on an individual's desire to make meaningful change in their lives. The key to our success has been the careful program design that provides a pathway to independence. Upon intake, residents meet with a program coordinator who works with each individual to identify the key reasons why they are homeless. Through the program, barriers to independence are eliminated. These barriers can include: drug and alcohol addiction, mental and physical health issues, lack of ID or birth certificate, and relationship issues. Every 30 days, the resident is evaluated on their progress. As long as the resident is following the Mission rules and making steady progress toward independence, they may be granted an initial 30 days of residency. At each review, new goals are made.
