Spyderco Yojimbo 2 Tactical Wharncliffe with a DLT Exclusive 20CV Blade, DLC Coating and Tan G10
Carrying around my Yojimbo 2 always makes me confident.
This DLT Trading Exclusive Spyderco pocketknife was released in 2021 - and it comes with an upgraded CPM 20CV blade steel and tan G10 scales. To complete the package, it also has fully blacked-out liners which makes it look tactical inside and out.
If I wanted to be funny, I would say that the Yojimbo 2 opens boxes, and closes argument. And I’m also sure that Batman would happily pick this knife taken how mean it looks.
But I don’t love my Yojimbo just for the aesthetics! This knife also has amazing ergonomics, too. So, in a kali grip it feels like a natural extension to my forearm and has absolutely zero hotspots.
Thanks to Spydero’s signature compression lock and thumb-hole, opening and closing the Yojimbo is very quick and completely finger-safe. And this laundry list of amazing features just makes the Yojimbo 2 an amazing option in case negotiation wouldn’t do the trick.

Benchmade Bailout Overview - CPM-M4 Tanto Blade with Green Aluminum Scales & Axis-Lock
This is the Benchmade Bailout! A quote and quote tactical pocketknife with a very tough M4 blade steel; rigid, yet very light aluminum scales, Benchmade signature axis lock, deep carry clip, and an oversized back spacer that comes with a carbide glass breaker.
And I think we all agree that all this sounds like an amazing package. But unfortunately, it isn’t. This realization struck me after I carried the Bailout for quite some time now - and probably the pocket clip is the only thing I do not have a problem with on this Benchmade.
Sure thing, it looks cool and badass - but in practice this full flat tanto grind is way less slicy than compound tantos with a hollow grind and my knife among other issues comes with a terrible centering and blade wobble I simply cannot fix.

Meta AI Banned Search Results and Promotes Communism Instead! #metaai #censorship #freespeech
Meta AI went too far! 😡🚷
I just found out that Meta AI promotes Communism.
It all happened when I wanted to send a reel to my friend about Liberty Prime saying: “Death is a preferrable alternative to communism.” Which is a funny moment in Fallout 4.
So, I typed this sentence into the search bar. But instead of getting my search results…
A chat window popped up and Meta AI tried to convince me that communism is actually pretty okay.
Why is this disturbing?
Because Instagram now openly censors industrial art including knife content - which would be otherwise productive for our society.
In the meantime, META replaced all recommendations with content that includes nudity, and degenerate behavior. Plus, it protects ideological views such as communism.
And this is what our kids scroll every single day.

Spyderco Yojimbo 2 DLT Trading Exclusive with CPM 20CV Wharncliffe Blade, G10 Scales & DLC Coating
The Spyderco Yojimbo 2 is an outstanding EDC folder that comes with a hollow ground Wharncliffe blade. My specific Yojimbo pocketknife is a DLT Trading exclusive limited-edition Sprint Run, that comes with a DLC coated CPM 20CV steel and tan G10 handle scales. This collaboration between Spyderco and DLT Trading was released in 2021 and it was one of the first knives ever that Spyderco released with fully blacked out internal liners.

Knife Content is BANNED! Tyrannical Censorship Attacks on Social Media and Search Algorithms.
Knife Content is now officially banned and censored on Instagram and many other popular Social Media platforms. Many people I know from the knife space suffer from discrimination and censorship attacks every day - including Designers, Manufacturers, and Content Creators.
I myself also got banned from Instagram for 2 weeks because I uploaded a picture of my harmless 2-inch Spyderco Salt pocketknife.
This censorship campaign also aligns with the most recent real-world events. For example, kitchen knives by law must be chained to walls in many places throughout the world and even Swiss Army knives are getting produced without a blade.
I find this chain of events incredibly disturbing and dystopian because parallelly to censoring industrial art, social media platforms also encourage questionable behavior.

SOG Ultra XR Money Clip Overview - Carbon Fiber Scales, Titanium Nitride Coated S35VN Blade
Come and watch my full review because This pocketknife is the biggest disappointment ever! Also known as the SOG Ultra XR - or how I call it: the SOG Ultra Xringe. I know, that this knife is an interesting concept because it is super light, uses great materials, and in pictures, it looks great. Maybe this is the reason why some people are overly positive about it.
Unfortunately, I fell for the hype, and I bought the Ultra XR with my hard-earned money so I had to learn the hard way what a disaster this knife actually is. The most obvious problem is the Gold Titanium Nitride coating that comes off the blade like it was cheap paint. The opening action is also terrible! Not to mention the XR lock, which rusts like crazy. But this knife fails in many other ways, too!

The SOG Ultra XR is a lightweight EDC pocket knife that can also be used as a money clip or a credit card holder, since it comes with an oversized pocket clip. Throughout the years SOG has released many different versions of the Ultra XR - my knife comes with a Titanium Nitride coated S35VN blade and Carbon Fiber handle scales. This gold and dark grey color combination is very attractive looking. As a result, the SOG Ultra XR ended up as a very stylish EDC option that also comes with an ambidextrous cross-bar lock.

Microtech Exocet Sandtrooper - Star Wars Limited Edition OTF Money Clip Unboxing and Overview
This baby is the Exocet - yet another amazing OTF from Microtech Knives. And it is kind of a special one, as it has a limited edition Sandtrooper colorway from their famous Star Wars lineup. Which means it was anodized and ceracoted from top to bottom to have this apocalyptic beat-up look. And its oversized clip was decorated with the imperial crest.
But before the algorithm would ban me, because I dare to like functional stuff… I just want to point out that this is first of all a money clip! And and and and a card holder! It was just lucky RNG that it spawned out of thin air with this razor-sharp dagger blade that pops open with the press of a button. So, calm down everybody!
And besides all the jokes this Signature Series Exocet comes in a large Microtech box, alongside some inter galactic scripts about knife care which is vital - since all Microtechs have their own unique souls! This is why they also have their birthdays marked on them! Not kidding!
And it puts a dirty little smirk on my face every time I pop this blade open since day one. And I just can’t put it down.

Spyderco Para 3 - Compact EDC Folder Knife with S30V Steel, G10 Scales & Compression Lock
The Spyderco Para 3 folder with a satin finish S30V blade steel is a very popular design for EDC (Every Day Carry). Mainly, because it comes with the revolutionary Spyderco compression lock and thumb hole opener combo. The Para 3 was my first pocketknife that I've ever owned and I religiously carry it since the summer of 2019. In my product review I also talk about its downsides. Star Wars DIY Paracord Lanyards with Mando Bucket, Undead Clone Trooper Bucket, Armorer Brass Bead
May the 4th be with you! When people say this - they usually think about lightsaber wielding space mages who run around in their bathrobes. But not me! Because I know better! And clearly - the coolest factions in the Star Wars universe are either Mandalorians or Clone Troopers.
So, to celebrate May the 4th I grabbed these 3 Bucket Beads and slapped them onto these amazing pocketknives.
First of all, I paired up this Brass Blacksmith Bead that already had some gorgeous blue patina going with my Kansept Korvid which is a giant pocket cleaver.
Then I corded this White-Brass Mando Bucket onto my Sig Sauer EX5 which is a badass tactical pocketknife by Hogue Knives.
And last but not least, I picked up this already Star Wars themed Sand Trooper edition Microtech Exocet and made it complete with this Undead Clone Bucket. And if you’ve already seen the latest season of the Asoka series you must know how creepy these guys can go…
But anyway - which bead do you like the most? Let me know in the comments! Or if you wanna see even more fancy beads, check out my previous videos.

Sig Sauer EX5 by Hogue Knives Unboxing - Automatic Tactical Folder with CPM 154 Blade Steel
The Sig EX5 by Hogue Knives is one of my favorite tactical pocketknives. It comes with a snappy, reliable action and it can also turn into a fixed blade thanks to this safety switch.
Precisely milled aluminum makes the EX5 strong, light - and in combination with these G10 inlays, they provide a rock-solid grip. The cherry on top, Hogue joined these scales so seamlessly that they look like one integral piece.
The knife comes in this Sig Sauer box, alongside this nylon carry pouch, left side clip, Hogue sticker, a flyer and some silica.
After the unboxing I had to realize that the pictures did not do justice to this knife and the EX5 in real life looks extremely cool. This is something you can only understand after holding it in your hand.
Our blade is made of CPM 154 - a premium steel popular with auto folders and the factory edge on this thing is really-really nice. Among the best ones I’ve ever seen. I also enjoy the phenomenal spear point grind with this very unique harpoon swedge.

Lionsteel Leone Karambit with MagnaCut Steel and Emerson Wave Opener #magnacut #lionsteel
I decided to have a second take on this Lionsteel Leone which is a full-size tactical karambit with a MagnaCut blade that you can open at least a hundred different ways, a gorgeously anodized aluminum body, and an integral frame lock.
The huge pro of this construction is that the karambit ring is milled out of the very same piece of metal as the rest of the handle. This makes the Lionsteel Leone a comfy and hand-filling knife with no hotspots. Plus this screw-less integral body is very elegant and satisfying to look at.
This knife is a typical example of poor execution of a great idea, as my knife has a dangerously weak detent and a completely stripped pivot screw. The Leone comes in this black Lionsteel box alongside a mini pivot tool and a pretty much useless warranty card. As Lionsteel doesn’t even respond to the emails I send them.
I’m disappointed only because the Leone is an exciting design with premium materials but all this got ruined by trash build quality. All the problems could have been prevented if Lionsteel had opened the knife at least once after its assembly. And they could have also double-checked this pivot screw, too.

Top5 Tactical Fixed Blades - Winkler Belt Knife, TKell NightHawk, CRKT Clever Girl, Kwaiback, Tac-P
In the Top 5 Tactical Fixed Blades for 2024 comparison video I review my favorite knives that I carry every day.

Then I move on to talk about the Tkell Knives NightHawk, which is a very exciting semi-custom knife that features an American Tanto blade grind. On the third spot, I pull up my CRKT Clever Girl - a great option for camping.
The Hoback Kwaiback has similar traits to the previous two knives and its Upswept Japanese Tanto grind gives it a perfect balance. Finally, the Microtech Tac-P is a very unique and fun everyday carry choice that just had to be on my Tactical Fixed Blades Toplist this year.
Besides these five amazing knives, I also showcase two other designs as honorable mentions. The first one is the Fox Diagnostic - designed by Bastien Bastinelli, and the second one is the Spyderco Subway Bowie designed by Fred Perrin.

Hoback Kwaiback with Paracord Lanyard and Snake Knots #hobackknives #paracordtutorials #fixedblade
In this DIY mini-series, I’m showcasing my favorite two paracord colors - goldenrod and acid purple. Both of them come with a diamond pattern which just makes them even cooler. These 550 Type 3 cords were made in the USA and brought to Europe by Knives and Tools dot com.
So I quickly grabbed five of my naked knives and dressed them up in these fancy new colors. I got two Spydercos, Two Cold Steel ones, and also this pretty amazing Hoback Kwaiback. This 5-inch-long fixed blade comes with S35VN steel, Upswept Tanto grind, and gorgeous carbon fiber scales. For this knife, I chose the goldenrod color, because the yellow cord and the deep grey grip have amazing synergy in my opinion.
Since this is a lightweight self-defense knife that I carry inside my waistband - I wanted to give it a sleek and minimalistic lanyard - so I went with 3 snake knots and no beads. But this helix pattern makes my lanyard look extra despite being very simple. If you wanna see all my lanyards come - check part 2 and part 3.

Spyderco Native 5 & Endura 4 with Paracord Lanyard #spyderco #paracord #lanyard
In the final episode of my DIY mini-series, I’m showcasing how I dressed up two of my favorite Spyderco knives - the Native 5 and the Endura 4, using Goldenrod and Acid Purple paracord. I’m super happy I found these cords on Knives and Tools because it is a real challenge to find good-quality rope these days. This diamond pattern makes them look even cooler! - A perfect fit for my knives!
I’ll start with the Native 5 and some purple cord. Since Maxamet Spydercos arrive with this grey handle and stonewashed metal parts I got myself a nice combination. I also threw in an antique bronze bead, and I secured it with a couple of snake knots. Then sealed the cord at a 45-degree angle - using my favorite technique.
Then I continued with my Endura 4 - that just like its smaller brother - also got an antique brass ring. But this time I went with the goldenrod paracord, as it was a better match with these deep blue FRN scales. This combo reminds me of a sandy beach, so I dig this lanyard a lot.
If you wanna see my other 3 knives, come check out parts one and two.

Leatherman Signal Multitool with Survival Lanyard
I consider these paracord techniques must-have knowledge ever since the Leatherman Signal became my favorite pocket-sized survival kit for hikes and trips. If I wander off the trail I always carry outdoor emergency gear. And this multitool takes care of everything I throw at it. I just have to make sure not to lose it. So I came up with this dayglow survival lanyard. I used Canary Yellow Paracord and a pretty cool Titanium Bear bead.
On top of being stylish and decorative, this bulky lanyard is also very functional. It helps me grab the Signal from its sheath and also improves my grip. And even if I manage to drop my Leatherman, this vivid yellow helps me spot it more easily. Otherwise, I would be in a big trouble.
If you wanna know how to make this lanyard step-by-step, then come and watch my tutorial where I will also show you how I added this fancy little ghost to my Civivi Baby Banter.
