3 DAYS ITINERARY NAIVASHA | KENYA 🇰🇪 Hit save. ​​​​​​​​​ Day 1 AM | Arrive and check into @campacacianaiasha for 3 nights. PM |Go for a bush walk to Crater Lake to move after your 2.5 hour drive from Nairobi. Evening | Enjoy a camp fire and delicious dinner and keep an eye out for some giraffes or zebras inside the camp. Day 2 AM | Go for a bike ride and walk in Hells Gate National Park. They do have the kiddy seat, just ask for it. Followed by a soak in Olkaria Geothermal Hot Spa. Grab lunch here at their restaurant. PM | Enjoy a boat ride on Lake Oloidien or Lake Naivasha. Then enjoy a delicious pizza at Ranch House Bistro after your boat adventures. Day 3 EARLY MORNING | Go for a hike inside Oserengoni Wildlife Conservancy. AM | Horse riding to your bush breakfast set up inside the conservancy. PM | Chill at Chui Lodge's swimming pool and enjoy the facilities for the afternoon. Have lunch here at their super unique restaurant, or outside to the view of the wilderness and wildlife. Going to Tanzania? Save our self drive itinerary. ​​​​​​​​​ First of all, it is worth noting that you need to get a vehicle from a reputable self drive car provider. We used @shilashicarhire and the 4x4 was amazing. Knowing how harsh the terrain can be in Tanzania the team made sure to give us the right information on everything there is to know in Tanzania. So here is the exact itinerary and places we stayed throughout our self drive in Tanzania. All the properties are by @africasafaritanzania. Day 1 - Arusha | stayed at Africa Safari Arusha. Day 2 - Lake Natron | camping at Africa Safari Lake Natron. Day 3 - Lake Natron again. Day 4 - Drove through Serengeti National Park and then stayed outside Serengeti + camped with Africa Safari Serengeti Ikoma. Day 5 - Drove one more day through Serengeti to enjoy the wildlife. Continued through to Lake Ndutu | stayed at Africa Safari South Serengeti Ndutu. They don't have camp site options here so we stayed in tents. Day 6 - Game drives in Lake Ndutu. Day 7 - Drove through Ngorongoro to Lake Manyara. Camped at Africa Safari Lake Manyara. Day 8 - Explored the local village in Lake Manyara and camped here one more night. Day 9 - Drove back to Arusha and stayed again at Africa Safari Arusha. Day 10 - Left Tanzania. The Skeleton Coast in Namibia holds over 300 shipwrecks both in the water, and in the desert. Some of it's shipwrecks can be found hundreds of meters inland from the ocean due to the ever-shifting landscapes. As we continued our road trip from Brandberg Mine, towards the coastal town of Swakopmund we tried our best to find some of these amazing wrecks! On our way we also visited a place that we think must be the smelliest place in Namibia - Cape Cross Seal Colony! We also ventured into the desert by quad bike (ATV) for some exhilarating sandboarding and tried one of Swakopmunds most popular beachfront restaurants! Prison Island & Nakupenda Island is one of Zanzibar's most popular tours! But is it worth it? Start by visiting the famous prison island which was originally built to house slaves, before eventually being turned into a quarantine island where crews would have to stay before entering the island of Zanzibar to ensure they weren't spreading disease. Nowadays the island serves as tourist attraction and home to over 100 giant tortoises which roam the "tortoise sanctuary". Nakupenda island is a beautiful (but busy) sand bank just a short boat journey away from prison island and where most tours will stop for lunch and relaxing for the second half of their trip. Amboseli could be the best park in Kenya in terms of it's diversity, and we've loved exploring this fascinating region of Kenya. There are many amazing camps and lodges in the region and today we moved on to the amazing Elephant Gorge Camp which is a completely wild, fenceless camp around 30 minutes from the gate of Amboseli. There actually only 2 camps within the park itself, and even though this camp is not one of them, that doesn't mean its not wild! We spent the night listening to hyenas outside our room, and had a close encounter with a local elephant! We also enjoyed an amazing bush-walk, sundowners AND a private dinner outside our room. Amboseli National Park keeps surprising us! Not only were we blessed with the amount of beautiful wildlife we saw, but we had a RARE opportunity to visit a Maasai wedding happening in the local community, and fly high above the park with the ultimate view of Kilimanjaro in a hot air balloon!
