The public opinion trial of Russell Brand is heating up. And it’s spawned a second, larger, and more ominous story. Government, corporate media, and advertisers are pouncing on Brand, Rumble, free speech, and democracy. They are taking advantage of the current scandal to weaken the free exchange of ideas and the democracy that depends upon it. I discuss how government, corporate media, and advertising conglomerates are working to push out Brand, Rumble, free speech, and democracy. And I predict that Rumble may not be remain in the U.K. as their Online Safety Bill takes effect.
