This 1929 Ford Model A Special Coupe belonged to a club member's dad, who has passed on, and it sat for decades. They asked for help some time ago, and the guys who came over to help unfortunately made things worse. MUCH worse! So, it ended up at my dad's shop where we ended up removing the motor and doing a full rebuild on it, then pulling the old wiring and installing a brand new wiring harness. This Model A is FAR from ready to drive every day, but we got it several steps closer to that goal. Motorola RAZR V3xx flip phone - The best cellphone I have ever had, and now it's gone. The cellular carriers discontinuing 3G service (3G shutdown) is what it took to kill this indestructible cellphone. The Razor was introduced in 2003 and was Motorola's best selling device. I can see why. They can go a week or more of regular use between charging, have excellent audio quality, and are practically indestructible. RIP, my faithful friend. 3G shutdown for the sake of 4G or 5G, I suppose.

January 1, 2022 and I woke the 1929 Ford Model A from a 9 month slumber and drove the 15 mile round trip to the gas station and back. It is the best driving Model A that I have ever driven, and I have driven a lot of them. All original, never been restored, survivor, Concours D' Elegance winner. It's a kit of parts really and looks to have had a hard life with lots of very worn and hastily repaired parts. But it seems to want to run and I'm really looking forward to our first ride. I have a pipe dream of one day doing an American road trip in a model A - driving a short distance in the morning and then sketching and getting to meet the locals in the afternoon.
