I question what's really going on more and more each day. With people being so out of touch and others being just fucking stupid, it's clear that there are delusional people and the influence that they spread is starting to become the norm? WTF? When it comes to this space, this industry and what I have seen, a lot of it is brutally honest and can humble you faster than light. Then we take a look at several different viewpoints: A father who said "fuck" in court and was arrested, A Vietnam Veteran's opinionated bs without any facts behind them, an overly popular streamer who thinks streaming is harder than an actually job (mentally-yes, physically-no), SONY laying off around 900 people and some idiot's opinion on "Real Gamers" But it's never always doom and gloom. When we say take thing into consideration, what we really mean is understand the aspects of what you're talking about. From someone's "calling out" of a company because they didn't get a certain thing due to not meeting the required analytics, to Kick not really meaning what they're saying because of past issues and such. And if you're ever banned from a streamer's channel, just move TF on. Don't try blasting and bashing them on Twitter or any social media. Sometimes I wish people wouldn't be so freaking stupid!!! I guess the industry didn't learn a freaking thing from 2020 when we all went dark on the topic of predators in the streaming industry. Another Veterans Day, and another time where a lot of companies tend to forget that we exist. A simple "Thank you veterans for what you do" would be an easy solution, but no. Nothing except from Twitch, Elon Musk, And Halo and 343 along with (and I forgot to mention them in the video) POGGERS®, which is an energy company. These 4 were the ONLY ones that I've seen on Veterans Day that said ANYTHING on Twitter. And yes, I know that other demographics and groups get attention on certain days and even months. But when you have veterans of those groups, that are basically ignored, it's a question of "Do we matter anymore? Or are you just using us for your own benefit now?". And if you're upset with what I referenced, take a look throughout the past year and see who all has changed their stuff to appease the other demographics and groups.
