The Open Border- Trailer for the Documentary on the Crisis Between the United States and Mexico
Wanna see what's really happening at the border between the United States and Mexico? This is the trailer for my documentary on the Border Crisis in the Southern United States. This is about covering the issue from both sides, figuratively and physically.
PLEASE SHARE THIS VIDEO. It Needs to be SEEN.
I went to all 4 states that border Mexico covering thousands of miles between the border in San Diego all the way down the bottom tip of Texas south of Donna, Texas.
I've interviewed both law enforcement and immigrants. I've walked along side them, laid down on the dirt with the babies that are crying or trying to sleep and I've spoken with the coyotes as they've dropped off load after load of humans over the Rio Grande.
This documentary isn't about picking sides, it's about showing what's happening so hopefully we can all find a solution. For more information please visit:

Why Sensor Size Matters- Comparing Crop Sensor to Full Frame to Medium Format- What You Need to Know
Ever wonder if sensor size matters? If so, how? Depth of Field, Color, Bokeh, and Low Light Performance are all impacted by sensor size. Check out the video below to find out what you need to know!
To see the images from this review for yourselves please visit:

Please thumbs up, share, drop a comment below and subscribe!
In this review shot in the beautiful landscape of Alaska, Jason Lanier compares the Sony A6500 (Crop Sensor), Sony A7C (Full Frame) and the Fujifilm GFX 50R (Medium Format). He shoots the cameras using the same Full Frame equivalent of 50mm.
Sensor size plays a bigger role than many photographers may know. Sensor size affects depth of field (blur and separation), bokeh (how large), colors and the low light performance of a camera.

Testing the Electronic Shutter Flash and Buffer at 30FPS on the Sony A1 using Rotolight Flash
Wanna see what the Sony A1 can do at 30 Frames Per Second with the Electronic Shutter with a flash that has no recycle time? Curious about the buffer performance for SD cards on the camera? Check out this video now!
PLEASE THUMBS UP, LEAVE A COMMENT AND SUBSCRIBE!!
In this video that was shot at the AVC Photo Store in Miami long time Sony Shooter Jason Lanier tests the Electronic Shutter in Flash mode using the Rotolight Titan X1 which has no recycle time. In fact the entire line up of Rotolight flashes have no recycle time which is why Jason was excited to pair these lights with the new Sony A1.
For more information, exclusive deals and bundles on these lights please visit:
www.rotolight.com/jasonoffers
In this shoot Jason shoots with the Sony A1 using both a fast and slow SD memory card and shares the results of how the buffer performed when using both cards.
This video also shows the performance of the electronic shutter in flash mode with the resulting 30 images taken per second. All images were taken in raw mode and then converted to TIFF's using the Sony Imaging Edge Software as at the time of the making of this video neither Lightroom or Capture One have a raw profile available for the Sony A1.
We hope the video helps and thank you for watching! Please let us know what questions you have.

Rotolight Trade Up Program- trade in your old lights for up to $1000 & upgrade to a brand new Titan!
Got a bunch of old lights that you wanna get rid of and upgrade to the best light in the world? This is the program for you. Rotolight has just launcheda brand new trade up program that allows you to trade in your old Rotolights AND also lights from other brands!
Here's how it works:
Step 1: Got to www.rotolight.com/tradeup- enter the light that you want to trade in for a cash value towards a Titan X1 or X2. Once you've entered that information you will receive a promo code that takes that cash value and applies it towards the purchase of a Titan X1 or X2.
Please note: Following that registration process you will receive an email from Rotolight confirming the trade in that you have registered. IGNORE THAT EMAIL...here's why :) This is the first time ever that I've negotiateda deal with Rotolight for them to accept multiple promo codes for this program. Check out step 2 to do the DOUBLE DIP.
Step 2: Copy the promo code that Rotolight sent you for your old lighting gear.
Step 3: Go to www.rotolight.com/jasonoffers and find the Titan bundle that you want to purchase. The reason this is super important is because you get the battery adapter bundle WITH this method. If you simply follow the steps in the email Rotolight sends you then you won't get the battery bundle.
Step 4: Add the Titan bundle that you want and then go to your cart (basket). Enter BOTH the Jason Lanier promo code associated with your bundle AND the trade up program promo code to get the most gear and best price anywhere in the world on a Rotolight Titan.
I truly hope this helps photographers out there to be able to trade out their old gear and get into the best new lighting available anywhere. Please let me know what questions you have.
Thanks!

How to do a Photo Shoot with NO BUDGET- Learning To Create Something out of Nothing
Do you struggle to create because you don't have the cash to finance a photo shoot? THIS IS THE VIDEO FOR YOU! In this video Jason finds a free location, props and wardrobe to produce a shoot with zero cost...and he hopes the tips and tricks will help you as well!
PLEASE THUMBS UP, SHARE, LEAVE A COMMENT AND SUBSCRIBE!
Many times we struggle as creators because we have a vision for what we want to create but we lack the funds to do it. Jason believes that by finding areas that are free to shoot and using clothes that either the model owns or you find on location, you can create some very organic and creative compositions.
This video features the stunning Anakaren Sanchez as the model. Jason and Ana explore an abandoned house in Mobile, Alabama and actually find wardrobe for Ana to wear from the house itself. Jason then uses props from around the location to tie the shoot in to make it a well rounded shoot that tells a story and looks authentic.
