With a new Senate trial looming after President Donald Trump was impeached for a second time Wednesday, House Democrats say they are “ready to go” — but Trump’s legal strategy remains a complete unknown, as he reportedly struggles to find lawyers to represent him. Trump’s original cast of impeachment lawyers, who represented him during his first impeachment trial — including White House counsel Pat Cipollone and Jay Sekulow — have abandoned him, according to Bloomberg, as have a number of other prominent conservative legal figures. One lawyer who has not done so, however, is Rudy Giuliani, Trump’s personal attorney, failed election lawyer, and conspiracy theory enthusiast. Giuliani has told ABC that he is “involved” with the president’s impeachment trial defense, and he has even floated a possible Trump appearance at the trial. “You always make that decision at the last minute,” Giuliani told ABC’s Jonathan Karl this week of the possibility of Trump testifying. “As a lawyer, I wouldn’t be as strongly opposed to his testifying as I was [in Trump’s first impeachment trial].” Still, Giuliani’s exact role is uncertain: According to Karl, Trump’s legal strategy remains “very much in the air,” and Hogan Gidley, who served as Trump’s campaign press secretary in 2020, has pushed back on the idea that Giuliani will play a role.

How cute. AOC, who was in the Capitol on January 6, is sharing quite the harrowing tale many days later. But when asked to provide evidence for her claims, she didn’t have much to say. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) claimed during an Instagram Live video this week that she had a close encounter with death during the riot last week at the U.S. Capitol Building, but she declined to give any details on the alleged incident due to what she described as “security concerns.” Wow, AOC sure has been busy on Instagram, huh? After many wild accusations against Republican senators and red states, she went on to make even wilder claims. The “Democratic socialist” claims that she thought she was “going to die,” during the events of January 6. We do know that some lawmakers had to shelter in place for a time, as law enforcement restored order. But a near-death experience? Something like that demands more information and evidence. Of course, AOC hid behind a claim of “security concerns.” Now, when you say you didn’t think you’d “make it to the end of the day alive,” you need to back that up with some facts. Because right now there are no reports that any of our representatives were actually in imminent mortal danger. Unless you want to sound like a crazy Karen who exaggerates for attention. You wouldn’t want that now, AOC, would you? AOC claims she brought it up to “talk about trauma.” Uh… what? It’s no secret AOC’s entire career thrives on making big boasts, but delivering little. Remember her promise to “abolish ICE”? And her “Green New Deal”? It doesn’t seem like the Democrat has much to offer in the way of concrete ideas and leadership. So, we aren’t shocked she’d drop a bombshell like nearly dying, but refuse to prove it. Perhaps the only trauma talk she should be having is the trauma she’s causing to her supporters back in NY? Further sees Deputy Chairman Medvedev stating: “Biden has not yet said anything positive about Russia…On the contrary, his rhetoric has always been openly unfriendly, harsh, even aggressive…He has repeatedly stated that “Russia is the biggest threat to the United States in terms of undermining our security and alliances”…Nothing more, nothing less…Moreover, the Democrats’ team includes politicians who hold similar views and have no interest whatsoever in improving relations between Moscow and Washington”. With Deputy Chairman Medvedev then observing: “In the context of the outdated American electoral system, has moved up extremely high up the agenda…I am talking about the unprecedented role in public politics of social networks and new media, and, accordingly, of private IT companies that own those platforms…Conventional American media, whose activities are regulated by laws and fall within the First Amendment, have traditionally – and always officially – taken the side of a certain candidate and yet deemed it necessary to give coverage to statements made by the opponent during election and post-election campaigns…The social media, however, are beyond any special regulations and work on the basis of user agreements…The techniques previously used by Washington for democratization of other countries backfired…The cold civil war that had been raging in the US for a few months reached its climax…And it was them that unleashed the media war without rules!”. In describing this “war without rules” sees Deputy Chairman Medvedev saying: “And that war is waged against one single person…During the vote counting, Trump's posts on Twitter, where he has over 85 million followers, were flagged as potentially misleading and later even hidden…The events in the Capitol resulted in the unprecedented and permanent suspension of Trump's accounts in all social media – where he has a total of about 200 million followers…Whether Trump is good or bad, he is his country's national, and, furthermore, an official who enjoys the trust of nearly half of the Americans…Thus, it turns out that several technological corporations located in California got an appetite for power and thought it possible to juggle with news and facts to suit their own political preferences…This is but a blatant censorship!”. Thereafter then sees Deputy Chairman Medvedev warning of the grave consequences of these actions by stating: “Dictating their own terms, they have sought to substitute for state institutions, encroaching on their mandates, aggressively imposing their views on a great number of people, leaving them no other choice; while the 75 millions of Trump's voters and hundreds of millions of his subscribers were left out of their “choice”…These were simply labeled as insecure…Isn't it, indeed, a spectre of cyber totalitarianism that is gradually overwhelming the society, taking away from it (and potentially the entire world) the opportunity to see the reality for what it is?...But even if Donald Trump leaves the politics for good and the Tech Giants wipe out his digital footprint, the minds will remain hugely polarized…This is yet another problem stemming from the US's outdated voting system, and it will push governments of different countries into action to prevent the same scenario in their own States”. Then sees Deputy Chairman Medvedev warning: “Most importantly: the unpredictability of further US actions in the international arena, a kind of toxicity of this country even for its allies and partners is a result of serious social upheavals that American society faces…This internal and external instability is largely due to a clumsy, hopelessly outdated voting system that has seen no major changes since the 18th century up to the present…And the last election turned out to be not a political competition of ideas that the US had always prided itself on, but rather a confrontation between two campaigns of hatred”. After which Deputy Chairman Medvedev concludes his grim assessment by noting: “The problems of the Unites States can only be solved by the Americans themselves along with the good governance of the country…One of the founding fathers of the United States, Thomas Jefferson, rightly noted that “the whole art of government consists in the art of being honest”…Any election is the most important test of such honesty…Of course, only Americans themselves can decide whether to put aside their national selfishness and launch the voting system reform, and, consequently, the reform of political life, or not…So far, there has been no real move towards this…Nor even the slightest hint of a desire to change anything…And the international community is already paying too high a price for the US reluctance to change”. A grim assessment coming at the exact same time US Acting Defense Secretary Chris Miller announced that American troop levels in both Iraq and Afghanistan have now been reduced to 2,500 in each of these war zones—which is remarkable to notice as five times that number of American combat troops have been deployed in Washington D.C. this past week, and whose numbers now exceed over 25,000—heavily armed American combat troops who’ve now been cleared to use lethal force against their nation’s own citizens—though most astonishing to notice are American combat troops deployed in a Washington D.C. that’s been entirely shut down and no citizens are able to enter—and today sees Washington D.C. being the most militarized city in the entire world while being devoid of all citizens—thus bringing to mind the old adage: “The bigger the military presence, the greater the tyrant”. When yesterday it was announced that US federal prosecutors have charged 98 people in last week’s breeching of the US Capitol building and have 275 open investigations, with it being expected this number to swell in the days and weeks ahead, this report notes, being kept from the knowledge of the American people are the multiple leftists included in these arrests—one of the most prominent being leftist terrorist Antifa leader John Sullivan, whose beyond shocking just released chat log shows these leftists long planned the attack on the US Capitol—afterwards then saw leftist CNN interviewing Antifa leader Sullivan to make him out as some kind of hero, that was joined by leftist Rolling Stone magazine writing an article about Antifa leader Sullivan praising him as being “John Sullivan, a.k.a.
