Artist makes painting from the ashes that destroyed the harp making workshop of Harrari Harps
When I heard that Harrari Harps lost their workshop from a wild fire that destroyed their shop, I wanted to help in some way. I asked Shoshanna if I could have the ashes from their burned work shop to mix into my paint to make a painting as a fund raiser for their cause.
According to Times of Israel:
https://www.timesofisrael.com/report-investigators-increasingly-believe-jerusalem-area-blaze-caused-by-arson/
"The huge fire burned through some 25,000 dunams (6,200 acres) of forest outside Jerusalem between Sunday and Tuesday, {starting August 15, 2021}. Over 2,000 people were evacuated from their homes. Several houses were destroyed, though communities were largely spared. The Fire and Rescue Service said that during the 52-hour battle, forces confronted seven hotspots and that 200 units comprising 1,500 firefighters had participated in the efforts.
Officials have predicted that the rehabilitation process may take decades.
On Wednesday, Channel 13 news reported that officials believed the fire was started by arson, since it was ignited in two different places near Beit Meir, in an area that doesn’t see many hikers and where no objects have been found that could have started the fire by accident."
I named the painting "L'Chaim"
The painting took three months to plan and finish. The fire started on August 15 and I finished the painting on November 15, 2021. Everything in the painting has spiritual symbolism from the roots of the tree forming the Hebrew word L'CHAIM which means "to Life", to the sunrise that shines light through the tree branches which are shaped into a harp and lyres.

I tested the Art Set 4 app
i really like the Art Set 4 app at the app store. They do not collect personal data and there is a one time fee of $9.99 to unlock the complete app, no subscriptions! That's my kind of app! It has a lot of different brushes and a tutorial. This is my first attempt to draw something with this app. I mostly used my finger to draw it. It can be saved as a simple video, or jpeg, png, etc. I just got it last night and still trying to figure it out. I did it on an iPad.

Painting Over Another Painting
I started over, painting a new scene on top of an old painting. I repurposed another painting and used it for the background of a new floral painting. The first painting was an underwater scene that I had not finished. I turned it on it's side and used the blue background for flowers I wanted to paint. It still had a watery look, so for fun I added a fish to swim among the flowers. I added lots of bubbles and voila! I named it Underwater Bouquet.

Similarities between Passover and quarantine
When Nancy Cupp found an unfinished painting about Easter during the week before Easter 2020, it inspired her to talk about it and show some similar paintings on the same subject. As the world lockdown happened for the first time in history in 2020, a similar event happened in Egypt among the Jews at the first Passover on May 4, 1451 BC according to the Biblical timeline. Nancy discusses some of the spiritual similarities between the first Passover and the curfew that happened in Israel in 2020 and the historical lockdown felt around the world.

Scarves and Tapestries from My Redbubble Store
I just wanted to show you my artwork printed onto scarves and wall tapestries from my online Redbubble website. Redbubble is a print on demand online store where artists can upload their artwork and have it printed on to various products. I ordered several scarves and some wall tapestries to see if the quality passed my inspection and it did! The printing and quality of the fabric was very good. I have made some of my tapestries into kitchen curtains and they have been exposed to light from a southern window for two years now and have NOT faded, which is pretty impressive. The fabric is very sturdy and the prints have stayed true, with no fading. You can sew the tapestries into just about anything, from clothes, table clothes, wall hangings, curtains, and more. The scarves can be made into worship flags very easily by just sewing a hem at one end and inserting a pole, dowel rod, curtain rod, etc.
here is my redbubble store if you would like to look around.

modeling my artwork on T-shirts
Artwork is not confined to decorating walls anymore. After creating a painting, I can now upload the image to my online store, where they can print it onto various things. In this video I show some of my art printed onto T-shirts. I introduce and show one I am wearing, then show other designs modeled from my online store. These were printed from my Redbubble store. I also have another website that prints them also. You can see more at my two print on demand stores.
