#ISS (International Space Station)
Live from aboard the International Space Station, astronauts of NASA’s SpaceX Crew-7 mission talk with Senator Bill Nelson, NASA administrator, and Dr. Lisa Carnell, director of NASA’s Biological and Physical Sciences Division, about some of the groundbreaking research and technology demonstrations aboard the orbiting laboratory, which include:
• Demonstration of a small robot controlled remotely from our home planet to perform surgery in space
• A study on bone loss in space that may improve our understanding of age-related bone loss on Earth
Participating in the Earth-to-space call from orbit are astronauts Jasmin Moghbeli of NASA, Andreas Mogensen of the European Space Agency, and Satoshi Furukawa of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency.

NASA's Newly Unveiled X-59 Quiet Supersonic Plane Eyes First Flight(Trailer)
NASA and Lockheed Martin Skunk Works recently unveiled the X-59 experimental aircraft, designed and built to reduce a loud sonic boom, associated with faster-than-sound flight, to a quiet sonic thump. The X-59 now moves closer to its first flight — - a step toward making commercial supersonic flight over land a reality for everyone. Researchers on NASA’s Quesst mission will work to understand people’s reactions to the X-59’s thump and give that data to regulators, who will then consider writing new sound-based rules to lift the ban on commercial supersonic flight over land.
For more information on X-59, and the Quesst mission, visit: https://www.nasa.gov/mission/quesst/

As NASA prepares to send humans back to the Moon, we will send science and technology instruments ahead of time to lay the foundation for a sustainable human presence. Through NASA’s Commercial Lunar Payload Services or CLPS initiative, we are enabling American companies to send our science experiments and technologies to the lunar surface for us. This unique commercial delivery service is poised to change the way we work and perform science on the Moon, greatly expanding our capabilities for exploration.
