JILL DUGGAR'S MONEY - SHINY HAPPY PEOPLE LIE ABOUT DUGGAR TV SHOW FUNDS!
Shiny Happy People created another false narrative that Jill Duggar and her husband Derick Dillard were in no way compensated for their appearances on the Duggar's 19 Kids & Counting TV show and that JimBob Duggar was a greedy money hoarding father who kept all the monetary benefits away from his poor children.
This was another false narrative that the producers of Shiny Happy People ran with, but Jill Duggar Dillard and her husband have also promoted as true in the public while she was doing interviews to sell her book, Counting the Cost - and still seems to be promoting today.
Jill's words when asked if she ever got compensation for her appearances on the TV shows was "No cash, no check, no NOTHING." This video will chronical all the lucrative benefits she and her husband Derick actually received and their eventual payout after they left the show revealing that this statement, even when made, was completely false and a real misrepresentation of the facts.

BLANKET TRAINING MICHELLE DUGGAR - SHINY HAPPY PEOPLE LIES
Shiny Happy People did many lies and misrepresentations, but one of the blatant skewed narratives was the one suggesting that Michelle Duggar abused her little babies by using a blanket training method.
Blanket training was portrayed as hitting little babies when they reach for their toys. That is a complete misrepresentation with the goal of slandering Michelle Duggar and all the moms who use this wonderful and effective method to teach their children how to sit quietly and play independently for a certain period of time.
Just more lies and misrepresentations by Shiny Happy People to hurt the Duggar family.

SHINY HAPPY PEOPLE's LARA SMITH FALSE NARRATIVES PART 4 - MAKEUP LIE & Spanking
Shiny Happy People interviewed Lara Smith who told lies and pushed forward misrepresentations in their docuseries, but she hasn't just told them in that program alone.
Lara has gone on numerous other social media platforms spreading lies and false narratives for several years. This video exposes just another lie about how she claimed that girls at IBLP training centers were not allowed to wear makeup or fix their hair.
BUT, why does Lara lie so much? What may have been part of the reason for her compulsive habit of telling lies? Sometimes there may be a reason even though it is not an excuse.
There may be a clue in the consistent accusation she has made about her upbringing involving the inappropriate overuse of corporal punishment.

SHINY HAPPY PEOPLE LARA SMITH LIES - PART 3 - Duggar, Gothard, IBLP
Lara Smith of Shiny Happy People lies again in another interview about the ALERT Academy. This lie is so bold-faced and blatant that there can be no mistake that she is purposefully misrepresenting the organization to damage Bill Gothard, IBLP and the Duggar family.
See parts 1 and 2 before viewing this video to get a clear picture of how Lara tells false stories to get attention and to push forward false narratives much like the Amazon Prime hit piece docuseries did throughout.

SHINY HAPPY PEOPLE LIE DISCOVERED - RAMPANT SA AT TRAINING CENTERS? Duggar Family Secrets
New information has been discovered that shows Lara Smith lied in her interview with Shiny Happy People producers about the circumstances of an incident she claimed was a sexual assault against her will at the IBLP Indianapolis training center. She used a fallacious account in Shiny Happy People to push forward the false narrative the producers were already wanting to present that "...s*xual assault at (IBLP) training centers within the institute under Bill Gothard was very real and rampant".
But, in a conflicting account of this tale, Lara tells a completely different scenario of the circumstances which sheds a wholly reversed light on what was really going on and how she was a part of the s*xual behavior - a fully willing participant and was even a part of the planning of the man coming to the room on a regular basis.
As with most of the stories in the fake docuseries, lies and misrepresentations flow throughout creating false narratives and slanderous accusations against the three targets of the program being the Duggar family, the Institute in Basic Life Principles, and Bill Gothard in order to damage the reputation of Christians and homeschoolers generally.

DID SHINY HAPPY PEOPLE SLANDER YOU? Duggar Family Secrets SLANDERS MILLIONS!
Shiny Happy People - Duggar Family Secrets, the 2023 Amazon Prime production slandered millions of people by suggesting that those involved in IBLP or their homeschool program ATI were raising little predators.
Not only did they slander all those who were followers of the Institute in Basic Life Principles, including all the Duggar boys who had no connection to SA whatsoever, but also all the mothers and sons who participated and labeled all the daughters as victims.
In this video, you will see the evidence of how to producers clipped videos and interviews to make it seem that SA within IBLP families was a normal thing and how we should all assume people who follow IBLP teachings are willingly and regularly participating in inc*stual behavior.

JIMBOB DUGGAR CULT DAD DEBUNKED! Shiny Happy People Lies Continue - Duggar, IBLP, Gothard
Shiny Happy People attacked the Duggar family in many ways, but part of the slander against them and all those who attended or participated in the Institute in Basic Life Principles was the claim that all fathers became cult leaders in their own homes.
This video goes step by step looking at the aspects of a cult, and whether or not Bill Gothard taught fathers to treat their families as their own personal cults.
The lies and misrepresentations are rampant online as disgruntled people choose to jump on the bandwagon touting the false narratives about the Duggar family, IBLP and it's founder, Bill Gothard.

There are so many misrepresentations and lies in the hit piece docuseries, Shiny Happy People, but the idea that the Duggar family was in a cult is one of the worst and most slanderous about their family specifically.
Not only does this accusation slander their family, but all the families and parents across the world who have in the past and do currently participate in IBLP. Is it REALLY a cult?
This video will give insight into what the word "cult" means and go step by step evaluating each characteristic to see if IBLP falls under that ominous category.

SHINY HAPPY PEOPLE - FAKE ABUSE STORIES PART 5 - Emily Elizabeth Anderson - IBLP, Duggars, Gothard
This video is the last of a 5-part series exposing the misrepresentations and lies of a Shiny Happy People interviewee named Emily Elizabeth Anderson who continues to tour online podcasts making claims of sexual abuse against her father and Bill Gothard, former leader of the Institute in Basic Life Principles, the Christian sect that the Duggar family has followed for many years.
In this episode, Emily claims that Bill Gothard told her to write a letter of gratitude to her father for molesting her. Not only is this a completely outlandish claim, but it cannot be true because Emily had not told the tale that her father sexually abused her until after her interactions with Mr. Gothard were done. He was never informed of her claims of SA by her father either by her or by her mother.
The lure of online accolades, sympathy and a persona of being a victim who has overcome great adversity has overtaken Emily's life to the point that her entire identity is now wrapped up in the false abuse stories she has told for several years. And the internet public, podcast hosts, and other victims of the myth of repressed memories, as well as SA advocates continue to believe her claims without any investigation or scrutiny only further fueling the fire of slanderous and dishonest behavior.
This series exposes the truth and calls for her and others who have made false claims to begin to realize they need to come clean. And, that claiming abuse when it is not true belittles the real abuse real victims suffer at the hands of real perpetrators in addition to harming innocent people.

SHINY HAPPY PEOPLE - FALSE JANE DOE STORY PART 4- Emily Anderson - IBLP, Gothard, Duggars
This video is part FOUR in a 5-part series exposing the misrepresentations and lies of a Shiny Happy People interviewee named Emily Anderson who continues to tour online podcasts making claims of sexual abuse against her father and Bill Gothard, former leader of the Institute in Basic Life Principles, the Christian sect that the Duggar family has followed for many years.
In this episode, Emily lies about her claim for the need to have Jane Doe status in the lawsuit against IBLP and Bill Gothard, and she also lies about why she decided to reveal her identity to the public.
This episode also shows why the claims of abuse in Bill's office are not logistically reasonable to believe considering the open atmosphere of his office at IBLP HQ and the idea that workers would not be there at a late hour.
This series exposes the truth and calls for her and others who have made false claims to begin to realize they need to come clean. And, that claiming abuse when it is not true belittles the real abuse real victims suffer at the hands of real perpetrators in addition to harming innocent people.

SHINY HAPPY PEOPLE - JEALOUSY FUELS MORE SLANDER Part 3 - Emily Anderson, IBLP, Gothard, Duggars
This video is part three of a 5-part series exposing the misrepresentations and lies of a Shiny Happy People interviewee named Emily Anderson who continues to tour online podcasts making claims of sexual abuse against her father and Bill Gothard, former leader of the Institute in Basic Life Principles, the Christian sect that the Duggar family has followed for many years.
In this episode, Emily makes clear that she was jealous of the attention Mr. Gothard gave to other young people and this made her feel betrayed. Paired with the anger and resentment she had against her father who she believed was inattentive and distant, she began to think more and more about how these relationships made her feel and her anger grew.
She read one account of alleged misconduct written by a disgruntled ex-IBLP participant who claimed Gothard had sexually harassed her. The result was a quick progression from gratitude and appreciation for his generosity and help, to a jealousy and anger toward him because he had made another young lady feel special too.
All this lead to her own allegations of SA by both her father and Bill Gothard.
This series exposes the truth and calls for her and others who have made false claims to begin to realize they need to come clean. And, that claiming abuse when it is not true belittles the real abuse real victims suffer at the hands of real perpetrators in addition to harming innocent people.

SHINY HAPPY PEOPLE Part 2 - Interviewee Spreads More False Stories of Abuse - Duggar, IBLP, Gothard
This video is part two of a 5-part series exposing the misrepresentations and lies of a Shiny Happy People interviewee named Emily Anderson who continues to tour online podcasts making claims of sexual abuse against her father and Bill Gothard, former leader of the Institute in Basic Life Principles, the Christian sect that the Duggar family has followed for many years.
Her claims about her father are never clarified or specific in public, but privately it has been clear that what she alleges happened to her at the hands of her father is not at all sexual abuse. Yet, she uses the identity of SA victim to fuel her online persona and business as well as to receive the adulation of internet viewers who do not have access to the real story behind the scenes.
This series explores why Emily would make such claims and what reasons she had to also claim Mr. Gothard abused her.
And calls for her and others who have made false claims to begin to realize they need to come clean and tell the truth. And, that claiming abuse when it is not true belittles the real abuse real victims suffer at the hands of real perpetrators in addition to harming innocent people.

False Abuse Accusations from SHINY HAPPY PEOPLE Interviewee PART 1 - Duggar, Bill Gothard and IBLP
This is the first in a five-part series chronicling the claims of sexual abuse proclaimed by one of the interviewees featured in the hit docuseries SHINY HAPPY PEOPLE and showing the background behind her motivation to identify as a victim.
SHINY HAPPY PEOPLE was a propaganda piece created to attack Christians and homeschoolers by targeting the Duggar family, the Institute in Basic Life Principles (IBLP) and it's founder, Bill Gothard.
Teaming up with a slanderous website to gain access to disgruntled IBLP participants, the Amazon Prime team found numerous people to give testimony of alleged abuses and then embellished these with clever editing.
All was done to damage the reputation of the three targets while linking them to sexual abuse scandals and in turn claiming fundamental Christians and homeschoolers raise abusive predators.
This series will focus on one of several specific people who have gone on internet tours of podcasts and created blogs and businesses using their alleged victimhood as fuel to gain followers and claim expertise in the area of sexual abuse and domestic violence.
But, when a little investigating is done, a few questions are asked, some interviews with people involved, and a look at public court documents, a new picture emerges that doesn't look at all like the one this interviewee hopes the public will see. The truth will reveal a facade created to fashion an online persona that is far from reality.

Duggars Spank Wives and Older Daughters? More SHINY HAPPY PEOPLE False Claims!
One of the most outlandish and slanderous claims made in SHINY HAPPY PEOPLE was that the Duggars and other fundamental Christian homeschool families allow fathers to spank their wives and older daughters. The producers of this hit piece docuseries make false claims throughout the program trying to link abusive practices to Christians and homeschoolers, but this is one of the worst.
Tia Levings is a woman who grew up in a family that practiced this kind of abuse and claims this is the way all fundamentalists behave. Is that true?

Shiny Happy People - TWO UNBELIEVABLE STORIES! - Duggar, IBLP & Gothard
Some of the stories told in Shiny Happy People are clearly not true just by the logistics of what the interviewees said in their own words. Lara Smith is a woman who claimed two separate stories --- one of continual sexual abuse by Bill Gothard while riding in vans to different locations, and another of an alleged sexual assault by a male staff member at the Institute in Basic Life Principles training centers.
Yet a simple thinking through of what she claimed shows it cannot have happened as she tells it.
AND - a picture from 50 years ago continues to surface and is used by Shiny Happy People and many others to suggest Bill Gothard was a predatory cult leader. The true origin of this picture tells a much different story.

Shiny Happy People - HOLDING HANDS IS ABUSE? - Duggars, IBLP, Gothard
Is holding hands while praying abuse? According to Amazon Prime's hit piece docuseries Shiny Happy People, the answer is yes. That's what is described by Lindsey Williams and is trumpeted as an example of the abuses suffered by victims of Bill Gothard, IBLP and the Duggar family as they are slandered in this docuseries to further the purpose of harming the reputation of Christians and homeschoolers.
But all it takes is a simple look at the facts presented in the story to see that this is not abuse at all.

Shiny Happy People EDIT INTERVIEW TO CREATE FALSE NARRATIVE! Duggars & Holts FRIENDS AGAIN?
Duggar family & Holt family interactions...Sometimes it is the order of interview clips that can make a story look very different than it actually is and that is another tactic used in Amazon Prime's hit piece docuseries Shiny Happy People to slander the Duggar family.
Jim & Bobye Holt's interview was clipped and edited to make it look like they were accusing the Duggars of doing nothing about Josh Duggar's behavior. But that's not what they were saying at all.

CABIN STORY LIE - Shiny Happy People, Gothard, IBLP & Duggars
A clearly false gossip filled story about Bill Gothard of the Institute in Basic Life Principles has been spread around the media and on the internet all by people who have an agenda to bring down IBLP and Gothard by any means possible.
This "cabin story" was mentioned again in Shiny Happy People, the hit piece docuseries on Amazon Prime, to bolster a narrative that Bill Gothard is a sexual predator. With the help of Brooke Arnold, Joshua Pease and even John Cornish and Kari Underwood of the slanderous website Recovering Grace, more lies are spread. And what's worse, the latter two know the story has no credibility but refuse to take it off their website.
Shiny Happy People allowed the slander, of course, because it fit their narrative.

JOSH DUGGAR INNOCENT - Shiny Happy People Docuseries Spreads False Story
With all the problems and allegations that are either true or still in dispute against Joshua Duggar, why would Shiny Happy People feel it is necessary to push forward a clearly false story about sexual misconduct?
In the hit piece docuseries, the producers must have decided truth was beside the point - telling one false story after another and making claims of all kinds to slander the Duggar family, IBLP (Institute in Basic Life Principles, and Bill Gothard. Even things that are a matter of court record weren't safe from the propaganda machine that was the SHP program.

Shiny Happy People Falsely Claims Bill Gothard is Rich?
Shiny Happy People, the docuseries hit piece on Amazon Prime Video that used the fame and interest in the public of the Duggar family to gain viewers, claimed that Bill Gothard and his family were living "incredibly extravagantly off IBLP money". Also, that the seminar fees at IBLP (Institute in Basic Life Principles) and ATI homeschool materials (Advanced Training Institute) were extremely expensive.
Again, all false narratives designed to paint the Duggar family, IBLP and Bill Gothard as hypocrites and greedy manipulators all in an effort to slander Christians and homeschoolers. In this video, it is revealed how they used photographs and wording to create these completely false narratives.

Shiny Happy People Lies Continue with Brooke Arnold PART 1 - IBLP, Gothard
One of the main characters in Shiny Happy People, Duggar Family Secrets docuseries hit piece on Amazon Prime was Brooke Arnold. Her stories are full of misrepresentations and lies that are easily discovered with little digging.
Did the producers really look into the claims she made or did they just take her word for it in everything she said? OR, did they purposefully allow these lies and misrepresentations to air because they fit their agenda of slamming Christianity and homeschooling by using IBLP, Gothard and Duggar family slander to feed their narrative?
That is unknown, but it is for sure that Brooke Arnold is telling things that are simply untrue in her interview in Shiny Happy People and elsewhere when she gives her account on other venues.

Holt Reconciliations - Duggars, IBLP, Gothard & Shiny Happy People
Jim & Bobye Holt are the friends you'd never want considering their behavior on Shiny Happy People, a hit piece docuseries aimed at attacking the famous Duggar family of TLC's 19 Kids & Counting TV Show, and in association, the Institute in Basic Life Principles and it's founder, Bill Gothard. (Attacking these entities with the main goal to slander Christianity and homeschooling generally.)
The Holts were interviewed by the producers of SHP and seemed to make it their mission to bash their former friends. But why? What good did they believe would come of doing this to the Duggars?
Between the time they were interviewed and the release of SHP, the Holt family imploded --- which isn't surprising considering their lack of propriety and loyalty to those outside their family who they claimed at one time to love. Once it is revealed that one's character includes bashing former friends publicly, trust is broken in all relationships one has to some degree.
Is Bobye Holt doing the right thing now? Will their family reconcile for good and will they apologize to the Duggars for their slanderous interview?

Shiny Happy People MIS-Leading Man - Duggar Family, IBLP, Gothard Slander
Joshua Pease is one of the main players in creating the false narrative of a "pandemic of abuse" in the fundamentalist Christian, homeschool community and in the Institute in Basic Life Principles alleged in the Amazon docuseries Shiny Happy People. He suggests again and again that the behavior of the oldest Duggar son having inappropriately touched his younger sisters and his conviction for downloading child pornography is due to the culture in the Christian fundamentalist homeschool movement lead by IBLP and Bill Gothard.
He makes several claims in SHP as well as in articles and interviews where he continually pushes this false narrative into the public. There is no denying there are abuses in the Christian world as well as in any group or organization that has millions of participants. Human beings do evil things. That is true.
But Joshua Pease continually blames evangelicals and fundamentalists... which he doesn't commonly define, as the reasons for the abuses suffered by victims. He lays the blame at the feet of innocent parties pushing the idea that all fundamental Christians train up their children to be abusers.
This is a damaging and false narrative. A lie in other words. And there is no evidence to show there is more abuse within the Christian community than in any other group or organization on earth.
He also uses false claims by a plaintiff in the failed repressed memories lawsuit against IBLP and Gothard as well as unsubstantiated claims that a woman is abused because of IBLP, another is infertile because of IBLP and another died of cancer because of IBLP.
In SHP he suggests a claim that has been shown to be false and was dropped in court is true. All this is discussed in this video.

Shiny SLANDER Trailer - Duggar Family, IBLP, Gothard Shiny Happy People Lies Exposed
It's time false narratives as were shown in Shiny Happy People about Christian ministries such as IBLP, homeschooling and other Christian organizations are exposed. Shiny Happy People did a very effective job in convincing the public that fundamentalist and evangelical Christians such as the Duggar Family were all abusive pedophiles raising children up in ways that would take over the world by force by pushing their horrifying and degrading belief system into the minds of innocent vulnerable children. And all this was lead by an evil overseer named Bill Gothard.
Here are two links about the documentary in the works.

Now, this narrative has spread far and wide and people no longer even question the accusations at all. Even other Christians have jumped on the bandwagon without any scrutiny of these claims. But, what if a huge part of what has been presented is untrue?
Holly McLean is not a follower of Bill Gothard, IBLP and is not associated with the Duggar family at all. She has been investigating the claims in Shiny Happy People and has found shocking misrepresentations, false narratives and lies. SO much has been hidden from the public!
A new documentary is in process to expose much of the information that has been found and it will be discussed here as well.
Most channels that talk about Christian ministries only consider the worst and never consider that some of the allegations being put out in the public might actually be lies. All accusers are immediately believed regardless of how unrealistic or fantastic their stories may be.
This channel is here to show the other side of the story. Looking at the actual stories and claims and asking questions. It is not suggesting that no abuses take place in the Christian world because abuses take place in all organizations including schools, workplaces, sports organizations, government, etc. That's just a sad fact of life.
But, it is saying every claim should not be believed on it's surface. There needs to be evidence to back it up and the story needs to make logical sense before it is spread far and wide and believed by masses of people who then use it to destroy ministries.

Amy King's Cynicism Toward Her Own Extended Family
In Shiny Happy People, Amy King, cousin of the famous Duggar family, gives an interview that bashes her uncle & aunt, their family, IBLP (Institute in Basic Life Principles) and Bill Gothard. The question is, why did Amy decide to speak to producers and others in negative ways about her extended family? What did she gain from it and what good outcome did she expect from doing this?
Was it all for attention? Did she gain financially in some way? Amy's cynical attitude set the stage for the entire Shiny Happy People narrative and the agenda of the producers of the docuseries to slander IBLP, Gothard and her own family who loved her throughout her life.
Her comment at the beginning of SHP is discussed here along with commentary asking what her motive could have been to hurt her family so deeply in this way and so publicly.
