1910 - "A Run With The Exmoor Staghounds" in Kinemacolor
"A Run with the Exmoor Staghounds", filmed probably in 1910 in Kinemacolor in Exmoor, Somerset. The practice of hunting stags has since been outlawed. Although the year of this film is sometimes given as 1911, I found advertisements from this film from late 1910. Charles Urban, the main man behind the commercial life of Kinemacolor, was an avid huntsman. In 1904 Urban produced a black and white film titled "Hunting the Red Deer with the Devon and Somerset Staghounds", presumably the inspiration for this film.

"Hunting with Bloodhounds & The Cranwell Bloodhounds"
The Cranwell Bloodhounds were formed in 1992 by Joint Masters the late Philip Broughton and his wife Wendy to hunt the ‘clean boot’ that is, the natural scent of man, in this case, a cross country runner.
The quarry is given about 20-minute head start before each hunt, which is referred to as a line, no trail is put down or dragged, no artificial scent used, just the pure natural smell of the cross country runner.
A private pack, the Cranwell Bloodhounds, enjoy about twenty days of hunting each season, normally meeting around midday on a Sunday. After the first two lines, they enjoy the hospitality of the Hunt’s Masters, before continuing, with a late afternoon finish.
A meet can attract over 40 on horseback and a similar number of car followers, confirming the Cranwell Bloodhounds as the popular, warm, and welcoming hunt for which it has become known.
"Lake Garda, Italy" (1910) Kinemacolor
"Lake Garda, Italy", made in original color by the Kinemacolor process.
This color film was made of Lake Garda in Northern Italy by the Natural Color Kinematograph Company in 1910. It was probably filmed in Autumn 1910, when it was first advertised, as indicated by the trees and landscape. Back then, the northern tip of Lake Garda belonged to Austria-Hungary. Many of the buildings shown still stand today. This footage was color corrected. The order of the clips was also corrected so that the journey of the camera operator makes somewhat sense.

"The Secret History of the British Garden" (2015) Part 1: 17th-century
Monty Don explores the fascinating history and evolution of the British garden, from the seventeenth century through to the modern day. For Monty gardens are every bit as important as the buildings we live and work in and he sets out to show how we can learn as much about ourselves from them.NL
British gardening enthusiast Monty Don believes that gardens can tell as much about the history of the people and places as the built environment can, especially if one digs a little deeper in uncovering the secrets behind their development. In wanting to discover such for his homeland, Monty goes on a metaphorical journey through time - chronologically from the seventeenth to twentieth centuries - and literal journey in wanting to understand the history of Britain through its gardens.

"Colonial Herb & Bulb Garden Plans & a Colonial Tea Party" (23Jan2020)
In Part 1 of this video I am starting, (from scratch) a new Colonial Herb and Bulb Garden. In the second part of this video, we will trace the History of tea in Colonial America, set a beautiful Early American Tea table and test out 3 of the teas that were dumped in Boston Harbor in 1773 during the Boston Tea party.
A correction: John Adams and Samuel Adams were cousins, not brothers.
I have linked some of the teas and artwork here:
"Solstice Tea Traders; "Boston tea Party Sampler" https://www.amazon.com
Oliver Pluff historic tea: www.oliverpluff.com
"America!" Limited edition art Print: https://www.jerilanders.com/art
The Teacups and Saucers are made by Johnson Brothers of England, " Colonial Overhang"
The books can be purchased on Amazon as used books, I see many available:
