Delicious Baklawa Recipe
Ingredients
•1/2 cup melted butter
•1 packet filo pastry
•A long wooden screwer
Walnut Filling
•1 and 1/2 cup whole walnuts
•2 tbsp granulated sugar
•1 tsp cinnamon powder
•1 tsp cardamom powder
Sugar Syrup
•2 cups sugar
•1 cup water
•1/4 cup honey
•1 cinnamon stick
•2-3 green cardamom
Recipe
For the walnut filling blitz walnuts in a food processor until course crumbs. Add sugar, cinnamon powder, cardamom powder and mix it and set aside.
•Pre heat oven to 200 degrees, Grease a baking tray with melted butter and set aside
•We will use 2 filo sheets per roll. On a clean surface, place one filo pastry sheet. Brush it with melted butter and place another sheet over it again brush with butter, especially brush the top end to secure the roll.
•Now place a thin layer of walnut mixture on the pastry sheet, with the help of long wooden screwer or stick start rolling the sheet as tightly as possible .
•If you want this simple cylindrical shape of Baklawa just slide the wooden stick out and place this roll in a greased baking tray.
• If you want fancy crinkled baklawa, then before sliding the wooden stick out place one hand on each side of the roll and gently and tightly push the roll towards the center to give it some crinkles. Gently slide out the wooden stick and place this crinkled roll in a greased baking tray.Repeat the process with remaining pastry sheets
•Generously brush all the rolls with melted butter , then cut the rolls and bake in the pre heated oven for 40-45 minutes or until beautiful golden , nice and crisp.
•For the sugar syrup, take a sauce pan add all the syrup ingredients and bring it to full boil until sugar is dissolved
•When Baklawa is done remove the tray from the oven and pour the warm syrup on immediately.
•Garnish with extra walnut mixture and serve hot or room temperature.

Here's what you'll need:
For the Filling:
500g ground beef
2 tbsp tomato paste mixed with 1/4 cup water
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 tbsp garlic paste
1/4 cup oil
Salt to taste
Spices: 1/4 tsp turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp coriander powder, 1 tsp cumin powder, 1/2 tsp black pepper powder, 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper powder
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
For the Dough:
1 pack of phyllo dough (like gulash)
2 eggs
1 cup milk
3/4 cup melted butter or ghee
Instructions:
Cook the Filling: Heat oil, brown the ground beef, add onion and garlic, then spices. Mix in tomato paste mixture and cook until beef is done. Remove from heat and stir in parsley.
Prepare the Dough: Grease a baking dish with melted butter. Whisk eggs, milk, and melted butter with salt and pepper.
Assemble the Borek: Layer 4 dipped phyllo sheets in the dish. Add the filling. Layer 4 more dipped phyllo sheets on top. Fold corners and add a final sheet. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
Bake and Enjoy: Preheat oven to 180°C. Bake the borek for 25-30 minutes until golden brown. Sprinkle with sesame and black seeds. Cut into squares and serve hot!
Pro Tip: Serve with yogurt sauce and a side salad for a complete meal.

These chicken avocado panini sandwiches are quick and delicious, perfect for any meal or school lunch. Made with cooked sliced chicken and harissa paste marinade, they're easy to whip up in minutes. Harissa paste, a Tunisian hot chili pepper paste, gives them a spicy kick along with flavors of roasted red peppers, garlic, and various spices. Feel free to customize with your preferred marinade for the chicken.
Ingredients:
8 slices bread (panini or sandwich)
2 avocados, sliced
2-3 chicken breasts, cooked & shredded
2 tsp harissa paste (or other marinade)
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup melted butter
1 tsp garlic paste
1 tbsp chopped parsley
Cheese slices
•Marinate chicken with salt and harissa paste for 10-15 minutes then cook the fillets in a pan on hob, bake in the oven or air fry them until cooked( I used air-fryer )
•When chicken is cooked slice or shred the fillets.
•In a melted butter add and mix garlic paste and parsley.
•Brush the 4 bread slices with melted garlic butter place over sliced avocados top with sliced chicken you can pour some sauce also on chicken I added some jalapeños for me.
•Place cheese slices over chicken and top with other slice of bread.
•At the end apply garlic butter on bread and transfer the sandwich in panini grill or toaster.
•Serve hot and enjoy 💞with potato fries and tomato ketchup.
Tip: Add jalapeños for extra heat ️
