This is a beginners guide to pull ups to help you increase your pull up strength and increase your pull up numbers. Pull ups are a calisthenics exercise that many people wish to learn how to do pull ups, they are a great exercise for strength and muscle building but they need strength to be able to do and most starting don't have it. This is why I have made this pull up progression for beginners video to help people know how to do your first pull up and beyond.
In this video I will share a 3 step guide to pull ups, how to learn the pull up and how to progress with pullups. 3 exercises will be used, the inverted row on rings, the banded pull up and the negative pull up or eccentric pullup. These 3 exercises used correctly will help a beginner learn the pull up fast. In this video I will show you how to do banded pull ups and how to do negative pull ups to maximise your results from these pull up variations. All 3 of these exercises will help the strength and technique to do pull ups and progress even further into chin ups to chest to bar pull ups. These exercise will help build a solid strength and stability foundation.
