an Indianapolis resident, was shot and killed by members of the Indiana State Police, as well as IMPD, after a high-risk traffic stop near the intersection of East 40th Street and North Keystone Avenue on the afternoon of Sept. 26, 2023. The law enforcement officers were a part of the Indiana Crime Guns Task Force.

On November 11, 2023, a significant amount of law enforcement personnel responded to an incident at the La Crosse Regional Airport in Wisconsin. Allegedly, an Idaho man breached the airport gate, proceeded to drive down the runway, and gained unauthorized access to an aircraft occupied by crew members.

on December 18, 2023, at 1:16 a.m., a South Traffic Division officer was investigating a crash on Imperial Highway and the off-ramp of the 110 Harbor Freeway off-ramp. As the officer was conducting the investigation, a vehicle traveling eastbound on Imperial Highway crashed into one of the disabled vehicles. The driver of the disabled vehicle along with a passenger and a friend, who arrived at-scene, were standing in the street. After the crash, the Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and treated the injured. One of the injured required further medical treatment and was transported to a local hospital. The other parties were treated at-scene.

Houston Police Department conducted a traffic stop of man in black sedan who refuses to step out of the vehicle.

On February 3, 2024, at 2:14 p.m., Central Division uniformed officers responded to a radio call of an “Assault with a Deadly Weapon,” at the 600 block of Towne Avenue. The comments of the call indicated the suspect was under the influence and armed with a stick threatening employees. When officers arrived at the location, they met with the Person Reporting (PR). The PR stated the suspect entered the business on the 4th floor of a warehouse, located at the 800 block of East 7th Street and told the PR to leave the location. The PR, who was in fear, left the business and contacted the police. The PR told the officers the suspect had access to sharp items and metal objects inside the business. The PR signed a Private Persons Arrest for Trespass and directed the officers to the 4th floor.

advised on Friday November 10th 2023 at about 10:30 p.m. uniformed officers were conducting a proactive Patrol officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of 16th Street and Mount Vernon Avenue the primary officer made contact with the driver of the vehicle.

At approximately 1:18 p.m., Austin 9-1-1 Communications received a call for service at 1501 East Howard Lane; a male caller stated, “there is a man with a rifle in the middle of the parking lot.” The caller further reported the man was shooting and he did not know what he was shooting at. The caller disconnected without providing additional information. At approximately 1:19 p.m., the Austin Police Department (APD) officers were dispatched to the "Gun Hot Shot" call.

On Wednesday, the Austin Police Department (APD) released body camera footage and police radio audio from a shooting on East Sixth Street in mid-December. Police say shortly before midnight on Dec. 16, officers assigned to the Sixth Street patrol area were approached by someone who said a person was trying to get inside a bar with a gun. APD said the officers arrived at the bar, located in the 200 block of East Sixth Street, and as they approached, a bar employee denied entry to the man trying to get in.

On January 19, 2024, at 12:14 p.m., Olympic Division uniformed patrol officers conducted a want/warrant check on a white Dodge pickup truck. The inquiry revealed that the vehicle was reported stolen earlier that day and that the victim had left a firearm inside the truck. Once officers obtained an additional unit, and an Air Unit was overhead, they attempted to conduct a High-Risk stop on the vehicle.

The Columbus Division of Police released body camera footage from the sergeant who was struck by a stolen vehicle on the city's north side on Wednesday. Police attempted to stop the vehicle, a Toyota Corolla they said was stolen out of Lancaster, but were unsuccessful. They decided to stop after a short period of following the vehicle.
