Every one of us loves our planet in some form or another. We try to protect it, keep it clean and care for it so it can be passed down to the next generation and so on and so on. Here in the UK, we recycle, we preserve green spaces, woodland, parks and arable land and we try to be as green as we can be, especially in our energy choices. But is it really green and does it really preserve? Let’s take a look.

Naturopathy is applying common sense to health and healing in its’ entirety, in mind, body and spirit. We can heal ourselves through natural factors such as diet, exercise, relaxation, fresh air, nature and meditation. However, we need to eliminate pollution in the air, herbicides and pesticides, chemicals, toxins, food additives and preservatives. Natural remedies with ancient wisdom can work alongside modern-day medicine to keep us all healthy and we should use our intuition to make positive decisions when it comes to our well-being. By going ‘Back to Basics’ we can move into the future.

Local councils find it difficult to communicate between departments and even with their own colleagues. Why can’t countries, councils, departments and colleagues co-operate and communicate to make lives simpler, easier and less stressful for everyone? The recipe is a little bit of forward thinking outside the box, mixed with common sense and a spoonful of consideration. A little something that everyone can taste and enjoy.

The Benefits of Working From Home
There are many benefits to working from home. For some it may be difficult working from home if you live in a confined space or need physical contact from colleagues. Also, many professions cannot work from home, but there are many office workers who can. Why do employers insist on paying high rentals for office blocks when they don’t have to? Why do they demand office workers drive or commute into offices when it’s not necessary. Working from home can benefit many office workers and also employers and companies. It’s a win-win situation.

Hold Your Head Up
Having a good posture helps to prevent backache and neckache. Having a bad posture, especially one that develops in early life, can put strain on the vertebrae in our spine and lead to disease and illness in later life. This can be made worse if we do a job where we sit for hours at a desk or are hunched over. When we find ourselves slumped over, we can be mindful of the Alexander Technique and sit up straight. Let's take a look.

People - Solid as a Rock
The world’s greatest asset isn’t money, gold, oil or diamonds – it’s people. People have a right to decide their future, a way of life that best suits them and also to think for themselves deciding what is best for them. People can live together in peace and harmony. People of all beliefs and faiths can co-exist happily together with respect for one another. You might say that is not possible, but it is possible and it does exist. It exists in the relatively small but harmonious country of Gibraltar.

In this video I would like to show that we all have a reason and purpose to be alive. There is a bigger picture and we all have a role to play and a purpose for being here. Living in a world where we are manipulated and punished for being different, we can learn to heal ourselves, shine our light to heal others and unite together whilst forgiving and accepting the differences between us. Nobody said it would be easy, but we volunteered for the mission and we will find the strength in our hearts to succeed and complete it.

Leading Horses to Water
“You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make it drink”, is a saying that is very true. As much as we want to help people, there are some people that do not want help. This is especially true of addictions. Everyone is free to make their own decisions and own choices in life and also find their own paths to sobriety and healing. We can lead horses to water but it’s their choice to drink or not.

Homelessness - Finally, There is a Solution
Congratulations Finland. They have found a way to end homelessness and it’s amazing. Homeless people are given a permanent home, not a temporary one. It helps with mental health straight away allowing them to feel safe and secure. They have somewhere they can call home surrounded by their belongings. They can then take the opportunity of support to help them with addictions, to help them with overcoming their trauma and PTSD and to help them find a job. Finally, there is a solution to homelessness. We just have to implement it in the UK and hopefully other countries will follow suit.
