On a 25MPH residential street in Manassas Virginia this driver was just too impatient and met Karma up close and personal...

The D.C. / Federal Prison at Lorton Virginia consisted of many hundreds of acres and numerous different compounds. This is the Maximum Security Compound on Silverbrook Rd in Lorton VA. It was closed in 2001 and has since been converted to the "Liberty Crest Apartments." They preserved the architecture but this video was shot in August of 2015 before that conversion/construction began.

My son reeled in a keeper Striped Bass and then had to reel it in again!

This is where all those delicious Chesapeake Blue Crabs come from. They're fished by the Watermen of the Chesapeake Bay and her tributaries. This is Mr. Milton Conrad returning to Greenvale Creek on July 25th after fishing his crab pots in the Rappahannock River.

Anxious to try out the new (to me) Mavic Pro I shot video from the mouth of Greenvale Creek on the Rappahannock River to the Public Boat Landing at Thomas Landing Rd in the Northern Neck of Virginia.

Some folks find it hard to believe that I'm able to photograph dolphins in the Rappahannock River. Well... Here's the proof. Every summer the dolphins come up the river in great numbers. They usually come into the river in the early morning and go back to the Chesapeake Bay in the late morning or early afternoon. I was able to get a short video of these three (mom, dad & calf) as they crossed the entrance to Greenvale Creek on their way back to the Chesapeake Bay on 8 June, 2017. This is practically in my backyard!

I finally got to fly my drone from the boat... My son piloted the boat while I flew the drone and we got some video and pictures. This is the real reason that I got the drone in the first place!

I tried uploading a 360° video but apparently Rumble can’t accommodate that yet so I’ve edited it down to a 2D version… On 12/13/2020 I was trolling on the Rappahannock River between Buoy #8 and #10 in about 35' of water when BOTH lines went down almost simultaneously! I picked up the line on the starboard side and figured it was probably a small fish. I then moved to the port side and was certain I had a "keeper." Sure enough... It was a 27" Striped Bass! I released the second fish (about 18") and headed back to the dock. Pardon the background chatter... I was listening to a podcast on barrel aging beer.

With the permission of the owner, I flew my Mavic around a local Bison Farm in the Northern Neck of Virginia. There are 5 calves in the video... They're small and light reddish in colour. Can you tell which are the bulls? Hint: Female bison have horns too.
