All right, so if some of you guys might be remembering some of these questions from last week, well, that was because we didn't get to all the questions. I think we did one question last week.
But it was great, because it was a great conversation. It actually wasn't just about that one question either. All right, so I thought this was kind of a cool question. I've thought about this before, but I don't know what the answer would be. If two Jeeps crash into each other on the trail ride or while rock crawling, who pays for the damage?
- I've always been told the guy going uphill has the right of way.
Because it's easier to roll downhill than it is to go uphill. So if two Jeeps are coming face to face and one guy's going up, you got to get out of his way and just be courteous and know that he's having the hardest time. So don't be a D-bab. - Well, I mean, that might keep the accident from occurring, but what if the accident does occur? That might be a way of establishing who's at fault.
- Yeah, I don't know. - Might be a solution from the Discord channel. I would say whoever's got the most trail cams to catch the footage.
(laughing) - This is Larry's fault. - Oh my God.
- This is Matt from North Carolina. He's both have steel bumpers, so it shouldn't matter.
- This is Larry from St. Louis. I would say it just depends on how much damage we're talking about. You guys bump each other on the trail, then you just go about your own way. We talk about you really destroyed somebody's Jeep because you were being an a-hole on a trail. That's all yours.
- Right, but how do you establish fault? How do you establish who's going to be paying? I mean, there's a possibility that there's the person doesn't even have liability insurance for an off-road only vehicle. They should, but there's always a possibility they don't have that. - Well, an off-road, you don't have to have a street legal vehicle out there on the trail. So there's Jeeps 24-7 where we are in URE. There's Jeeps that are not legal on the road, but they're on the trail. I was actually with Matt a few weekends back. We're going up backside of Diggy Bell, I believe, and we're in a traffic jam, and there's Jeeps coming down above me on not so much a trail, but above me to my driver's side, and I'm just watching this guy, and I'm like, he's going to roll over on me. It's just going to roll down into my Jeep. Nothing happened, it didn't, but at that point, I'm sitting still just waiting for traffic. They decided to go around every which direction, and yeah, I do have dashcams. I have everything set up. I was sitting still, but it would have been on him. I've also seen side by side jump on top of the Jeep in URE, just literally being jackass idiots roll over on top of the Jeep. - Sounds like a good old ass and an ass-flustered man. - Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Whoever's the better fighter. - Yeah, for fun's sake, just beat the fist out of him. I mean, you might lose, but you might win. - Right, so it's in situations, it's life. Had that Jeep rolled over on me on that point? Yeah, he would have been at fault.
Just don't be an idiot. Chuck was saying, you see the trail, the trails are marked. If you're going around or you're doing something stupid, it's going to be on you for doing something stupid. - How do you establish that though? If they do have insurance, how do you establish that they're going to pay? I mean, it's not like you can call the police to come out there and write a report.

We're going to start off discussing our first Empower Hour. So found out that some of the feedback from the first one, which we all had a great time at, was that some of the men did not like us talking about going to the bathroom on the trails.
For anyone that's been on on Tuesday nights, for the roundtable there with the boys, it tends to be a lot of potty.
So why is it okay for men to talk about going to the bathroom, but it's not okay for women to go to the bathroom? Are we supposed to wear diapers?
Women don't poop. That's why women don't poop. We pee in private.
And we don't fart. Right.
That's not ladylike. Me too.
Nobody ever told my six-year-old that because that's the first thing she does when she wakes up in the morning, literally aims it at you and farts in your direction.
Lisa's kind of girl. Lisa had a daughter that would be her.

So I watched the show the other day. I've watched it several times where I'm watching on the big screen in my bedroom and Lisa talking about it and I was hysterical. Like I could not stop giggling. I called her. I'm like that old line does a bear shit in the woods has now changed us to does Lisa shit in the woods and the answer. So question would be yes.
So Lisa, you're now famous. We now have a new tagline for you. Hey when nature calls you got to take care of it just because I'm a female doesn't mean I can't go to the bathroom in the woods. I just you know, it's just we have to take a couple extra steps or processes outside of guys. If I could go as easy as guys in the bathroom, it would be great, but I can't so I do what I need to do and you know, I dealt with this stuff in the military. It's just kind of all your female you're not you shouldn't be doing this and that and the other look I have to poop. I pee you poop you pee you fart I fart you sneeze whatever, you know.
Grow up your burp. You burp. Yeah, I burp. Yeah, she's good at that. She's like a human beatbox.
No, not that much.
Cough cough. So I just need to get that out there that women do the same things that men do. It's just men don't like to hear about it, but we are the stronger species. We have more fun.
Yes, you know, and if you could I could do it girl could do it. That's what this empower hours all about.

So we're going to keep it clean first question. If you were to go camping, do you sleep in a tent? Do you have a camper? Do you sleep in your Jeep or you have a rooftop tent or are you way camping is just not for you and you got to go the the Princess Way and hotel it.

I don't do a tent. I do a little scam.
That's my preference for camping.

Lisa. Okay, I prefer tent camping.
I'm I have a tent that I can just pack up and throw in the back of my Jeep. I have a cot just because I have a sleeping bag. I throw on top of the cot, you know, it's just easy to throw in the back of my Jeep get to my site and depending on where I'm going and how long I'm going to be there. Basically, I may throw my 10 by 10 canopy in there too, just so I have what I need, but I don't really need the canopy. But I have a little two-person tent that does great and it holds up pretty doggone good about two months ago. We saw that with the hellosius winds that we had at Roush Creek where my tent was, you know, kind of that way and I was inside of it.
But yeah, I have I prefer tent camping. I like camper tamping.
Thank you air conditioning. I could snuggle with the puppies and have the air conditioning, but it's not required.
I just think it's easier and simpler to and I don't hate on people that glamp or hotel it. My thing is I don't mind a tent and I really do like it. It's fun and enjoyable.

Avengers Are Back!
I think this is that. Why it's not being sold in the U.S. right now, I think is well, because of the market, frankly, nobody wants to buy electric vehicles. Europe has small streets. Yeah, and make you small as cute as you want. I don't care if you add four wheel drive. Nobody wants an all electric vehicle. Not selling. And so I think that FCA or Stellantis rather kind of saw the writing on the wall here in the States and they said, yeah, this isn't going to be a winner there. So let's try this in Europe. Let's see how it does. If we if it just gets stellar sales, maybe we'll go ahead and add it to the U.S. lineup. I don't think we're going to see it here. So check this out. Yeah. So check this out. The Jeep gets four wheel drive and a lifted suspension. But, you know, they don't say what the lift is. I'm guessing about three quarters of an inch. If you're looking at the picture that we're looking at, it's it. It looks like it has a similar stance to like a Renegade track trailhawk. You know, you get exactly a bit of a boost and maybe one size bigger tires. If that you got my get some traction. Yeah, it looks a lot like a Grand Cherokee to me, but you're right. It probably is really small. Oh, by the way, I don't know if you're aware of this or not, but the Renegade was very popular in on the circuses. The clowns really liked it. This looks like a clown car. I was going to say to your grand, your grand Cherokee. If you were to take a grand Cherokee, drop it into dry ice and chop it in half. That's kind of what you get here. It's a shrunken down smaller version of a grand.
So probably without half the bells and whistles. So the Avenger four by E. Yes, it's a four by E. It has a tiny one point two liter gasoline engine fitted with a with a mild hybrid technology. It's a three cylinder turbo. Who could God this sounds like a great motor, not a motorcycle on a lawnmower that develops one hundred and thirty six horsepower, which isn't bad. I mean, that's that's Jeep four point. Oh, no, it's bad.
I mean, the last three cylinder car that we had here in the States, I think, was the Geo Metro. And that was one of the cylinders was dead, right? That's you had to pay extra for that third cylinder. Yeah, I know only sometimes it worked. And I think that thing had like forty six horsepower. So I mean, it was just gutless. I actually owned one of the first wedding I ever DJed. I DJed out of a Geo Metro.
Well, once you get in there, it's hard to get out. I understand.
Look out all the seats except for the driver's seat. I'm a gear in the hard enough time, but not the stuff in the XJ. Yeah.
Anyway, the this.
It's one hundred and thirty six horsepower and routes the output of the wheels via six P'd dual clutch automatic transmission. What dual clutch automatic. OK, whatever. Joining the ice are two electric motors, one at the front of the vehicle and one at the rear, each developing 28 horsepower. Well, you don't need much to drive a milk crate down the road. I mean, top speed, one hundred and twenty one miles an hour. Yeah, yeah. OK, right. It speeds up to 19 miles an hour. The adventure four by always works in four by four mode with a 50 50 split between the two axles.
Up to 19 miles an hour.
OK. Yeah. From 19 to 56, it defaults to front wheel drive. Oh, yeah, because, you know, front wheel drive is wonderful. But the rear motor is always ready to intervene. Should the need arise faster than 56 miles an hour and the rear motor is disengaged to reduce fuel consumption.
Wait, I thought.
I thought the rear motor is electric. Yeah, it is. I guess it's a parasitic drag or.
That's what I'm like. I'm like, wait a minute here.
Where does the fuel consumption come in into an electric engine? Electric motor, especially one that is detached from the rest of the drive train up front and is in the back.
Maybe it ejects it figuring if you're going 56 miles an hour, we're going to dump some of some of the weight of the vehicle, improve miles per gallon. You just have to circle back and pick it up. You get all wheel drive up to 19 miles per hour because reasons. Yeah, I guess there's, you know, too many burnouts. They don't want you spinning the tires. You get a better acceleration, better launch. It's actually it's going to feel like the car is actually quicker than it really is. More traction and rain and snow, too, I'm sure.
I suppose for, you know, because, yeah, you're not going to be doing a whole lot more than 19 miles per hour when you're driving in ice or taking off in the rain.
Yeah, I don't know. It's I don't know how they come up with this stuff. But yeah, I just found the whole thing interesting, especially the the 1.2 liter engine.
So the again, it's not going to be sold in America, which is the majority of our audience. And you might say, why would you even talk about it on the show?

Stop Skinky Jeeps!
It's just, it's flooring. It's a flooring system. It's a replacement flooring system. It's a, it's not mats and it's certainly not carpet. Uh, it is, it's a, it's a TPO vinyl and it's basically TPO is just a very durosy of different various types of vinyls. Um, some of your floor mats that are popular, they're a TPU. So it's a thinner, it, it's, it fades quicker. It warps quicker. It stains terribly. Uh, and, and you get what you pay for. Those are mats. And one of the nicer features that we also wanted to design into armor light is that mat function that in that tread, the tread that you would have in weather mats that's integrated into the top of the, you don't have to have formats with this. It is a, yeah, it's both things. It replaces the carpet in any formats that you have.
Correct. So, so don't buy formats for it. Don't take your old formats and throw them on it. First of all, it's a very, it's a very nice, we're very proud of how it looks. And a lot of the compliments we get in the product reviews is how much nicer it makes the whole interior look. But it's also functionally just a lot easier, uh, and easier on your wallet because now you don't have to go buy floor mats. You just put this in, you've got that functionality integrated into the surface. It does two things. It manages the water to the drain plug. So when you get water in there off your boots or even a spill, it's going to guide the water through those channels to the drain plug and then out the bottom of the vehicle. And the other thing it gives you is what we call stiction. When you're off camber on a trail and you want to get in and out of your vehicle, you want to plant your foot and you want it to stay where you've planted it. So the, the, the, the surface that we have on that product will hold your foot in place, um, in almost any condition. And, and, and that's kind of important to all of us. I know you, I, I myself have an, on different floor surfaces in and out of a Jeep have slipped on the wrong kind of rocky condition. And it didn't feel very good cause of the way, you know, it depends on the position you're in, but there's a door sill there and you could hit that door. Are you okay? I know what you're talking about.
I forgot to mention this. So if you want to go to the website and look at this, uh, this product that we're talking about while you're listening to the interview, go to go armor, light.com. And I'm looking at the, uh, I probably should be looking at the JL or the JT, but I just happened to pull up the, uh, the, the one, the front flooring for the Wrangler TJ and, uh, it, and I want to make sure people understand this, this stuff, it's raised and, and lowered. So if you have fitted floor mats or you're aware of fitted formats, think of that, except it's the whole, it covers the whole floor. So it goes up several inches in the front, several inches on the side. So you would really have to try hard or go through a lot of water to get water underneath these things. And like you said, it's all channeled to go through the drain plugs, uh, which are, which are right there. Uh, and, uh, the, the other thing that, uh, that you guys might, might be interested in, and I think you, you brushed on this, we certainly talked about it before the interview is the heat reduction portion of this, uh, which is especially important, as you said, for like the 392.
Uh, but, and, and, and why is it, why does it knock down the heat? Did, did you guys do that on purpose, actually design it to keep the heat away from the passengers?
So, uh, when I mentioned that we spent so much time on the trail before we introduced our MRLA to get that kind of feedback from Jeepers, uh, and just wheelers in general, one of the top complaints was the heat, uh, especially in the old CJ's TJ's, right? Cause they're all running sheet metal and the Hemi swaps and the LA swaps and so on. And, and, and everyone's saying, can you do anything to knock this heat down? So we knew that that was one of our first engineering challenges. And I talked about polyester and the importance of polyester is a material that

Would You Sell Your Jeep?
I'm not a YouTube guy. I'm not a YouTube guy. Like literally Joel. No, I don't. I don't. I don't YouTube. I, I, if, if I need to go to the fix, I do, but I don't 24 seven watch it or go to it. It's not my go to. It's on the entertainment thing. What do you do? What do you watch for entertainment?
TV. I still have cable. I'm, I'm, I'm still on cable. I do that. I'll go to, I work on social media currently. So that's my social media go to, uh, not YouTube, but just whether it be Facebook or Tik TOK or Instagram or everything you're posting on Tony. I'm watching it. I'm looking at it. YouTube is not it. Um, that said, I watch the YouTube's honestly on, honestly on, on Tuesday nights, I was logging in and I brought this up before the show. Oh, wow. That's a big, I didn't realize that that's a big deal for you to actually be watching the, the YouTube live we were doing in the past. You asked about that before we started the show and there may be some other folks out there. There may be one other person that's curious. We, uh, we were doing the YouTube live at the same time we were recording this, uh, zoom, uh, episode for the round table. And, um, I would put that out there. And I think that the only people that were watching were you guys that were here in the zoom meeting. And we never had more than three or four people, uh, that, uh, were watching. And so I didn't figure there was any reason to be doing it.
Well, I mean, are we not a reason where the guys that are supporting the show and being a part of it? I hadn't, I really hadn't heard anything about it until tonight. I think maybe, uh, Rick had asked me about it before, but, uh, I brought it up two weeks ago, like, damn it, because I don't use a computer to log into my zoom and anybody else can do that as well. It's logging on your phone. That's what I do. I log you in my phone and I get it. But if it's YouTube live, I can actually see everything going on compared to the other people that, you know, are fancier than I am and have a nice computer to do everything for them. So let me ask you this other really quick. You, you watch your TV, you got cable and stuff. Well, what type of programming do you watch? Is it sports or, are there actual like serialized shows or movies? I'm just curious. Cause for me personally, uh, I, I find that I don't want to sit still for 90 minutes to two hours to watch a movie. And then I realized I don't have to, I can watch part of it and come back to it later. So, uh, but I used to just love watching movies, but now I have so many other things that I can do for entertainment besides just broadcast TV. Um, I'm a member or a member subscribes to everything under the sun, including table ID, VR, 90% of shows that I find, I'm not a patron. I found the shows that I like and I watch those. Um, I am big on sports. You know, a lot of, a lot of the guys in the room are not. And I'm like, yeah, I'm watching this game. I was watching hockey last week, you know, and I'm like, no one's paying attention to hockey game at all or football or anything. I'm going to mold the desk. I see. I'm going to be against you there because we've got game six coming up now and I'm really hoping the hurricanes can pull it out. Um, hurricane. Is that, uh, is that hockey? That is hockey. Yes. So you don't proud of you, Tony. You knew that. Yeah. Formally. I think the hockey got a lot more interesting whenever they started tracking the puck and you could actually follow the puck on the ice. Oh, God, they don't do it anymore. That was, it's been a long time since seven years ago. Yeah. It's been a long time. So I saw I've never watched the full game.
I didn't care for it till college. I dated a girl from Detroit and became a huge red winks fan. Hurricanes came along and they took me over because I don't have one of those hockey. Hockey is one of those things that's better watched in person than it is on TV. 100% agree with that. I went to, I went to one, I went to one rockets football game, a football game, basketball game years ago. Uh, had a really good seats, not on the court, but a mid court up about five or six rows. And, uh, it was a lot more interesting being there, uh, than it is watching it on television. That's baseball as well. Yeah. I mean, baseball, I cannot watch it to save my life, but you put me at a game on TV. I love

Chic Chat We're Back
Well, welcome, everybody. Of course, we're back. Isn't this awesome? Julianne, I'm so excited. We get to do this again. We get to keep doing it, bringing all kinds of content and fun stuff, right? Yes. All the amazing women. It is later in the day for us. And for me, it's Friday. That's right. And I'm using the 30th year celebration cup that the SEMA Business Women's Network had provided for us and gave us at the SEMA Show in 2023. That's awesome. Good old cheers for that, right? Cheers to Friday. All right. Well, we're going to kick this off and sort of get updated on what you've been up to, girl. I mean, we've both been kind of busy doing our thing, but tell me what you've been going. I know you went to EJS and also to Jeep Beach week, so you were there, right? So fill us in. Fill in the listener. What's been going on? Oh, EJS was absolutely wonderful. I had led four trail rides. I hosted one for Sprintech Superchargers and Maxxis Tires. We did a bunch of photo shoots with Maxxis Tires, which was a ton of fun to have a lot of the teams, the new Maxxis team that has been kind of formulated over the last like six to eight months. We have RPM steering that just joined the Maxxis team, so it was awesome to have their new rigs out there because they have been building and building and building everything. Yes. And it was nice to see it in person because I was able to see everything on our social platforms, you know, but once you see those beauties in real life, then it's like, wow, that wow factor kicks in. You're like, man, that's a build if I ever saw one. So we did we did a ton of trails altogether. We got a bunch of pictures and photo shoots with Maxxis. And then I went and did metal masher and I decided to take a little chance and I was doing one of the bigger obstacles with my little two door and I broke the front end. Oh, no, you didn't break again. Come on. Of course, that's always the fun part of it is breaking. And then wait, I have to improve. I have to upgrade now. So but I didn't break it to the point where I couldn't run it still. So I just took it easy for the rest of the week. Yeah. And put her on the carrier and sent her back home and RPM shipped me out the replacement parts ASAP, which was awesome because I was able to get these new shiny, beautiful parts back on the Jeep and just in time for Jeep Beach. Yeah, build them up. And man, I'll tell you, I drove that Jeep straight across the country from Michigan all the way to Daytona, Florida. And she drove like a dream. And it's crazy because everybody always says like, how can that like, how can you even drive that across the country? And I'm like, listen, I've got that suspension so dialed in, right? To where it's like driving a brand new Jeep right off the lot. It really is. And I mean, she hits bumps, you don't even know you hit the bumps. I mean, and I can take her 90 to 100 miles an hour for a couple hours straight. I mean, like I'm burning gas and I'm stopping more. But yeah, she goes fast thanks to the supercharger from Sprint X. And the suspension is all RPM now. So the control arms, all the front end steering, everything is RPM. And they always say like, you can just set it and forget it. And they're not joking. It's okay. So now you're up in Michigan, right? So getting down to Florida, how many days did that take you to get down there? Two. That's not too bad. You know, it's not really that bad. I can

We're out here at EGS 2024 and I was out here doing another interview and Marvin from Flex Rocks and Rollovers pulled up alongside me and went, "I know that guy."(...) He kind of waved and started working on his Jeep because,(...) tell us real quick, you had a trail repair and now you have to actually get a true four-wheel drive to get the front axle working. You actually make a mechanical modification. Correct. So, I busted the front. You joined on a trip to Cedar City right before East Jeep Safari and I was in a really, really gnarly spot and couldn't, like there was no way to really change a full driveshaft, but I had a spare. So, I just took the front part of the driveshaft out and replaced it with my spare and, well, that never got balanced together. So, now I have a vibration when I drive it down the road and I don't have locking hubs. I just have drive slots.(...) You told me you were having problems with locking hubs. Yeah, exactly. I busted two sets of locking hubs in the last couple of years. Have you thought about any driving lessons so you don't break parts?

A Jeep Story!
A funny one to me. It was torture, very much torture, but it was it was something new to me. And I joined the world. I used to ride shotgun in my husband's seat, like literally all the time. And then boom, I'm in the spotlight. And so literally not having an offered story, but having more.
And David told me that I had one. And then here you're. Oh, my God. Putting putting both of those, you know, helpful and inspiring and funny and playful and something both that just went together like you're freaking genius. I love it. Well, I don't know if I could have written your story without Leah's help. So she gets a little she gets a little shout out because she she filled in some of the blanks. When you were having a hysterical fit over that bat. So I got to thank her for that. And for those who haven't read the story yet. Yeah, the bat. My editor thought that was one of the most favorite things in the book actually was the bat. Yeah. So being that we have time on the show, David, you and I were talking about it, that perhaps Marissa and I would both read our story this way to get it out there. And we could have a giggle or a sob or whatever. And this way, it's a pretty good way to introduce ourselves to our new audience of cheap. So, text, text chat and also to get people more exposed to your book, which I think everyone should have. I mean, your other one is a life changer. So I have to tell you, reading this one. And the first chapter about being on the plane and the taking shoes off and the food and I'm identifying with everything. Don't give me a little. Give me a little. All right. So let me ask you a question, though. Are are you capable of reading your story allowed for the whole world to hear it in your voice because it's a vulnerable story. I will do it. I'd love to hear it. I'd love to hear it in your voice. I don't you know, it's funny. I read it last night when I got home at eleven thirty from a long day of rails and everything. And it's different than the first copy that you had sent to me. And it was amazing reading it. But now reading it to you who put this together, this is an entirely different experience. So here I go. I want to throw in. I'm going to throw in first that I am a different breed. I am a different breed in a sense where I like to wait on things. These make me a little nervous, but also in the same sense excited. And so I remember last week when we were talking that, you know, we're going to do the whole chick pad. And we're going to introduce that and talk about it. The story sort of possibly when my book came in, I shared it with everyone.
And I had to personally sit down and read my story. And I wanted to save this moment for this moment. And so I am don't do that.
Surprise. At least reduce reduce property when you do it. Absolutely. absolutely. So I'm excited. Are you ready? In time. But yes, Jamie, I couldn't be more excited to hear your story from your mouth.

The cold of December 14, 2014 clung to me like a shadow. My husband of 13 years had just left two months prior. I was wading through a haze of newfound independence, garnished with wild partying. While I'd always dance with liquor and drugs that night my feet would trip.
I used some extra money to throw a lavish Christmas party at the local clubhouse. The evening was set. A well-stocked bar brimming with champagne and guests clutching bottles of their favorite poison.
My fresh wounds of heartbreak and deep-seated anxiety compelled me to drown them in intoxicating waves of liquor. I achieved, Godzilla taking over the city, levels of drugs. As hours passed, someone inquired if I'd eaten. No, no, I'm good. I slurred back. I could buy two champagne bottles, two and a half bottles of Jack Daniel's apple cider whiskey, and my spicy introduction to Fireball Shop. I was consuming enough for an entire party. By 9 o'clock my world went dark. The following morning I awoke in a disoriented state, finding myself in my own bed beside a man I had only recently begun to date. A glance out the window revealed my brand new Jeep parked outside. "How did my Jeep end up here?" I asked.
I freaking love you. We did it. Holy crap. You guys are nuts. I can't even. You're my friend. You're my new friend.

What Classic 4x4 Have You Always Wanted?
They're plentiful. They're out there. There's a lot of third party companies and parts manufacturers and suppliers that have them out there. And especially when you're talking about AMC era Jeeps, a lot of those parts cross reference to GM parts. So let me ask you this. What is a classic vehicle? Is it and I don't know if this is universal across the entire United States, but is it 25 years that it's 25 years since it was produced? Or what determines that? So every, every state has a little bit different of a definition, but on a federal basis, right? What they allow to be imported into the country as a quote unquote classic vehicles, 25 years or older. So anytime you have a vehicle, so that's what kind of what I fall into is anytime you have a vehicle is 25 years or older. I consider it. What is the other than just having the classic? What is the benefit or is there any benefit of tax wise or anything like that? And I know this is state by state. But so in general, is there a benefit to having a classic vehicle?
Other than a whole lot of fun, enjoying them and you know, looking at them every day when you open up your garage door, I don't believe so. But hey, you know what? That's what it's all about is being an enthusiast that collects them, enjoys them and builds them the way that they want. I don't know of any other crazy tax benefits. I think that like the registration is cheaper here in Texas if you have a classic vehicle, but I don't think you can daily drive it. And then this is specific to Texas.
So I like, for example, I've got a 1998 Jeep Cherokee that I drove daily for at least 22 years, maybe 23 before I got the 21 2021 Jeep talk show gladiator. And now I've been driving it every day, but I do plan on driving the 98. It was working fine whenever I put it in the garage. But so it is over 25 years. I need to do the math, but I'm sure it's over 25 years now.
And I'm glad to hear that. I mean, I don't think that's a problem getting parts, even though the last XJ was made in 2001. I don't think there's a problem getting parts, but at least I have a gladiator that I can drive that in case it is trouble getting parts.
What's it? It's funny you bring up something that state by state because I'm in New Jersey. I live in a coastal town in New Jersey, about an hour south of New York City. And here in New Jersey, our car insurance rates are absolutely astronomical because we're so densely populated. So one of the big benefits of having a classic vehicle is you get to use classic vehicle insurance and classic vehicle insurance is about roughly, I'd say 20% of daily driver, you know, modern, late modern. Yeah. You ready for this? I'll give you an example, right?
My entire collection, it costs me, and this is agreed upon value. It costs me about her vehicle, about 10 to 15% of what it costs me to insure my daily driver.
They got to do something of insurance is killing us, both health and vehicle and everything else. And then when it's a pain in the ass to get them to pay when you need it, it's just insulting. I hate insurance. I absolutely hate it. It's a necessary evil, but you know.
You put it best. It's a necessary evil. All right. So let me ask you this and your, and this is, I know this is going to upset the children, but what is your favorite classic vehicle in your collection?
So I'm going to preface this by a statement that makes me a little sad, right? So as of this past Saturday, this is the first time in, since I was 17 years old, so we're talking almost 25 years that I haven't had a Jeep in my collection.

So I've had a numerous amounts of Jeeps come and go throughout my, through my collection throughout the years. I actually started collecting Jeeps. My first Jeep I ever bought, my first classic I ever bought was a 1981 CJ seven Omaha, Omaha orange. Um, love it. Said I would never sell it. Ended up selling it last summer to a friend of mine actually. Well, that's not, at least you can keep tabs on it. I see him in his family. Enjoy it. So, but I've had almost every CJ, um, several SJs, but the one I just saw, which sadly enough I just wasn't using a lot. Was it a clean immaculate 1982, uh, Jeep J10. Yeah. Long bed. Yeah. Have you, uh, and I always get this wrong. Uh, in Twister, they had a great Jeep that hurt me whenever they crashed it.
