Wes Lunsford - Wuthering Heights - Heathcliff Revisited (KateBush cover sung as Heathcliff)

PLEASE share, like, subscribe and/or comment. Thank you.
Well, as all who know me know, Kate Bush is my favorite musical artist. And Wuthering Heights has been my favorite song since I first heard it on the radio. It came out in 1978 on Kate Bush’s debut album, The Kick Inside. We are proud to present here to you an adaptation of Wuthering Heights sung in the voice of Heathcliff. Heathcliff is the main protagonist in Emily Bronte’s book of the same name in which Catherine is a ghost. Kate Bush was inspired to write the song after seeing an adaption of the haunting drama on English television.
I was inspired to name our adaptation of Wuthering Heights “Heathcliff Revisited” by Evelyn Waugh’s drama, Brideshead Revisited, which I have always thought to be a similar, English-style unrequited love story with bigger-than-life external forces.
My new-found friend and talented musician, Wes Lunsford, did an awesome job in singing Heathcliff’s perspective and playing both guitars. Wes lives and works in Nashville, Tennessee. He is now a Kate Bush fan, and like so many of us, he just can’t get enough of her, especially after I told him David Gilmour, one of his heroes, helped put her on the map and sings on Pull Out The Pin.
By no means do I take credit for Wuthering Heights: Heathcliff Revisited. Most of the original lyrics remain the same, while segments have simply been reworded to flip the perspective from Catherine’s to Heathcliff’s. This is a labor of love – a love for the original song and Kate Bush herself as a musician and personality. I know Wuthering Heights is cherished by Kate Bush fans around the world and I hope you enjoy listening to this adaptation.
Kate Bush, if you are reading this, first, I hope you and your family are in good health and high spirits, and, second, I also hope that you give this adaptation of Wuthering Heights your blessings. And next time you talk to Elton John, give him my warmest regards. I saw him in Tel Aviv – he was absolutely fabulous!
LYRICS
Out on the wiley, windy moors
We'd roll and fall in green
I had a temper like your jealousy
Too hot, too greedy
How could you leave me
When I needed to possess you?
I hated you, I loved you, too
Bad dreams in the night
They told me you were going to lose the fight
Leave behind your wuthering, wuthering
Wuthering Heights
Catherine, it's me, I'm Heathcliff
You’ve come home, you’re so cold
Enter in through my window
Catherine, it's me, I'm Heathcliff
You’ve come home, you’re so cold
Enter in through my window
Ooh, it gets dark, it gets lonely
On the other side from you
I pine a lot, I find the lot
Falls through without you
You’re coming back, love
Cruel Catherine, my one dream
My only mistress
Too long you roam in the night
You’re coming back to my side, to put it right
You’re coming home to wuthering, wuthering
Wuthering Heights
Catherine, it's me, I'm Heathcliff
You’ve come home, you’re so cold
Enter in through my window
Catherine, it's me, I'm Heathcliff
You’ve come home, you’re so cold
Enter in through my window
Ooh, you can have it
You can grab my soul away
Ooh, you can have it
You can grab my soul away
You know it's me, Heathcliff
Catherine, it's me, I'm Heathcliff
You’ve come home, you’re so cold
Enter in through my window
Catherine, it's me, I'm Heathcliff
You’ve come home, you’re so cold
Enter in through my window
Catherine, it's me, I'm Heathcliff
You’ve come home, you’re so cold

LYRICS:
Snowfall on my home calms the break of dawn
To the lands of warmth, my true love has gone
Snowfall on my home and the night so cold
In the lands of warmth glows a ring of gold
Snowfall on my home and the night so cold
In the lands of warmth glows a ring of gold
Sap of sugar plums, favored season fruit
On a camel’s back, savored spice of root
Here you shall return, sunshine of my love
From a horse-led sleigh you have sent a dove
Here you shall return, sunshine of my love
From a horse-led sleigh you have sent a dove
Snowfall on my cheeks, white as cotton sheets
From the lands of warmth, you have brought soft sweets
Snowfall on my lips prays for whom I've missed
From the lands of warmth, you have saved your kiss
Snowfall on my lips prays for whom I've missed
From the lands of warmth, you have saved your kiss

Ruhama - A Flower Child (w/ Lyrics and American Sign Language)
#aflowerchild #followyourheart
SONG LYRICS:
By dawn, I'm gonna' be so far away
So don't you look for me
Those who'll forgive my fall
Will learn to praise the love I feel
And time will silence all
But now I've set my spirit free
He who had loved me will return to walk your fields
From deserts wild
And he will see – that there had lived among your weeds
A flower child
And I, I want to open up my eyes
And blossom just for me
I've had my share of dreams
But all my dreams ripped at the seams
I wanted to console
But passion swelled inside of me
I've known the charm of youth
I've held a cradled storm
At moonlit skies
Indeed, I know a strange and nameless flame of warmth
Had lit my nights
And you, it's true, it's you whom I have missed
It's useless to resist
I've known a secret pain
And magic days that still persist
I will recall a glance
A touch of softness on my nape
I'll be the shade of clouds that pass upon your fields
Clothed in disguise
I bid so long – but know there lived among your weeds
A flower child
Cova Tembel Entertainment is proud to present yet another of what I think is a beautiful song. Ruhama, one of Israel’s premier singers, sings the English version to a timeless classic. A Flower Child is a soft, melodic tune with a wonderful message for young and old.
In this lyrics video, which my nephew, Nataniel, put together so well, you will also see Jenae Farnham, an expressive sign language artist who has done a wonderful job in capturing the mood and spirit of the song. Ruhama makes an appearance at the end of the video.

Les Ford - Ain't It Great To Have So Many Groovy Friends (AMV version)
#friends #groovyfriends #friendshipsong #amv
I’ve got a friend, skin a mocha brown
When I feel a bit down he plays like a silly clown
It’s true sometimes we may not see quite eye to eye
But knowing such a guy soars my soul to the sky
I have got a friend, all blue eyes and a phone
To her I always tell all my secrets alone
It’s true that she may have had to break with tradition
But just to be her friend you need no permission
Ain’t it great to have a lot of cool friends?
A lot of hip friends on whom I can depend
A pot of gold at every rainbow’s end
Ain’t it great to have so many groovy friends?
I’ve got a friend, ginger, white as a ghost
With him I am sure to have fun the most
So it’s true we seem to march to a different drum
But how could I resist such a wonderful chum?
I have got a friend, black skin and crown of curls
Spreads her joy and peace all ‘round the world
It’s true sometimes she may not sing quite like a star
But she already loves you just as you are!
Ain’t it great to have a lot of cool friends?
A lot of hip friends on whom I can depend
A pot of gold at every rainbow’s end
Ain’t it great to have so many groovy friends?
I’ve got a friend who needs my helping hand
He and I cruise all through the land
It’s true sometimes we may not agree in the end
But it makes total sense to accept such a friend!
Ain’t it great to have a lot of cool friends?
A lot of hip friends on whom I can depend
A pot of gold at every rainbow’s end
Ain’t it great to have so many groovy friends?
Ain’t it great to have so many groovy friends?
Ain’t it great to have a lot of cool friends?
A lot of hip friends on whom I can depend
A pot of gold at every rainbow’s end
Ain’t it great to have so many groovy friends?
Ain’t it great to have a lot of cool friends?
A lot of hip friends on whom I can depend
A pot of gold at every rainbow’s end
Ain’t it great to have so many groovy friends?
Ain’t it great to have so many groovy friends?
Ain’t it great to have so many groovy friends?
Yes!

Les Ford - Just Come To America
#cometoamerica #america #amv
JUST COME TO AMERICA
If you want to hear a horse that speaks
And meet good folk with rosy cheeks
Just come to America
Click your heels and you'll slide a rainbow home
From the northern tip of Eurasia
And the west of Africa
They come to America
Every love fits like a velvet glove
So if you want to find your true love
Just come to America
And if you want pennies from above
And any life you've ever dreamed of
Just come to America
They say the streets are paved with solid gold
They take the shirt off their back for you
And drive family cars
So come to America

Amiram Eini - So It Goes
Download from iTunes: https://itunes.apple.com/il/album/so-...
Lyrics:
So it goes
That the road just keeps on goin'
So it goes
Must keep walkin' and walkin'
Not a thing can be known
Not a moment be shown
Must keep goin' and goin'
And to think, that if I only could
I certainly would
However, my friend
So it goes
So it went
That the road just kept on streamin'
So it went
I just don't know how it hit me
Not a thing can be known…
It will go
Where the road will reach its endin'
There we'll know
That the road just keeps on goin'
Not a thing can be known
Not a moment be shown
Just keep goin' and goin'
And to think, that if I only could
Most certainly would
However, my friend
So it goes
So it goes
That the road just keeps on goin'
So it goes
Must keep walkin' and walkin'
Not a thing can be known…

Prophet King of Lions (Ode to Bob Marley) - Justin J. Moore & Carina Castillo
#bobmarley #prophet #king #lions #tributesong #ode
Won’t you sing us a song
Prophet King of Lions
We’ll let our hearts wail along
So let your chant ring in strong
Bob Marley, mun
A riff drives home a rhymer
In your bassline, soul miner
A lilt hums a vibe
Third Eye cosmonauts
Butterflies of gospel
We sip the nectar of sweet peace
And ink our psalms in your spell
Bob Marley, mun
A riff drives home a rhymer
In your bassline, soul miner
A lilt hums a vibe
Whoever longs to pray for a light to come on:
Hallelujah plays the beat in the swing of the sun
Elohim, Cherubim
Let free people fill the lanes
Share the sunlight of love again
And wash us with your rain
Won’t you sing us a song
Prophet King of Lions
We’ll let our hearts wail along
So let your chant ring in strong
Bob Marley, mun
A riff drives home a rhymer
In your bassline, soul miner
A lilt hums a vibe
Whoever longs to pray for a light to come on:
Hallelujah plays the beat in the swing of the sun

Let free people fill the lanes

And wash us with your rain

Jessica Katz - I Will Talk With You
iTunes download: https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/i-w...
Lyrics:
When you look as pale as sorrow
And entrench inside your truth
Let me talk the straight and narrow
Let me walk among your shadows
Let me be with you
I won’t ask of you for reasons
I won’t spoil your solitude
Falling back on friendly faces
With a knack for social graces
I will talk with you
I can take it, I can take it
Don’t you spare my pride
Don’t you bother to prevent your thorns
From breaking my stride
When you feel so dead and tired
Could not sleep the whole night through
In the space where fearsome nightmares
Chase the dreams that lead you nowhere
I will stay with you
By your side I’m prone to wander
From eyes shut to open wide
Though the words I speak are often
In the palms of hands they soften
They are on your side
When I hear, or when you whisper
Secrets in my ear
I will pause to pay respect
To the dead your heart holds so dear
I won’t ask of you for reasons
I won’t spoil your solitude
Falling back on friendly faces
With a knack for social graces
I will talk with you
