Tomorrow's Beauty: An Illustrated Poem
This video is a collection of photographs of the moon that I have taken in Platte County, Wyoming. These images are used to illustrate a poem that I wrote in 1970 that represented my philosophical musings about the astronauts' moon walk in 1969. The video is a reminder that we should take time to enjoy simple pleasures in our lives, like gazing at the moon and the stars, wherever we are.

This video is an illustrated essay that I wrote a few years ago. It features some of my artworks, which demonstrate the major concepts of literary terms that I discuss in my essay, based on a poster with the statement: "You are the author of your own life story" that I saw in a classroom where I was substitute teaching one day. I present an uplifting message about the nature of human existence, which is especially relevant in the uncertain times that we now face in our world.

Whimsical Wonders: Flower Bear's Flying Adventure

World War II: The Greatest Generation
This video is an illustrated essay that I wrote a few years ago to pay tribute to my father's military service during World War II. I present a brief narrative, based on his journal, of his experiences in the United States Army as part of the 46th field artillery, 5th infantry division, that marched across Normandy to achieve victory over the German Army in 1944. He asks and answers the intriguing question: "Were we heroes?" My father's service to his country is a reminder to patriots at this point in our nation's history that freedom is never free!
