This is Cowley Police station drone audit in Oxford It is my 2nd drone video police station audit. So you Know, Cowley police station no longer has a front desk, not open. It is appointment only now. I did have a walk about where public can access it but didn’t go anywhere you shouldn’t. This station is secure and gates are all locked. There was police staff and police going in and out the side gate but they left me alone and didn’t come and speak to me or anything. It was quite obvious what I was doing as was in plain sight, so no issues there. Top marks for that. The only thing I did see while I was panning my drone round, a cheeky officer tried I think, to take a photo of my drone with his phone and just caught the shadow of him lifting his arms, to take photos. It was very quick. But nobody was harmed making this video. Lol Due to the way Cowley police station is laid out, only so many moves you can do. It also backs on to some residential gardens, so cant help accidentally getting some of that but did my best. Notice a ladder up against the back wall. Maybe for the police to clime over the wall into the that person garden in and emergency Lol. So go up and down etc, zoom in places and did a bit of a 360 but wide out to try and get most of the station in and because of that very tall tree to the left. Bet the police like the trees there. Mostly more above at the back. Then I was just about to do a quick high up spin around and police with blues and two comes by. So a bit of that from high up before quick spin around from above etc. So only Drone footage for this one and my shortest one so far. This is drone footage I took while at ODS Oxford. Lots of solar panels on top of the 2 centre building. I go up and down the site and look more at the top from different views angles etc. Lots of council service vehicles about and tightly packed in between two of the buildings where I zoomed in a bit. Lot of long buildings about. Some sort of soil at the back and even a vehicle wash as you will see when going over the top area. When I started, some of the staff were looking up at my drone lol. This is drone footage of this old building that has been left to rot in High Wycombe. This was a former factory shop and night club and likely other things as well. Anyone know full history? Feel free to post in comments. This is bit like my other video, just more of an ongoing local concern and this is a Drone Ubexer I did. I did this before the HS2 video but HS2 video was higher priority, so this was in my backup. As you can see next door, is had been, being refurbished and they were doing so still while I was there. So does look a mess and out of place with the building next door, all done up and even them new builds right at the back. But does in my view need to be demolished as it looks a mess and out of place now. Anyway this is off desborough road and there are industrial units right at the bottom of the dead end road and some residential properties, dotted around that. I also did a spin around and you can see that and someone of High Wycombe town in that area from above. While I was droning this building, one of the a residents up the road came out and asked me what I was doing . This person was fine and just explained I was filming this old building and I make videos etc. Then some others came out and had a chat with them. These people really liked my drone and said they wanted to get one. They said it was sic, meaning great, they liked it. This is short Drone footage videos of the HS2 works near Stoke Mandeville Area Near Aylesbury. This is mostly the bridge and what you can see. This is not as big or much as oxford road HS2 but did a little bit here. Not sure much will come of that bridge in Stoke Mandeville. Someone suggested to me it is a temporary bridge. When I was doing the Ayl Police Station drone audit, a local postie there asked if I could get some video of the HS2 bridge etc in the Stoke Mandeville Area. Unfortunately this area is in a restricted zone, unlike HS2 Oxford road. The whole bridge and where you see the HS2 workings going on, is right in the RAF Halton zone. So I had to fly further away and just outside the RAF Restriction zone. I was limited on how and what footage I could get as I could not fly very far, without going into to the NFZ. So no super close up shots I’m afraid but I do pan back and forth and use zoom at times as well and a quick spin around. So video is a lot shorter that my other one as could only do so much. I speak about this on my short Go pro video I will link to in comments, only 7 mins. I did try to seek permission to fly inside the Red RAF zone but was refused permission to do so. I did have a friendly chat with RAF Halton. I was told they don’t allow drone flights inside their Red RAF zone unless you are a commercial drone polite and have relevant commercial insurance etc. Still some good drone footage but just very limited unfortunately. Best I could do. That whole area and ever further over, is all in a the restricted RAF zone. So wont be able to do any more in that area than I have done. This is some drone Footage I took of HS2 Oxford Road North Aylesbury. This is the longer version with more time on things in this area. I took the drone up the day after, as it was far to windy in the end, the day before. This is mainly about and where the bridge is being built, is a pass through for HS2. The footage shows the new bridge as it is now and we have a look around the site and have a nosy at things on the ground. I also went over to the other side where the trucks are. Not so much over there. There are over overlaps as it’s around the same area. I did not go all the way down the bottom as would of lost sight of the drone. This is Aylesbury Canal Society drone video I made back in Jan 2024. On approach to this place, were signs clearly saying, No public access and you can see that at the start of my intro on the gate. Good job I have a drone then Lol. This is basically a canal boat park with lots of canal boats parked up leading off, the grand union canal. I think you have to pay to use the site and likely why no public access. Next to it is a new build housing area where I launched the drone from and the main gates. You will see to your right at the start where the sheds are, me having a nosy, you can see a public footpath run along that boundary. I view at different angles, zoom ins and far out shots of mostly the boats as best I could. As well as whole area building which is quiet compact. You will see a blue shutter door which the canal boats go down on a ramp. Likely where they are maintained in there. What I will say is, the canal basin is very clean neat and tidy, even to your right there at the start, as you can see. I didn’t have any issues this day and one person came out from the canal basin and mentioned about the drone in a good way. Showed him a view from my drone controller. Hope you like the video. This is Royal mails sorting office in Aylesbury that does the local area and surrounds. Its mostly a big bag yard for RoyalMail and where they park there vans etc. I zoom in many areas etc and have a good look at the building. The RM building is quite old as you can see, form the design of it. This place backs right onto some houses with a footpath for RM staff running down the side of there back gardens and the cars on top of them as well at bottom. Don’t think I would like to live onto of RoyalMail like that but the building was likely there before the houses. This RoyalMail l building may even still have asbestos You will see small sections where the security are pointing at my drone and then they came out, as you will see in my other video and a bit on here. They tried to give me a cease and desist flying your drone over RM nonsense. Before that I had a nice chat with a postie who said they were talking about it inside. He agreed with me as I was outside an never went onto there land at all. I suggested if he liked the sort of things I was doing, to check out DJ Audits . All went well but was quite cold this day back in Jan 2024. This is my drone Audit of Aylesbury Police Station taken at the start of February 2024. This is a Thames Valley Policing area. As text in video. Link to AB's video in comments. You wouldn’t really know this is a police station unless you see the sign on the public footpath. This station is a bit odd as its is mostly police administrative buildings and where they maintain, park police vehicles. The main Police Station and custody is on ground level as you can see. The thing that’s stands out most here is the duck pond. You will see mostly the main building and admin parts before zooming in and looking round at the police parking and maintenance garage parts etc. I started at the back gate before going round front later on. Their are houses right along that road where police come out. There are PC’s and people about but they just happen to be there or walk by when I was filming. Around 4:27 I hover and zoom in to the centre part of the station with a secret area with what looks like benches, seating for police and guess what? A PC or custody officer turned round, looked up at my drone and gave us a wave. Made me laugh. How often do police wave at drones? I didn’t go all the way to the back where the police cars are parked but you can see mostly all of them anyway. This was for obvious reasons, as you can see. There is also businesses around the outskirts of the police station like the pub etc. I didn’t really have any issues here but did speak to some officers and a sergeant about what I was doing etc. Even police staff. The police staff didn’t seem to think I should be doing this LOL but not knowing it’s legal etc. I just said to one officer, I was flying a drone and was all legal, she was fine and left me to it. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please Note, I don’t make money off my videos. This is a derelict house, property and surrounds, right next door to the Cemex Cement Plant in Aylesbury, which I also videoed. This is on the same road leading to the industrial estate and right onto of the grand union canal. I don’t know how or what this building was used for but nature has taken over and likely will stay that way due to the area it is in. This was done on a cold day with bright winter sunshine in November 2023 and the sunlight adds to the atmosphere along with the audio I think, as you will see on video. This is sort of like urban exploration but with a drone from the outside. Disclaimer. This is Cemex Cement yard in Aylesbury. This is based at the end of an industrial estate just outside of the units you see, which does have a gate but public can go down to any of the businesses there. Also on top of the grand union canal. The Site was not operating when I went there but not a lot of room anyway, so was best in was shut while I was there filming. This is where Cemex mix their cement and load it on to the lorries you see there. So this is having a nose around the small site here and next door is a derelict house property I also did in another video. This is drone footage of Aylesbury HMP YOI. As in my disclaimer, this footage was taken in Dec 2023 and is within the law, UK at that time. New laws changes, start in Jan 2024. There are close ups and as much as I was able to do but not quite 100% of the prison. There are private areas I didn’t go on like car parks etc. This prison is in a very built up area and close to a town centre, as you will see on 360 views. So not a lot of area that I can fly far away from but you do get more of a legal close up. I am zoomed in a lot but didn’t go over the boundary at all. The other 360 view was just to show you the area I was filming from. I don’t think I would want to live right on top of a prison. Lol The police did turn up and that was to be expected, as it’s a prison and they don’t know at first, I wasn’t going to do anything I am not allowed to do. This is in video and explained in short part. This will likely be my first and last prison drone footage video, due to law changes coming in.
