The males of most animal species have the task of finding a female. It’s one thing finding a female but impressing a female is a different story. The aim of the game is to impress and be accepted but as this video shows, sometimes the attempts to impress can be a little too much. Birds are most likely some of the most fascinating animals in the animal kingdom to watch when it comes to males attempting to impress the females. Males are mostly more brightly coloured and have all sorts of moves to show off to the females. Some are more charming than others. It was during a late afternoon safari that we came across a bird called a Swainson’s francolin. It was a male bird standing on top of a termite mound. These birds usually become vocal just before sunset and they usually call from an elevated spot such as mounds, fallen logs or a big rock. My first thought was that this male francolin bird was going to perform his vocal call from the top of the mound. I quickly realised that this male bird had other plans. While focusing with my camera on the male bird, waiting for him to start performing his call, the bird suddenly changed behaviour. The male francolin puffed out his feathers and with his head held low, looking very awkward, the male bird made his way down the mound in a hurry. I followed the bird with my camera till he suddenly came to halt stop right in front of a female francolin bird. I quickly realised that the female francolin must have arrived in the time I was focused on the male bird and that she caught his attention in the process. The male bird went and stopped right in front of the female and shoved his face right into the female’s face. It was a matter of seconds before the female ducked and with a lightning side step got out from under the rather scary looking male bird. I have no idea how the male bird thought that his moves were charming but it looked a little scary and intimidating to me. The female quickly headed up and over the hill. The male, still looking weird, chased after the female until they disappeared into the long grass. It was amazing how entertaining such a short little moment in the wild could be.

It's really easy to forget that we are not the only living beings living on this planet. We're trapped in our concrete jungles, escaping the scorching heat and the freezing icy winters in the sanctity of our homes. The only contact with the outside world are photographs and videos of animals living freely in the wild. But they are here, we share the same oxygen, we share the food, the water, the ups and downs of the climate changes. Love for animals has only increased as time has gone on. This day we can see lots of animals, whether it is dogs, cats being the most dominant but also pigs, rabbits, hedgehogs and many more that were previously known as eatables now have become completely domesticated. This is how everyone should greet their friends! In this video Max the Moluccan meets Q, a younger female Moluccan. Their excitement meeting each other is contagious! The two Cockatoos sing, dance and throw an impromptu party to the delight of onlookers. Everybody whipped out their cell phones to catch the party - after all, it's not that often that two Moluccan Cockatoos drop into a pet store to pick up snacks, have a play date and entertain the crowds. Max isn't quite sure what to make of the other cockatoo when she starts to show off, but he just gets louder and more excited. Max is the original Moluccan Cluckatoo with his unmistakable trademark Bok that he sings with joy. It’s hard not to laugh when you watch this 25 year old male Moluccan Cockatoo with a larger than life attitude. Max believes that all humans are ridiculous, it’s always a great time for snacks, and, of course, that the world revolves around him. His life is filled with adventures that he loves to share with his flickers. Occasionally Max shares the spotlight with flock members Tycho (A 23 year old African Grey who believes cameras are parrot eating monsters), Tikal (A 44 year old Amazon who enjoys saying hello), and his owner (a featherless biped who doesn’t listen). Max is living with his owner in his forever home. When he was ten years old he was rescued from a bad situation. In his original home he was living in a basement, and had a lot of behavioral challenges – screaming non-stop and biting to the point that he couldn’t be handled safely. He has come a long way since then, and is now very friendly and social. The Moluccan Cockatoo, also known as a Salmon-crested Cockatoo (Cacatua mollescence's) can live 60 to 80 years. They are readily recognized by their trademark peach color with a brilliant Salmon colored crest that provides a brilliant display. Like all parrots they require a lot of attention, nutrition and care.

Even though it is a decent idea to grow your little one around animals because they can teach each other about friendship and fair-play. However, toddlers can be jerks around animals, since they still lack the necessary judgment when it comes to handling them. It may be cute to watch your kid play with the baby pets, but if you don’t intervene when they start pulling their tails or squeezing them too hard, then the baby animal’s mother certainly will! This toddler is lucky enough to grow up with a litter of Siamesekittens and she sure loves them. We see her holding one of the kitties in her arms, seemingly gently, even for such a small child. But the kitten is crying loudly and incessantly, so mama cat quickly came to the rescue. At first, the girl protests the mother’s attempt to take the kitten from her hands and pushes the cat away. This happens two more times before the feline has had enough; the kitty keeps crying, and that is a sure sign that it isn’t feeling okay. So the mother lifts herself on her hind legs, grabs the kitty from the toddler’s arms and quickly takes it to the litter. The little girl is left in tears when mama cat takes her baby kitten right from her arms. She's shocked and upset to lose her new best friend. Luckily grandpa is here to console her! Sometimes when it comes to parenting, you need to do what you need to do and make the tough decisions. Cat mamas are very protective about their kittens. Felines regularly have their very own thoughts regarding wellbeing and will locate their very own birthing spots, frequently outside of anyone's ability to see and difficult to reach. It’s hard to find anyone who doesn’t love small, cute kittens. However, mama cats do not like when people touch their babies. It’s that that your cat all of sudden hates you or has other priories it’s just they love to keep their kittens safe. And don’t be offended if she hides her kittens from you, it’s not that you have done something wrong it that they like to keep her kittens on a safe place with not a lot of light and a place in the house where is not too crowdy or busy. If she finds a place like that in the house, that will be the spot that she will choose instead the location you chose for her. So, if you want to help, make sure that your cat will always have fresh water and food at the place where she is based with her kittens. We know that you will impatient to hold the kittens and to give them hugs and kisses, or if you have small children like this in the video don’t allow them to play with them until the mama cat is ready for that! If you ask children what their favorite place is, nine out of 10 of them will say it is the pet store. And they won't be lying – do you remember the surge of pure joy the washed over you every time you went to Toys R Us? The same can be said for dogs too! Well the main hero of this here video is not a kid per se, but he is definitely his owner's kid! According to his owner, Captain the Pug loves Petsmart more than anything! After the owner tells Captain where they are going, the pug reacts in the most unlikely, yet adorable way imaginable! From sitting calmly on his tail in the front seat, seat belt fastened, Captain transforms into the most excited little human you can think of! When his owner informs him “Hey buddy, we're at PetSmart", the pooch perks up in an instant and starts barking with anticipation! When he notices the PetSmart logo from the car window, he turns from barking to excited howling. At times, we swear we can hear him say “I love you". Just look at the face he is making. Say what you want, but Captain even pulled off a smile! That is just too adorable to handle! This is too hilarious! When the dog Captain finally realizes he is going to PetSmart, he goes absolutely ballistic. He continues to whimper and move around in the passenger seat of the car, but his excitement doesn't end there. As his owner continues to ask Captain if he wants to go to PetSmart, he jumps for joy and cries his lungs out! Have you ever experienced a dog showing this much excitement, jumping for joy in the passenger seat just to go at the pet store. We haven’t seen anyone more excited for something in our entire life! This dog is at his favorite place. There is no better place to run around and have some fun. When they finally get out of the car and enter PetSmart, Captain is definitely the happiest dog alive, he engages in long sniffs and strolls down his favorite place. Adorable!

Dogs & Puppies — Maddie the 6 month old Mantle Great Dane puppy enjoys showing off her newspaper almost delivery skills to her friend from Muskoka, Canada, Pablo the Golden Retriever and her sister Ellie. Watch and laugh as Maddie proudly prances and bounces and tosses the newspaper showing off her talents to Pablo. Things were looking good for the Tampa Bay Times to make it to the front door....but alas, Maddie decided she would rather romp with Pablo than deliver the paper.

Can a cat and dog coexist in one house? Sure. But, can you promise they won’t try to kill each other from time to time? Nope. Absolutely can’t promise that. This clip is a clear example of that theory. Hilarious footage shows the epic ten slap-combo this cat gave to the unsuspecting pup like she was playing the Fruit Ninja game. Hilarious! The video begins with a cat chilling on a beige color couch with its tail wagging cutely. A dog is sitting at the bottom of the same couch and he is borderline restless. So, he does, what is naturally expected of him. He starts playing with the cat’s furry tail. Now, one wouldn’t go too far with that, but our dog in this case is feeling super adventurous so he just decides to bite at the tail. HA! (Things are about to go downhill from here, doggie dearest!) The cat was just trying to have a peaceful time when the dog decided to irritate the life out of her. Yes, the cat gets irritated by the tail biting, but is kind of confused on who is doing it. Is it the person holding the camera? Is the kid in the background? Or it is someone else? It is pretty evident that the cat looks around trying to find the culprit. And guess what, our bold dog isn’t ashamed of his actions, he sits right at the same stop, look prouder than ever. With no hint of guilt. (In my opinion, he could have gone running for the hills, while the cat was looking around to find the offender, because what’s coming next is going to be really bad) The cat gives one look at the dog and knows for a fact who the criminal is. There is no going back for the dog, now. The cat goes one, two, three. Ten! Cat slaps are always hilarious, but a 10-slap combo is unusual, the cat must be annoyed beyond limit. The end of cat slaps doesn’t occur because the cat is done, but because the dog can’t take it anymore and is scared. (And now, he wants to go running for the hills, eh?) I think the dog’s learnt his lesson and will never try to annoy a peacefully resting cat. Or never annoy a cat, period. Can we take a moment to acknowledge the notorious kids in the background? Yes, the kids. They start with whispering in the background as the video begins, fully aware of the effect the tail biting is going to have. It is as if they were hoping for the inevitable to happen when the cat’s tail gets bitten. It’s so adorable, when the kids burst out laughing when the cat begins is raged slaps. But can we blame the kids for laughing their stomachs out? Well, every time I play this clip I go bonkers laughing just as hard myself. Did you laugh just as hard? I bet you did! This family thought their dog only howls along to the music when she sits up, but now she has taken it to the next level. Watch as she immediately starts howling the moment the piano starts playing. We all have that special nook in the house that is ours and no one else’s. It is the place we would like to curl ourselves into a ball in and just lay until the end of time, or at least until our problems or the bad weather pass us by. Dogs are very much like us in that manner. Our loving pets, too, have a comfortable nest where they love to sit and wait for us to show them some love. We might give them the most comfortable dog beds or even let them sleep on down feathers, but they would still climb on our beds or sleep on the cat bed when we turn our attention to something else. Unfortunately for us, they don’t feel like they should share their bed with anyone else. Their name is written with a magical marker on it and hell would freeze over before they let us get comfy. This is what happens when you decide to steal the bed of a Great Dane canine. Owners beware and learn from this example. Check out this Great Dane’s reaction when he realizes that some has taken his most prized possession - the bed! Apparently, Henry's bed is his one and only true love. Check out what happens when his owner tries to sleep in his cozy spot! Hilarious! Poor pooch! Henry the "tough" great Dane loses his mind when he fails to remove his owner from his bed. Apparently, owner took Henry’s place and is nicely tucked into the warm doggy bed. The moment Henry realizes that his bed is occupied by his owner, he tries his best to remove the owner and reclaim his spot! Watch how determined this huge pooch is to reclaim his bed from his owner! He uses his paws and muzzle to try and remove the owner from his cozy nest! However, it’s to no avail since his owner won’t move a muscle! Henry, desperate as he is, has nothing else to do but wait until his owner decides to leave his bed! Moments later, Henry throws a temper tantrum and urges the man to leave his precious nest and find another place to rest. It is hilarious how this gentle giant doesn’t engage in fierce play and doesn’t use aggression to reclaim his place, but politely asks his owner to leave his spot! How adorable! The term Great Dane often symbolizes the gangly and troublesome Marmaduke ruining the neighbor’s yard, or Shaggy’s clumsy canine companion in a Scooby Doo mystery, cowering or devouring everything in sight! However, even though the Great Dane delivers a protective visual deterrent, this breed is actually very friendly and fantastic with kids.
