Caterpillar 287C Test Drive
Two years and one month after purchasing this non-running Caterpillar 287C I finally got it running! Needed a new: fuel tank, engine wiring harness, chassis wiring harness, alternator, starter, and a whole host of small, miscellaneous items. Runs like a top!

Loading Caterpillar 287C with 45-ton crane 3/3
Third of three short videos - loading my non-running Caterpillar 287C Multi Terrain Loader onto my 20,000-pound gooseneck trailer. The load cell on the crane put the weight of the machine right at 10,000 pounds.

2007 Honda BF225 Propellor Shaft
Trying to remove the propellor shaft on a 2007 BF225. Have successfully loosened the propellor shaft holder and pulled it back approximately 1-1/2" . Pulling and tapping haven't worked to remove it further. I thought this whole assembly pulled out as a unit once the propellor shaft holder was loose. Related, the short shifter rod at the front of the lower unit wiggles back and forth when I tap / pull on the propellor shaft which suggests its hung up on something. But, I don't think anything should be hung up on the shifter shaft. Any suggestions?

Test #3 1997 Honda BF90A - Water Pump Output
Test #3 1997 Honda BF90A - Water Pump Output - Motor is running.
Connection between the water pump output and the cooling jacket input has been opened. Cooling jacket is fed separately from a garden hose; water pump is fed independently from the muffs.
Water pump is putting out decent volume, but virtually no pressure. However, the pump was subsequently disassembled and inspected - impeller is fine, all seals are intact. I suspect that is is completely fine and acceptable - the pump probably doesn't build any pressure at idle.
Related I monitored the thermostat cover temperature and it stayed in the 160 degree Fahrenheit range.

Test #2 1997 Honda BF90A - Cooling Water
This is the second test of my 1997 BF90A Honda outboard. I am concerned that water does not appear to be squirting out from the center of the prop when I run it with the muffs on.
This test appears to verify that water is running through the cooling jacket. The black hose in the video was taken off the incoming cooling water side. The hose is normally connected directly to the output of the water pump.
Please comment and share your thoughts if you think that there’s anything wrong with the water flow in this picture.

1997 Honda BF90A - No Water Out The Exhaust - Is This OK
Test run of my 1997 Honda BF90A, new water pump, new thermostat, new flush and pressure relief valves. Everything looks OK, EXCEPT I'm thinking that water should be coming out through the center of the propeller. And, I can't really see any water coming out except for the telltale stream.
