After uploading all this game cam footage, I noticed on several clips a couple things that are flying around in the background. There are two things that fly in sync perfectly in two separate pieces of footage. Ive done my best to mark them out, to see if anyone else might know. Its Montana so no fireflies, late in season so most bugs are done. Strange how the two mover precisely together.......... ODD

Watching the game cam footages you notice a drastic difference on how a bear, or bears act when feeding in comparison to deer. You can see the difference between top of the food chain to bottom!

Well this bear seems to have figured the camera location out!

You know how most of us like to get up late at night and grab something to munch on. We take that back to bed and eat it? Well look at these 4 grizzly bears laying around munching down. They are hardly even bothered by the upset dog. Guess this is what it takes to store up that winter fat for hibernation!

Little battle of the wills between the bears, and the dogs. Seems the bears can go on ahead and take that left turn, but not the right one.

This is game cam footage that the cam filed back in September 2021. It is a large Sow Grizzly, and what appears to be her 3 adult cubs. The Dogs kept them back from getting up to the house. Had been hearing the dogs barking for several nights, sat up the game cam. Figured I would see a bear. Was surprised to see 4 Grizzlies! Couple moments the bear got pretty aggressive with the dogs, and vise versa

We went on a 4 day traveling camp. Traveling lite, and moving along. On day two we made a Traditional Basket, in the way we were taught. These baskets are 100% Cedar. all natural. When done correctly the tree continues to grow. We only make a few of these each year. We are very proud to carry on this Tradition. Normally this brother and sister set tug a war, and fight over everything. That is unless they are tuckered out. This is them fighting nice at nap time!

Puppy was getting mad at the Milk Bone.... Not sure why... Must of just been in a MOOD!

Making huckleberry jam at the cabin. We picked the berries no more than a couple miles above our place. Went up in the afternoon, and had a gallon before dark. Once daylight had returned we started the process of canning them. Challenges are having only two burners, and bad lighting! BUT it was a success, and the berries packed into the jars were under 24 hours old!

Our Dog Poot has to be fed outside, because if he is around the other Pets he starts fights not only over his food, but everyone's food. Notice though that when he is outside he doesn't particularly like the food. He pushes it around with his nose, throws snow on it, and half heartedly shoos the Magpies away. The Magpies are PROs at stealing food though. Brave raiders... That or they know that Poot doesn't really care. Had fun doing silly stuff with this video, so forgive if I got carried away! I filmed this in May 2020. The strange clouds caught my eyes, so I filmed them, then the hail hit. And it hit HARD, and lasted a long time. That night I was woke up by the flashing strobe like lights hitting the windows. I filmed the lightning because I have never seen lightning without the roll of thunder. It was silent! Which is very odd because we are in a canyon, and boy the thunder rolls through there, shakes the windows. But this? This is quiet. Many of my videos are from the past year. We work a remote off grid job that we live at. A Ranger Station if you will. So with no cell signals, electricity, and for that matter no running water (Unless we run with the bucket from the stream that is). Most of my uploading's are done in the winter when we are down in the low lands for the season.

In the spring of March 2020 when Covid was shutting down schools, and about everything else. We were all sitting around the house, and though HEY LETS GO CAMPING! Even though it was March, and the high temps were only 40s-low 50s in the day, and nights were still in the 30s we went. The Teepees fire kept us all warm, and we made those precious irreplaceable memories.... When life gets complicated GO CAMPING ( Its always worth it every time!) The temperature finally went above 40, and the snow finally completely melted off the porch. So we brought the puppies outside for their fist look around the BIG world outside. The little black ones are not as adventurous as the little red one. They are tucked back in the house now. Tomorrow if warm, they can check it out again!

This past summer 2020 we had bear around the cabin more than ever. Our friends had been camping by us, and ran to town to get supplies. They had only been gone about a half hour when our dog lets us know somethings outside. Well here was a cinnamon bear trying to figure out how to get in. I only filmed the first part, as after this he started trying to claw his way in through a window. We had to fire warning shots in the air to get him out of here.

The Wildlife that our game-cams took pictures of (I think the elk found it!!!). And the Animals we managed to have a camera on hand to snap a quick photo of for 2020. Will try to have a camera on hand all the time for 2021, because there were 100s of times that I cursed myself for not having a camera in hand when by chance we met up with creatures BIG, and small.

We stay seven months a year in a off grid remote cabin. We have been doing this for 6 years. We have had many strange encounters throughout this time. Few of them being caught on film. Last year 2020 we set up our game cameras and managed to catch a few of the things making noises, and setting of motion lights. I'm not sure that capturing these photos has made me feel any better about the things that go "Bump in the night", or the ones that cause the solar motion lights to turn on, and off. Mostly all it has done is made the trip to the outhouse in the night seem even further away! What do you think these cameras have took pictures of?

This is our BEST FRIEND, Family member and Guardian. He is involved in anything, and everything we do. He is more human than dog. He is Chow chow, Akita, German Shepherd, and black lab. One heck of a mix.

05/04/2020 A C-130 from the 120th airlift wing performed a flyover demonstrating readiness during COVID-19, recognizing frontline workers, and to lift the morale of towns and cities. Montana Salutes. Flew right over our heads, was AWESOME! WOW!

Camped out remote in the mountains cell phone was drained. Using the goalzero solar panel to charge it back up again. Have had this small panel for 7 or 8 years and has been fool proof, and reliable. Well worth what was paid for it!
