‘IF’ is the awesome new film from the mind of John Krasinski (The Hollars, A Quiet Place) A wholesome movie and a must see for both kids and adults. Nicolas Cage’s newest monster movie ‘Arcadian’ was ok. I had high hopes but since we have random monster invasion movies now it’s not as fresh a concept as it once was. I thought this movie was awesome! But this is unfortunately the closest Henry Cavill will get to playing James Bond. Instead he plays the man Bond was eventually based off of. I mean even Ian Fleming (the writer of the James Bond novels) is portrayed in the movie. I swear Guy Ritchie must also low key want Cavill as Bond because this film proved he could do it in my opinion. The show was great! A perfect sequel adaptation to a classic anime. Besides the fact the director made Train To Busan and Hellbound(both you must see) the whole cast does a phenomenal job and the story is solid. Sure some parts and aspects were hilarious, but again it’s different from anime. But some times with enough care and passion you can create something pretty cool. Rocksteady really just decided to kill all their heros and make the bad guys moral but in the same universe as the Arkham trilogy. Now my main gripe with all of this is what they did to Green Lantern. He was absolutely humiliated. He’s my favorite hero and the fact that they used John Stewart over Hal Jordan makes this even worse. This was a very solid, suspenseful horror movie and a fun start to the new year. It had the likeness of movies like ‘Jaws’ and Jordan Peele’s ‘Nope’.
