A Study of Jesus's Birth Timothy Sipes Crosswalk Church (www.crosswalkchurch.org) Both Matthew and Luke dedicate space this topic. Matthew focuses primarily on Joseph’s role, and Luke, likewise focuses on Mary’s role. What makes this study unique is that I have integrated the two narratives into one timeline, so I will be moving between the narratives piecing the events together as they happened in sequence, using the clues given in each narrative to connect them. I will give the references for each section as I move back and forth.
