How to Stop Gun Violence
Welcome to a comprehensive, objective analysis of a pressing issue - stopping gun violence, particularly mass shootings and school shootings. As a Hongkonger, I bring an outsider's perspective to this topic, offering fresh insights to Americans, gun enthusiasts, political watchers, and anyone interested in international issues or expanding their logical reasoning abilities.
In this video, I debunk common solutions to gun violence that have proven ineffective. These include outright gun bans, promoting awareness in schools and communities, and implementing 'cosmetic' restrictions on firearms. I use relatable analogies to illustrate why such solutions may not work in the context of a country with a deeply ingrained gun culture.
But the focus isn't just on what doesn't work. I also propose three potential solutions: placing meaningful restrictions on firearms, such as banning fully automatic rifles; arming security guards, especially in schools, to level the playing field; and fostering conservative values and personal responsibility in educational settings as a counterbalance to liberal ideologies and a culture of victimization.
Join me as we delve into this complex issue, aiming to foster understanding, dialogue, and potential solutions to gun violence.

Why Environmental NGOs Suck: A Former Insider's Perspective
Welcome to a controversial exploration of environmental non-governmental organizations (NGOs)! In this video, we'll dive into the reasons why these nonprofits are failing to make a real impact on our environment.
As a former member of one such NGO, I share first-hand experiences, stories, and insights to illustrate my points. This video aims to educate and entertain students, environmental enthusiasts, curious minds, and those who enjoy a good rant.
The core argument of the video is the flawed strategy of most NGOs -- "raising awareness". While this approach sounds noble, it often feels repetitive and redundant, as schools and other institutions already instill these ideas in our minds. Sometimes, it feels more like brainwashing than enlightening the public.
Furthermore, many NGOs are unwilling to offer different perspectives or entertain unconventional ideas. Protests and riots, often endorsed by these organizations, rarely influence governmental policies. The government typically invites experts who, more often than not, see through the baseless claims and unsubstantiated ideas.
We also look at common environmental topics like renewable energy, electric cars, and pollution. And yes, we'll talk about those beach cleanups - do they make a significant impact given the massive scale of the problem, like the Pacific Trash Patch?
In the end, I argue for a more effective approach: for-profit environmental organizations. These entities have a financial incentive to achieve measurable results and incite real, tangible action. Plus, they are an excellent investment opportunity in the growing field of environmental technology.
Get ready for a thought-provoking discussion and a fresh perspective on environmental activism. As a bonus, hear about my journey from frustrated NGO member to an advocate for for-profit environmentalism, where I'm part of an innovative venture that turns used bread into beer!
Remember, this is about sparking a conversation, so don't forget to share your thoughts in the comments. Let's challenge the status quo together.

STOP USING TIKTOK. One Reason Why.
In this video, I discuss the biggest reason why TikTok sucks and why it's bad for people. As someone who is passionate about social issues, this topic makes me angry, and I want to share my thoughts with those who want to learn more about social media.
At the beginning of the video, I commend YouTube for its long video format, which allows for more education and in-depth discussions. However, when it comes to TikTok, I dive into various arguments against it.
First, I address the argument that TikTok reduces attention span. However, I explain that TikTok actually only makes our attention more selective. We are still able to binge Netflix for hours, and our attention only views more visually edited and stimulating videos as more attractive, which is not necessarily a bad thing, although it does reduce reading.
Next, I address the argument that TikTok is governments stealing data. Although governments and advertisers are stealing data, I argue that social media companies boost the economy, which requires them to sell data to advertisers to support their businesses.
However, the only reason why TikTok is really bad is that it destroys social interaction. I share a personal story where people from mainland China won't listen to you because they're addicted to scrolling on TikTok, even when you're trying to talk to them. Communication and language are what make us human, and it's the backbone of civilization. Anthropologically and sociologically, it's the only reason 7 billion people can live on this earth relatively conflict-free. We should stop using TikTok as it's too addictive and isolates us.
Watch this video to learn more about why TikTok is bad and how it's affecting our social interaction.

Only Reason People Still Wear Masks
I dive into the only reason why people still wear masks, even though the science proves that it's unnecessary.
In a previous video, I explained why mask-wearing is not based on any scientific evidence. However, in this video, I focus on the one reason why people still wear masks.
I bust the common justifications for mask-wearing, such as peer pressure and governmental mandates, and scientifically prove that feeling "safer" is not a valid reason.
So, what is the only reason why people still wear masks? It's because they think they're ugly! Some people look better with masks, and certain mask designs can enhance their appearance. However, mask-wearing can also be uncomfortable and create a barrier to the outside world, limiting social interaction.
In this video, I present my argument as a story, aiming to convince people to take off their masks and embrace their natural beauty.
Don't let the myth of mask-wearing hold you back any longer. Watch this video and join the movement of mask-free individuals!

Why We Need War.
Do you crave thought-provoking philosophical discussions? 🧠💭 Join me in this fascinating video as we explore the question: "Is war a cruel necessity?" Inspired by Oliver Cromwell's statement and my work for a Cambridge magazine publication/research paper/blog, this video is perfect for those who want to dive deep into philosophy and challenge their thinking.
But be warned: we'll end up with more questions than answers! ❓❗️
We start by analyzing the burden of proof, which is against the status quo. Our task? To prove that war IS a cruel necessity. We'll examine what "necessity" means and break down justifications for war into three categories: moral, economic, and natural. 📚🔍
In the moral aspect, we'll tackle the Trolley problem, religious and governmental wars, and delve into the complexity of World War II and the Holocaust. Next, we'll explore the economic side of war, questioning whether it leads to long-term prosperity, scientific discoveries, and technological advancements. 📈💡
Finally, we'll discuss the natural argument, pondering whether war is an inherent part of nature and anthropology or if it plays a role in natural selection. 🌿🔬
Embark on this philosophical journey with me and uncover the truth about war's cruel necessity. Watch now and elevate your thinking! 🚀🎓
