Fog moving in on the backyard

This is an Native American shelter located just outside Berea, Kentucky. Many such cliff overhangs provided temporary protection from the elements, wild animals, and feuding tribes.

This is the historic home of Emma Watts, President of Paramount Pictures, located in Richmond, KY. The estate is located adjacent to Eastern Kentucky University and is a local icon in Richmond.

My dogs like to jump... unfortunately they don't know how to land.

I was out exploring and found a hidden spring. After researching the area, I found out that the spring was named after Capt. William Twitty in which a stone marker is placed at this site. Capt. William Twitty was part of Daniel Boone's trailblazing party and was killed by Native Americans. We went hiking today, November 18, 2017. It was a very brisk cold day and the wind was gusting very strongly. Near to the end of our hike, as we were descending the mountain, suddenly Tom said.."Dude.. you seeing what I see?". I turned around noticing that he was staring at the ground. I said, "No... what is it?". I couldn't figure out what he was talking about. He said, "Right there....". Hiding beneath a carpet of brown leaves, there was a glimpse of movement. A little brown snake trying to hide himself. We couldn't believe what we were seeing since it was November and it was cold outside. Was fortunate enough to have a camera with me and thought I would share this...

I wanted to capture just a short clip of the river so I parked at the boat ramp at the end of College Hill Road in Waco, KY. and flew up the river a little ways and then came back down. Directly across from the boat ramp, you can see where the Red River merges into the Kentucky River. Hope you enjoy...

Video captured May 27th, 2018 outside of Berea, KY. In this short video, I am hovering just off the cliffs of the East Pinnacle. I then circle counter-clockwise around the mountain ending the shot with a slow dolly out perspective view. You can see Pilot Knob of to the right in the background and the Red Lick area. Also, you can see two other observation points found at the Pinnacles, Buzzards Roost & Eagle's Nest, as I am coming around East Pinnacle.
