Story Script: once upon a time, there lived a poor farmer in a village with his wife . one day he decided to plant turnips in his field. He noticed that one turnip was growing bigger and faster than all the others. "That's a mighty fine big. fat turnip," the farmer told his wife. "We'll have a feast!" Indeed, that turnip grew and grew, much bigger and fatter than any turnip he had ever seen! The farmer didn't want the turnip to spoil, so he called his wife to help him pull up that big fat turnip. But try as they might, they couldn't pull it out of the earth. The farmer's wife put her arms around the farmer - and they pulled and pulled. "It's no good..." she yelled. "Call the children to help..." The grandchildren came running. This was fun! They all pulled and pulled. "It's no good..." The children yelled, "Call the dog to pull with us!" But even with the dog pulling as hard as he could, that turnip stayed put. The cat was watching, and she joined in. They all pulled and pulled. But still that turnip didn't move.... A little mouse was watching all this, too. The mouse didn't think much of the cat, but he decided to join in and pull... WOULD you believe it, that little mouse made a big, big difference! At last the big fat turnip plopped out of the earth. "Thank you all for helping!" The old man wiped his hot red face with a cloth. "Who would have thought that a little mouse would make such a big difference!" One of the grandchildren smiled a huge smile. "This calls for a party..." And a party it was! A great big pot of turnip soup for all the helpers. Even the little mouse joined in... He would have preferred a nibble of cheese, but he tried a little of the turnip soup and decided, "Quite tasty! Is there any bread to go with it?” So you see, if we ALL join in to help, even the tiniest of us can make a big difference!

Story script: There was a boy named John who was so lazy he couldn’t even change his clothes. One day, he saw the apple tree in their yard was full of fruits. He wanted to eat some apples, but he was too lazy to climb the tree and take the fruits. So he lay down underneath the tree and waited for the fruits to fall off. John waited until he was starving, but the apples never fell. Moral of the story: Laziness can get you nowhere. If you want something, you need to work hard for it.

Story Script: Once, there was a dog who wandered the streets night and day in search of food. One day, he found a big juicy bone, and he immediately grabbed it in his mouth and took it home. On his way home, he crossed a river and saw another dog with a bone in its mouth. He wanted that bone for himself, too. But as he opened his mouth, the bone he was biting fell into the river and sank. That night, he went home hungry. Moral of the story: If we always envy others, we’ll lose what we already have, just like the greedy dog.

Story Script: Once on a bright summer’s sunny day, a Grasshopper was singing then he saw an Ant working hard to collect food, the grasshopper said, “Why do you work so hard in summers? Summers are for fun, relaxation and enjoyment. Come let us sing and enjoy”. But Ant said, “I am collecting food for the winters and I recommend you to do the same.” Grasshopper replied, “We have got plenty of food at present. Why bothering about winter now?”. The Ant ignored him and went on its way. When the winter came grasshopper had no food to eat. He saw that Ant and begged for food, but she said, “When I worked hard, you enjoyed”. Then grasshopper learned his lesson the hard way. Moral of the story : Work hard today so you can get the benefits tomorrow.

Story Script: Once, there was a hungry fox who stumbled upon a vineyard. After seeing the round, juicy grapes hanging in a bunch, the fox drooled. But no matter how high he jumped, he couldn’t reach for it. So he told himself that it was probably sour and left. That night, he had to sleep on an empty stomach. Moral of the Story: Most of us tend to act like the fox. When we want something but think it’s too hard to attain, we make excuses. We tell ourselves that it’s probably not that great instead of working hard for it.

Story Script: There was once a proud elephant who constantly bullied smaller animals. He would go to the anthill near his home and spray water at the ants. The ants, with their size, could do nothing but cry. The elephant just laughed and threatened the ants that he would crush them to death. One day, the ants had enough and decided to teach the elephant a lesson. They went straight into the elephant’s trunk and started biting him. The elephant could only howl in pain. He realized his mistake and apologized to the ants and all the animals he bullied. Moral of the story: Be humble and treat everyone with kindness. If you think you’re stronger than others, use your strength to protect them instead of harming them.

Story Script: After flying a long distance, a thirsty crow wandered the forest searching for water. Finally, he saw a pot half-filled with water. He tried to drink from it, but his beak wasn’t long enough to reach the water inside. He then saw pebbles on the ground, and one by one, he put them in the pot until the water rose to the brim. The crow then hastily drank from it and quenched his thirst. Moral of the story: If there’s a will, there’s a way. Every problem has a solution if we look hard and don’t give up.
