In this video, I try to address a concern I've been hearing from a number of parishioners regarding the use of aborted fetal tissue in the development of the currently available vaccines, and the role of conscience in discerning how we respond.

This is Bishop Baraga’s landing site in the north shore of Minnesota during my hiking trip there in August 2021. He was not yet a bishop when he arrived at the site, but would then have been Father Baraga.

Jesus teaches us about the Eucharist in John 6. When we come to the Mass, we celebrate this unique Blessed Sacrament by which Jesus becomes present at every moment of human history and in every part of the world where it is celebrated. The Gospel reading for the 21st Sunday of Ordinary Time concluded the sequence of readings from this 6th chapter of John's Gospel.
