The Best Laid Plans of Mice and Men...
Ok, so the mic is pretty quite. Sorry about that.
P.S - I don't have any sponsors, I just like to discuss products I enjoy.
I discuss problems with the breeding season, new products in my shop and shop promotions, and whatever silly thing pops in my head.

Interview with a Swiss Valais Blacknose Shepherd
Trudi is the owner/shepherd of Dewberry Acres in Dixon, MO.
Dewberry Acres is part of the Swiss Valais Blacknose sheep breed-up program here is the US. Trudi has some alternative ideas about farming. She practices natural farming methods with a focus on mineral supplements. I wanted to bring her on to discuss the Valais breed, her farming methods, and going through loss on the farm. Her methods may not be for everyone, I'm sure many will disagree, but I think those ideas are worth your consideration.

Silk Dyeing With Food Dye
In this video I demonstrate a low immersion dye technique on silk scarves. This is my first video and there's a lot of problems with it. But as crafters we understand that nothing is perfect the first time, and sometimes it's downright atrocious. Getting good at something requires practice and patience.
If you would like to try this method, I promise it will come out a lot better than my video and editing skills. ;)
If you are interested in dyeing, fiber arts, shepherding, and textile crafts, please consider joining my new Locals community.
