In this video I show you how to create a slip knot, a base chain and 5 basic stitches. I'll use both US and UK terminology so you can follow patterns and tutorials in both. I am LEFT handed. If you're right handed the instructions are the same, you'll just be holding your hook and your work in the opposite hands.

In the first video in my Complete Beginners series I explain different yarn weights and hook sizes. I try to sort out the confusion between the multiple systems we have for labeling both and help you learn how to read your yarn label.
