Cloud Chasers: Mini End of Season Paramotor Fly-in
I was invited to join the other pilots in PA for an end of season mini fly-in at West Middlesex Airport, PA. Quite a few of us got together and met up to fly Saturday evening and Sunday morning. This footage was mainly from sun morning when we got to fly up in the sky with some really low clouds that made the view that much more amazing. Stick around till the end where you'll also get to see some of the other footage that the pilots shared into our group folder. Their links will be below.

Columbiana Fair Flyby on my Paramotor to see the Tractor Pulls
Got to take another IRL PPG flight around town. on this Saturday I am flying around the local fair that comes by yearly. I finally got to watch their tractor pulls from the sky with my paramotor!
I will list the fair history below, it's an interesting read!
During the flight viewers were able to type some commands in chat to enable overlays that show weather, wind speeds and more.
Hope you enjoy the #paramotor flight! Be sure to subscribe for notifications when I release new videos.
--- Fair History
In 1845, the citizens of Columbiana County, Ohio, gathered to establish the Columbiana County Agricultural Society with the aim of promoting scientific farming practices. The first fair was held on vacant land in Lisbon in 1853, after the Society purchased the current fairgrounds. The fair featured competitions and premiums for various categories, including farm implements, quilts, and women's riding habits.
Over the years, the fairgrounds expanded through land acquisitions, and numerous structures and improvements were added, such as new barns, stages, and exhibition buildings. The historic wooden grandstand, present since the early days, was replaced in 2014 with the metal one they have now. The fair also became home to a historic bow truss steel arch bridge, which was restored and became an iconic symbol of the fairgrounds that you may have seen me walk through on past streams.
Throughout its history, the fair offered unique entertainment, including ostrich races, combine demolition derbies, circuses, hot air balloon exhibitions, musical performances, tractor and truck pulling contests, and auto demolition derbies. The fair's traditions have been preserved by the Board of Directors of the Columbiana County Agricultural Society, with a continuous focus on progress and improvement.
Over the years, the Fair has hosted an impressive lineup of famous performers who have graced its stages, delighting audiences with their talent and charisma. Renowned musical artists such as Tanya Tucker, Dolly Parton, Porter Waggoner, Tex Ritter, Lorrie Morgan, and Jake Owen have entertained fairgoers with their captivating performances. These stars brought their country music flair and showmanship to the fairgrounds, leaving a lasting impression on both locals and visitors alike. Their unforgettable concerts added to the fair's rich history and legacy.

Columbiana Fair IRL from the sky in my Paramotor
Got to take another IRL PPG flight around town, this time, flying around the local fair that comes by once a year. I made sure to stay off to the side while getting a closer look to see if they were having the derby, but it is actually set for another day. They ended up having horse shows and competitions over at the grandstands so I just made a quick circle around and landed as to not spook the competitors. I will list the fair history below, it's an interesting read!
Hope you enjoy the #paramotor flight! Be sure to subscribe for notifications when I release new videos.

First IRL Paramotor Stream after my Repairs
This was my first flight back up in the air with my livestream gear after the repairs I did to my wing. Unfortunately right before my travels, the server i was using had an HDD faliure and i lost some settings that I had perfected for the streams. This stream didn't have the chat overlay and some other settings were still being worked on so I just left it on, enjoyed the flight, and hope you guys do the same!

Maiden Paramotor Wing Post-Repair Test Flight | Soaring w Other Pilots!
Join me on another journey as I take to the skies once again! After making all the necessary repairs to my #paramotor wing, I couldn't wait to test it out. I first took it out to a local field to kite and run around with a couple of days. I made sure to also try it on a day when it was pretty gusty so the wing was pulling on those lined nice and hard. Nothing was coming loose so I met up with a group of fellow pilots in the beautiful clouds of PA. We took off at Middlesex Airport on this adventure.
Running into the skies, feeling the rush of adrenaline once again as I put my repaired wing to the test. The nerves swept over me as I contemplated all the hours of stitching I put in to make sure nothing seemed loose during upcoming flights. It was a moment of joy once I was up and off the ground!
a Flight with other pilots added to the excitement, and I can't wait to fly with others again. Stay tuned for more high-flying escapades as we explore the world of paramotoring! Subscribe to my channel for more thrilling updates and #ppg adventures!

I'M BACK! | After Major Paraglider Wing Repair
Join me on these adventures! About 4 months ago as I attempted to launch my #paramotor and take to the skies, things took an unexpected turn! During the initial launch, I noticed that my wing was swinging quickly to one side but I overcorrected, making the situation quite sketchy. Trying to think fast, I decided to abort the launch.
Tragically, the wing came crashing down on top of me, getting entangled in the paramotor's propeller, resulting in massive damage to the wing and a set of B lines.
Stay tuned to this video to witness the challenges and perils that come with paramotoring and hopefully learn from my experiences. I didn't mention it in this video but I did have years of experience in sewing and creating patterns with different types of fabrics for clothing but never worked with rip stop fabric in this manner. It was definitely a learning experience and I found it really difficult to find the material I needed for this kind of repair. I wouldn't recommend it if you have no experience sewing at all but if you're interested in seeing the techniques I use let me know in the comments of this video and maybe I'll record myself stitching for a vid clip on here to get an idea of what I did but i wont know best until I actually learn from people more experienced.
Huge shout out for Eric helping me out and trusting my word that I had prior skills to handle this repair. I did the best I can do and so far everything has been working great, though I keep an eye out before and after each flight to make sure nothing is coming loose. and of course, taking full responsibility for my repairs. honestly i feel safer in the air knowing what i did and double/tripple checked. I did try other repair centers and people but they wouldn't have been able to have the wing back to me until winter time again from what i was being told. I couldn't believe it was this hard to get repairs done in the US for an affordable cost or to at least get the info needed about the fabric and what's all needed to do a repair like this. I do understand the liabilities but for those skilled, there should at least be more info out there. I learned a ton but not sure how much of it I should even share. I do plan on taking proper classes to learn more this upcoming season when they are active again. I did speak with some really nice people willing to help me.
I plan on getting another wing soon and then a reserve. This wing will prob become more of a practice and 'messing around' wing once I do. If you decide to do a repair like this please at least take it to someone more skilled first for a second opinion and take the wing out for a few days during some hard wind / no engine after repairs to see how it all reacts. I didn't just sew it and fly it (though i kinda wanted to after all that waiting!!!).

Two Flights One Stream | First PPG Livestream of '23
weather looked perfect again for another flight. our good friend, theangryrodan hooked up the stream modem for us this month so I was able to take it with me on another livestreamed flight. There are still some things I want to change about my setup but overall the flights went great. The first one was a bit rocky at first but then as time went on things began to calm down a lot more. I had a lot of fun flying with the stream again on this one, it's been a while! Always feels like I'm taking off with friends when I'm able to stream it like this. thanks to everyone who came and hung out and those of u who've been supporting the streams and antics, I really appreciate it! more to come...

Learning to call it quits
On this day the weather apps were conflicting with each other a bit and when I got out to the field I noticed that the winds were slow enough to fly without any major issues but when I started kiting I began noticing the gusts were lifting and then dropping the wing faster than I'm used to at this location. This got me a bit weary but since they weren't hard enough to make me feel unsafe, I decided to give it a go anyway. Once I got over the trees the wind blowing began pushing me right even though I was giving a lot of left brake. Decided to come back down and ended up spending the next hour clipping in and kiting after finally removing the trim mallions. I want to try them out next time I'm flying in calm conditions so I can begin learning when to use them. I made the right call coming down because shortly after I began kiting there were a couple times the gusts lifted me from my feet and that's when I finally decided to call it quits. Now I'll have to train myself to keep those trims at the right setting when taking off and landing! See you guys on the next flight.

Wolf watches me fly my Paramotor
We got a really nice, clear, day for another PPG flight. Sun was out and weather was finally a bit warmer. Ashley and I decided to take Luna out to the field to hang out with us while I go on another Paramotor flight. Temps were closer to 60degF so I was able to stay up a bit longer. Finally got to do that low pass that I've been wanting to try at this field and Luna the wolfdog was a bit concerned about me taking off but was pretty well behaved and so happy when I came back and landed the paramotor.
