Excessive development in this city leaves local wildlife confused about where they belong. Many end up wandering the city looking for food and a place to stay.

It's the best San Francisco Bay and Golden Gate Bridge video I've got. I just didn't notice it at first. I hope you enjoy.

From a website: The Killdeer bird often makes a shallow nest on the ground. If it's eggs or young are threatened it goes into "broken wing" mode and walks away on one leg to lure predators away from it's young. I didn't want to get closer as she was upset already by our presence, so I filmed a short clip and let her be.

I was directly in the path of totality and viewed the full 4 minutes plus on April 8 at 3:04 pm EST (through proper glasses of course). Lacking the equipment to film such an event, I simply set my cell camera to the sun in hyperlapse video mode and let it run to see what happened. No filters or editing except to shorten the clip. It wasn't what I expected, but interesting nonetheless. I don't know which planet that is at the top left, several were reportedly visible. About 49 - 58 seconds is the total eclipse. I hope you'll find it worth your time.

I would have shown the release which went off without a hitch but it was raining and I was alone. No way to control the filming and release at the same time. It didn't seem injured and quickly ran for cover, so all is good. For any concerned, I'm sure it will be fine.

At the Battery Spencer Overlook near the Golden Gate Bridge is a fence I'd never heard of until now. It's been dubbed the "Love Locks" fence by those couples looking to "secure" their relationship. We flew to San Francisco to attend a funeral for a friend in Sacramento. This is first in a series of video clips from the trip.

America, a land of promise, of wealth and plenty. This is true. However, sights like this are becoming common, even ordinary, even in my small city. This is not San Francisco or L.A. or Chicago or NYC, this is middle America, the Heartland. If you're a praying person, please pray for America.

I counted seven deer munching away in the yard of a city neighborhood. No fear :)

During a walk in the park in Dumaguete City, Philippines we saw an American busking, and some very determined night fishermen.

Like so many videos I recorded here they were for remembrance, I wasn't thinking of later posting to any platform. As it happens, some of them blesses others. I've learned something from this, namely that if it touches and blesses you, it will touch and bless others too.

Dumaguete City Park by the Sea, known locally as The Boulevard

A common inexpensive way to travel the city. It's rough unedited video, but shows what it's like to travel in pedicabs.

Seeing this black ring in the sky while driving, I immediately turned on my phone camera and pulled over. I left the video uncut until it dissipated, unlike other videos which only show a few seconds. On research I found they can be man-made by events such as the backfire of diesel engines and power transformer explosions. Though I believe there are sights in the sky not easily explained, I'm reasonably satisfied this is not one of them. If you have different thoughts you're welcome to leave them in the comment section. I welcome your opinion.
