The clown show support for Israel in parliament by both Sunak and Starmer got given short shrift by George Galloway. Right, so for all of the pro Israel sycophancy in parliament yesterday, surely there had to be a voice of reason, a voice of sense from somewhere, someone who would stand up and condemn Israel for having attacked the Iranian Consulate in Syria, which led to the quite understandable retaliation by Iran in which case for this attack on their sovereign soil, which is exactly what all embassies are and indeed all diplomatic buildings are protected under international law in line with this. So the pathetic display of both the government front bench and the Labour shadow front bench condemning Iran and offering their support to Israel still, even now, despite what has happened already over the last 6 months, never mind this most recent escalation and whether you love him or hate him and there are solid reasons to feel both at times, when it comes to the Middle East, when it comes to Israel and what they have been able to get away with for decades, nobody quite calls them out like George Galloway and both Sunak and Starmer got the treatment as he stood as one of the few voices talking sense on this matter. Right, so thank God there was some semblance of sanity in parliament yesterday following on from Rishi Sunak’s ministerial statement that put us on the side of the aggressors once again and against those who had been transgressed against, as both government and the supposed Leader of the Opposition, who as ever has no clue what the word means, were both in lockstep as is far more often the case in their support of the genocidal Israeli regime and against Iran who are always the enemy, have always been the enemy, but trying to resell that point after they were clearly attacked by Israel first is just nuts and people can see it for themselves, not least from George Galloway who is absolutely a straight-talking and honest authority on this subject matter, even if you disagree with him on other issues, on which I very much do. You can say and do likewise with Iran too, you could almost say they are the George Galloway of nations, right on some things, not on others but where it comes to Israel I do not begrudge Iran their right to defend themselves in light of the strike Israel committed on their consulate and it is absolutely right that somebody should say that in parliament, its just a very great pity so few voices were doing that, preferring to put their own allegiances to Israel before the facts, before the truth and taking the nation for fools. Galloway of course had a massive elephant in the room to raise, because where politicians on both sides failed and indeed Sunak’s statement failed, was in raising the reason Iran retaliated against Israel, but of course that is the narrative Downing Street want set, the media, British media certainly have been doing similarly in maintaining this narrative too, that the strike on Iran’s consulate either didn’t happen, or that the response by Iran was enormously disproportionate. Keir Starmer has drawn public outrage over the level of sycophancy and dishonesty expressedover Iran and Israel. Right, so Keir Starmer has stood up in parliament and offered his own response to Rishi Sunak’s Iran bashing Israel sympathising announcement that G7 countries are putting together a package of measures against Iran and frankly he might as well have let Sunak write it, since it in no small way showed that the Labour Party and the Tory Party are very much on the same side of the argument here, that Israel are the poor victims of a dreadful attack by Iran and that British forces getting involved was the right thing to do. But not only did he do that, he also blatantly lied about what Iran actually did. It was so sycophantically pro Israel and pro Tory, not to mention such a load of gaslighting drivel, he might as well have let David Cameron write it given the guff he said to Kay Burley on Sky the other day which she had none of. There’s no differentiating between the two main parties in their attitudes towards Iran and their avowed support of the genocidal regime in Gaza, but this response from Starmer was depraved and dishonest beyond belief. Right, so that was Keir Starmer’s response to Rishi Sunak’s announcement to the House of Commons, very much pass the sick bucket levels of lying I felt, escalatory in it’s language and utterly misrepresentative of the facts, but we’re becoming used to that from our politicians right now in this country aren’t we? He stood there and praised our armed forces for their involvement, shooting down drones and missiles as they passed through Iraqi and Syrian airspace on the way to Israel, painting a target on our backs now, potentially and all the more so as we send more RAF jets out there, that he ridiculously thinks will make the world safer. Let us never forget how Iran came to make this attack to begin with. Israel deliberately targeted their consulate in Syria. That happened first. Israel made the unprovoked attack, the level and scale of Iran’s defence which is what arguments against Iran are trying to fixate on amongst our politicians as they seek to find some kind of an angle in order to defend the indefensible, to still slavishly support Israel, yet to listen them that incident either never happened, or was such a minor thing as to not warrant what they deemed to be an over the top retaliation. Targeting a consulate is against international law, it is in breach of the Vienna Convention of 1961, it has also never happened before, it is a world first that a consulate be deliberately attacked, so this is no minor thing, it’s a brand new low in the course of warfare. 13 people were killed. Iran says it's finished with Israel, but if Israel ramps things up again, who's paying, because they don't look like they can afford it. Right, so as various Western politicians queue up to expose themselves as absolute raging hypocrites after months of saying Israel has a right to defend itself but Iran apparently doesn’t, it isn’t Iran that is being looked at right now as the likely cause of the aggression between the two nations continuing, having said their business with Israel is concluded, but with Israel and Netanyahu instead ramping matters up again and with those same hypocritical leaders and their biased media mates singing from the same hymn sheet that the attack from Iran was unprovoked, they are escalating and enabling Israel to say they would be right to respond, even if, behind closed doors, the likes of Genocide Joe Biden are telling Netanyahu to take the win, referring to the fact Iran basically let them off lightly considering the armaments they could have brought to bear should they have chosen to. The thing is, the cost of Israel’s defence of that night has now come to light and compared to the cost to Iran? Well frankly if Bibi wants a full on war, who’s going to pay for it, because he might not be able to. Right, so now that Iran has expressed it’s right to defend itself following the unprovoked targeting of the Iranian consulate in Damascus, as the dust settles and Israel assesses the damage we know they’ve sustained even if they deny it, because we’ve all seen footage I’m sure on social media of rockets making it past Israeli defence systems and finding their way to the military targets they were destined for, the question now hanging in the air is whether Israel get the message, or whether they decide to retaliate against Iran once again. Iran are saying they now consider the matter closed, Israel having targeted their embassy in Syria, killing 13 people, Israel deemed it a military target because of who was there, but if embassies can now be considered military targets every time certain people visit them it sets an incredibly dangerous precedent, it is in violation of the Vienna Convention of 1961 which protects diplomatic buildings and embassies, they are not and never should be designated targets, yet Israel did this, violated that Convention and Iran responded. Drone attacks, ballistic and cruise missiles were fired, Israel’s Iron Dome defence system took a beating, as did aircraft countering these strikes, putting down the vast majority of these inbound targets, but not all of them. A SECOND UK company is now linked to the killing of 7 WCK aid workers, now owned by the makers of the missiles used. Right, so the World Central Kitchen aid worker attack, which killed seven aid workers and which took place on the same day Israel also targeted Iran’s embassy in Damascus, was a drone attack, allegedly using British technology, technology obtained by Israel due to their acquisition of a British engineering company, but now some details as to the kind of missiles that were used has also emerged and potentially this implicates a SECOND British company now, along with exposing yet another link with the Israeli regime and Israeli arms companies to the Labour Party. Right, so The World Central Kitchen aid worker attack continues to be a topic of news as more details continue to come out in terms of the circumstances of the attack, not least of which surrounding the ordinance used, which in this case we now know to have been a Hermes 450 drone, built by Elbit Systems, an Israeli arms company, who have numerous sites here in the UK and subsidiaries too, including a certain UAV Engines Ltd, who’s drone engine design is used in these drones. Now I covered the details of this story in another video so I’m not going to go over all of that again here, but suffice it to say that Elbit having acquired this British company, now means they could be using our technology that was developed here, the plans, the copyrights, to build them themselves and equip the drones that we are seeing today, and considering there were three British aid workers amongst the seven who were killed, it’s entirely possible British technology was used against British people therefore, a horrible thought and shows what a Godawful idea it was to allow arms technology to be bought by other countries. But now we might have another company potentially implicated, at least connected to another Israeli arms manufacturer, another British company acquired by an Israeli arms firm as this is, the arms firm in question, Rafael Advanced Defence Systems, being the manufacturer of the missiles that were apparently used in this attack. The missiles have apparently been identified as so-called ‘spike’ missiles, guided anti-tank missiles, which as the name and usage implies, they are designed to get through armoured vehicles. Rafael Advanced Defence Systems, unlike Elbit Systems, are completely owned by the Israeli state, they are state owned, nationalised arms manufacturers though are still registered as a limited company and were borne out of Israel’s early day R&D department of government, starting out as scientific research before it got split into a science development operation and a separate arms development unit which later became Rafael. Iran claim business is now concluded with Israel, that they are now even, but will Netanyahu take heed and listen? Right, so amidst hundreds of drones and missiles aimed at Israel late last night our time, coming from Iran, Israel has weathered the worst of the assault, though damage and casualty details are still being collected. Yet despite all of this, the entire situation is being cited as a win for Israel and a win for Netanyahu, as it has distracted and taken off the main news agenda what they are still doing in Gaza and what they were actually doing whilst this retaliatory response from Iran for the destruction of their consulate in Syria was going on and whilst Iran is now saying they are satisfied they have responded as they said they would and on a scale appropriate in their view to what was done to them, is Netanyahu the sort to let this go, when he wants that wider war and wants to drag more countries into this mess? Right, so as we woke up this morning, having heard about the drone and missile launches from Iran heading towards Israel as was the situation our time when we went to bed, we were honestly dreading and wondering what scale of devastation we could have been looking at, but for the most part, it seems that Israel have weathered the attack that headed their way. Not only was their Iron Dome air defence system effective, but they also had the support of the likes of France as al-Jazeera are reporting by way of air defence support too, with the Tory graph reporting that US and UK jets were involved too, though curiously al-Jazeera’s live updates of the situation are not reporting their involvement. The US was specifically warned not to get involved after all and Rishi Sunak here in the UK doesn’t tend to jump until Biden says he can, if you thought Brexit brought independence, here’s a classic example of why that is drivel, though their action was apparently confined to the Syria Iraq border who’s airspace drones and missiles were passing through, so perhaps they could argue they were defending that airspace perhaps? At any rate, rocket attacks came in not just from Iran but also Southern Lebanon and Yemen, as well as Iraq, so very much a co-ordinated attack it seems. Most of the drones and missiles were intercepted, Mr Pointy Daniel Hagari took to camera and announced that 99% of some 300 drones were brought down by Israel, but those that punched through will have caused damage and we know some certainly have puinched through because as ever video footage on social media taken by those there has shown this. All of Iran’s targets were apparently of a military nature as well, they claim they haven’t targeted residential areas and one area specifically that comes up in mentions is Nevatim. Dozens of drones and missiles launched from Iran and allies and heading to Israel tonight show Iran's retaliation has started. Right, so a late night video from me tonight as it has now been confirmed that Iran have now launched a retaliatory strike against Israel in the form of drones and cruise missiles, which will take some hours before impact and it remains to be seen if Israel’s Iron Dome defence system can cope with what Iran is throwing its way, or whether additional attacks from Iranian allies, such as a follow up from Hezbollah add to this strike. We knew this was going to happen, we knew it was coming, we knew it because the West had been warned, we knew it because despite these warnings nobody has sought to rein Israel in as it seeks to expand this regional conflict further and it has to be remembered this is all as a consequence of Israel committing genocide and being left to carry on despite legal orders and despite a ceasefire order from the UN Security Council. Israel has escalated this along with those still supporting them so what comes of this now is all on them. Right, so Iran, as we absolutely knew they would, they do not bluff about such things, have retaliated for the airstrike by Israel on their consulate in Damascus. Right now what we know is coming in on pretty much a minute by minute basis, by the time this goes out some of it may already be academic, but all I can say now is that Iran have launched a swarm of some 50 drones, along with dozens of ballistic cruise missiles towards Israeli targets tonight, having at time of writing crossed into Iraqi airspace. Now we surmised something might have been in the offing earlier tonight when Jordan cleared it’s airspace, Iraq have since done likewise for obvious reasons, as have Israel and Iran itself. But what we’re looking at here cannot be underestimated, we’re in uncharted territory now because Iran have never launched a direct attack themselves upon Israel, but almost certainly we’re going to see a wider escalation, with more nations dragged into this mess, which is entirely the fault of every nation aiding and abetting Israel instead of dealing with it, and its genocidal actions in Gaza, when it was just Israel and Gaza. Instead of disciplining that spoilt brat of a nation, they’ve continued to cosset it and look where we are now, a government now that wants even more and now it’s going to get it, because frankly we have no idea at this moment in time what will happen when that Iranian arsenal arrives in an operation Iran are calling True Promise, wuhich is very much what they are keeping here. Overnight airstrikes from Iranian allies Hezbollah in Lebanon have prompted discussion that their strike back against Israel has begun. Right, so last night saw a massive attack launched by Hezbollah in Lebanon where at one point more than 100 rockets were fired from Lebanon into northern Israel and the occupied Golan Heights in an attack that has people debating as to whether or not this is the beginning of Iran’s revenge upon Israel for striking it’s consulate in Damascus, over which they have made clear they will be retaliating and have said they will do so through proxies, in other words forces allied to Iran acting on their behalf, though I wouldn’t necessarily rule out direct action from Iran itself. Hezbollah are one such ally and where many people compare Hezbollah and Hamas in one way or another, pro Israeli’s might regard them as anti Israel terrorists, others more clued up would consider them resistance movements borne out of Israeli attacks and occupation both past and present in Gaza and Lebanon, but one key difference is that Hezbollah are far more powerful, and until the invasion of Gaza, there had been no escalation between Israel and Lebanon. Now this has ramped up again are they acting on Iran’s behalf or is this simply another separate escalation Netanyahu has brought down on his own people? Right, so there has been a lot of conjecture about escalation of warfare across the Middle East, the Israeli attack on the Iranian embassy in Damascus has brought Iran into the regional conflict more overtly, though so far that has been a war of words, with the action still to come, the retaliation on it’s way, but last night’s massive attack by Hezbollah on northern Israel and the Golan Heights, occupied Syrian territory as that has been since 1967, was on a scale we’ve not seen in a long time, at one point 100 rockets falling on Israel in 15 minutes and it’s Iron Dome air defence system struggling with the scale of the attack. So is this the start of Iran’s retaliation, just a softening up of Israeli air defences, or is this just Hezbollah continuing to exchange fire with Israel? Well it could be all three. The targets for these attacks were broader than previous attacks which have since October 7th been happening daily along border regions, so certainly a continuation of attacks in support of Hamas arguably, certainly in support of the Gazan people though. Broadening their strikes to strategic targets in northern Israel and the Golan Heights? Well the strike at the Iranian embassy in Syria did originate in Golan, so that certainly adds weight to that argument too. Then there are the reports about the Iron Dome defence system struggling to contain the Lebanese barrage. Fiscal rules are out of the window it seems as Keir Starmer pledges his 'unshakable, absolute, total' commitment to nukes. Right, so the Magic Money Tree has put in a magical new appearance it would seem as Keir Starmer has announced he will be increasing defence spending and continue to back Britain’s nuclear deterrent, all after having spent an interminable amount of time it seems, telling us that we cannot afford this and cannot afford that all in the name of sticking to fiscal rules that neither really exist, except in the fevered red Tory brain of ex banker Rachel Reeves, not actually make any economic sense. Where Starmer has said no to dealing with child poverty, infrastructure like schools and hospitals, no way out of continued Tory austerity under his Labour if they form the next government, he can find money to go on a global willy waving contest. This is peak small man syndrome and the country will suffer just so he can massage his own ego and brag about pushing the big red button to appease equally the equally red faces of the nations Gammons. Right, so the biggest question people have been asking about Labour under Keir Starmer for years now has been what do you stand for? He’s flip flopped and changed his mind and come up with pledge, after promise after mission after vow after commitment and not stuck at the vast majority of it, save for his support for Israel, but this has been a question asked more and more of as his Labour have repeatedly ruled out investing in the stuff that matters, the stuff that people need and his basis for that has been we can’t afford it, blaming the Tories for their spending, saying labour must be more responsible and pointing to Rachel Reeves fiscal rules, which are complete nonsense and don’t mean a damn thing. Following World War II when this country was in ruins and riddled with debt, the government of Attlee that came in didn’t say we can’t fix any of that, because there was a mass infrastructure programme to build housing, hospitals, schools, create the NHS, create social security and make this a country to actually be proud of. We’re in nowhere near the same state as a country, but you’d think we were listening to Reeves, because lets face it, when it comes to day to day running of the country decisions, she’s in charge, not Starmer, he’s out of his depth in a birdbath, let alone as PM and that I fear is something that will become readily apparent. But where Reeves and Starmer have decided they can’t afford to end the cruel impoverishing two child benefit cap, cannot invest in the NHS, preferring more privatisation, cannot invest in education, cannot seemingly invest in anything at all, yet still think they can deliver growth of course, the one thing they do seem to think is still worth investing in are nuclear weapons. Kids can starve, we need nukes. As Iran prepares to strike back against Israel, why is it that they need to de-escalate, yet Israel have a right to defend themselves? Right, so Iran are apparently gearing up to hit back at Israel and are apparently planning to strike Israeli military and government targets using missile attacks by Iranian proxies, Iran’s allies in the Middle East to launch from. Now all of this stems from of course that unprovoked attack on the Iranian Embassy in Damascus, the Syrian capital, part of which appears to be an Israeli desire to escalate matters in the Middle East, yet the only political calls from the West are towards Iran to not escalate tensions, to not make matters worse. Well, this has me wondering where are the calls for Iran to be able to defend itself then? Israel has been permitted to flattened Gaza and kill tens of thousands of innocent Gazans as part of it’s right to defend itself, against an occupied territory and occupied people at that, as we keep getting told by numerous pathetic politicians globally, from an incursion into Israel, the fatalities from which are a matter of debate still as to how many died at Hamas’ hands or Israel’s own, yet an historically unprecedented attack on a consulate in another nation entirely, not directly involved at all, and Iran don’t have that same right to defend itself? In what way is that possibly right and if Western leaders really do want to de-escalate tensions, they could look to their own support of an out of control rogue nation, run by an out of his gourd maniac and start there before they lecture others. Right so Iran are apparently planning on attacking Israel imminently, planning to target military and government assets in payback to the unprovoked, unwarranted strike on what was a diplomatic building, the Iranian embassy in Damascus. But in all the media when it comes to talking about this, all we ever hear is that Iran striking at Israel, will just escalate tensions. I really am getting fed up with this. If Western leaders really wanted to de escalate tensions, well where do I start! Genocide Joe can stop sending Iranian weaponry to Ukraine intended for Yemen and stop arming Israel at the same time. The UK can also pay heed to that legal advice it has been given that it won’t publish because we’re all supposed to believe it says Israel aren’t breaking international humanitarian law and keep sending arms to Israel as a consequence. Western powers can enforce the rulings of the International Court of Justice and the UN Security Council and get humanitarian aid through, with military assistance if necessary, to stop the IDF or the settler movements from blocking that. It can draw the bloody line at Israel having a right to defend itself for one night of incursion by Hamas with 6 months of outright slaughter against people it already occupies illegally and has done for decades. The US and UK could stop taking potshots at the Houthis in Yemen who are blockading the Red Sea in support of Gaza and really have been the only avenue of Iranian involvement having been supplying Yemen with the means to do so. De-escalate tensions? Young Labour membership numbers have indeed dropped and it could make all the difference come the General Election... Right, so a recent video I did covering the newly elected chair of Young Labour being the son of Starmer’s super donor Gary Lubner, a man who’s wealth originates in apartheid South Africa in the 1980s has, as a number of convenient results for the Labour leadership have occurred, especially where the Labour Party online voter system Anonyvoter is involved, raised further suspicions this might be another example of Labour vote rigging. However, there might be another reason for this and it might have more to do with the state of young voter support for Labour under Starmer, because a shocking stat that Labour has haemorrhaged 95% of its young members, those aged between 14 and 26, so is young Lubner’s selection more to do with the state of youth members left behind than any kind of vote tampering and what effect will that have on the Labour vote come a general election? Right, so this story has come around off the back of the election of Jack Lubner, son of one of Labour’s biggest donors, getting elected as the new chair of Young Labour and speculation amidst many stories of vote tampering and vote rigging within the party going on, not least of which the one in Croydon East now subject to a police investigation and more than a month after this scandal came to light still no word as to whether any action has been taken by the party against any individuals alleged to have been involved in that. All very shady looking, all warranting perfectly justifiable questions being asked, not least of which whether the scandalised Labour online voter system was involved in this latest election to Young Labour, but according at least to the Labour Party’s national Trans Officer for Labour Students, which is another youth body within the Labour Party, Willow Parker, the elections for Labour Students and Young Labour which happened concurrently, were indeed conducted via an online vote, but in this instance was overseen by Civica Election Services, who provide online balloting services to all other parties and showed why there was actually never a need for Labour to have its own in house version, when there was already an established service for this and where there is full transparency in the vote. It also begs the question as to whether Anonyvoter in which case, or the use thereof, has been formally suspended, because if not, Labour would be using two different systems and why would that be? We don’t know either way because as far as I’ve been able to ascertain, there has been no confirmation of this either way by the party. This is a story arguably for another day though, I don’t want to get into that any more than to lay the groundwork for this video that we can rule Anonyvoter out. So it was a fair selection then? Well yeah, it very much looks that way. David Cameron will not back down on supplying arms to Israel & regardless of the legal advice, its because he has nothing to fear. Right, so as far as the ongoing atrocity in Gaza goes, often people here in the UK will be asking themselves well what can we do, what change can we affect here, and that might be by refusing to buy good from Israel for example, protesting and demonstrating against it and indeed against our government who are as we know, still supplying arms to Israel. But no matter how much we kick off, it doesn’t seem to matter, no matter how many times a newspaper, or a mouthpiece like me might point to the violations of the Genocide Convention, or the Geneva Conventions the government doesn’t seem to be perturbed by this. Then there is this most recent debacle over legal advice the government have received on these matters which they refuse to publish, but claim they are acting within international law over, but which becomes harder to believe following leaked audio from a Tory MP implying otherwise. Why is it that our politicians think these rules don’t matter to us and indeed we could look at Israel’s own government in the same light here and it comes down to the very simple but very sad fact that they don’t actually fear any repercussions for what they are doing, because prosecutions of such acts never seem to happen. What is the point of international law if it is never upheld? Right, so our unelected Foreign Secretary David Cameron has been to the US and from there made an absolutely rancid declaration that despite audio leaks regarding legal advice the government had received implying that that advice stated that Israel was in breach of international law, that the government would continue to claim it was following international law by continuing arms sales to the regime and expect us to keep on trusting them on that because that legal advice was not going to be published. Nothing quite screams honesty and transparency in government quite like covering up the very legal advice everyone wants to see and convention be damned when it comes to such legal advice when we deserve to know if our elected government is engaged in aiding and abetting in genocide in our names does it? His remarks have been reported as: ‘The latest assessment leaves our position on export licenses unchanged…The overall judgement is those export licenses will remain open and continue.’ I’m really not quite sure how much more damage to Gaza needs be done to actually stop those arms licenses or exports especially when all of this comes in the aftermath of some 33,000 dead Gazans, some of the ordinance of which was almost certainly supplied by us and closer to home those 3 British workers being killed by the IDF whilst trying to deliver aid, allegedly targeted by a drone who’s engine was developed here in the UK, the company who designed it have been acquired by Israeli arms firm Elbit Systems. In footage from last years Labour Conference, LFI MP Margaret Hodge gleefully talks of members not daring talk about Palestine. Right, so a piece of video footage has been doing the rounds, part of a longer video from Labour Conference last year, which took place between the 8th and 11th of October last year, so in the immediate days following that Hamas incursion into Israel to seize hostages for exchange deals. So this was well before much of the details were known, a point where much of the world was sympathising with Israel still following that, not yet aware of the atrocities it very much appears that they committed themselves on that night and well before everything that has followed since in Gaza. The video clip in question features Barking MP Margaret Hodge, a title that works on more than one level in my opinion, grinning through an interview for Times Radio with John Pienaar, whilst stood with her fellow pro Israel pal Luciana Berger, telling a few home truths that perhaps Berger was wishing she wasn't, saying that under Starmer nobody dares speak in favour of Palestine any more. So did she just reveal to all and sundry the real attitude of Starmer's Labour towards Palestine here? Right, so that was a 30 second or so clip of Times Radio's John Pienaar speaking with Margaret Hodge and accompanied by Luciana Berger at last years Labour Conference, which took place in the immediate days following October 7th, but there was no discussion of condemning Hamas here, this was about support for Palestine and Hodge was absolutely beside herself with joy talking to Pienaar as if he was an old friend instead of a guy looking for a scoop, that Labour members under Keir Starmer didn't dare talk about Palestine anymore, that she thought it would take a decade to achieve this and yet Starmer has done it in three. Well what has he been doing for three years? Purging people like the clappers on often ridiculously weak accusations of being antisemitic, retrospectively proscribing various groups discussing issues the Starmer leadership didn't like, amongst which would have been discussions about the Palestinian occupation, we know how Starmer has managed to turn the tide on pro Palestinian voices, because they've effectively been intimidated into silence if they remain in the Labour Party and many of us left in disgust, for all sorts of reasons frankly, but Palestine and Starmer's pro Israel backing certainly was one of those things. And whilst that has invited accusations of being racist over the years, ridiculous frankly, Israel cannot hide behind Jewish racism to block criticism of it as a state, that ship has now well and truly sailed, given what has happened in Gaza since. The US has managed to single handedly upset Yemen, Iran and Russia all in one move that will do anything but bring peace... Right, so this has gone down like a cup of cold sick and just when it was being reported that the US and Iran had come to some kind of a truce with each other over the matter of Israel as well, because the US has scored something of a win against the Houthis, they’ve got one up on them and Iran being the Houthis backers, the media never mention that do they? Well they aren’t happy about it and indeed if the US think what they’ve done here is quite the clever trick well they might end up regretting that, especially since it’s unlikely it could be repeated and does absolutely nothing to calm tensions in the Middle East right now. What the US have done is in my view nothing short of stupid. Right, so what’s happened then Damo, you’ve kept us in suspense long enough here, what has the US done to the Houthis to upset Iran so much that you reckon was a really stupid thing to do? Well, you might call this something along the lines of flipping the Houthis the bird and Iran too whilst they are at it, and can only possibly result in them redoubling their efforts against the US and all other pro-Israel entities in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden. What the US have done is effectively taken the Houthis toys away and given to someone else. Iran having given Yemen said toys are not happy about this. You see, the Houthis, being Iranian allies and Iran also being allied with Russia, meant the US has for a long time had issues with both countries, no real secret there, but this goes back years, eyed with suspicion as they are and across four maritime operations between May of 2021 and February of 2023, the US had intercepted four stateless vessels, unmarked jobbies, which were transferring arms and munitions from Iran, from the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, to the Houthis in Yemen. No Russia involvement here, this was just the US pi**ing off Iran from what I can see, because they could and this was of course all well before the Houthis in Yemen had discovered they were capable of blockading the Red Sea without actually needing a Navy. Come December of last year though, the US was able to claim ownership of those seized munitions via their own Department of Justice’s forfeiture claims. Now you could make an argument for saying, no, that’s theft, you can’t just go granting yourself ownership of said munitions, but then the US were hardly going to return them to Iran either. I’d argue as we see more typically in the case of seizures of arms or contraband, stuff people try to smuggle in through their suitcases at airports, we’ve all watched a border control program or two at some point I daresay, this stuff simply should have been destroyed, but that isn’t what has happened. Labour support at local levels continues to flounder as yet more councillors quit in disgust at the Starmer regime & it's Torylitism. Right, so more Labour councillors have quit the party ahead of upcoming local elections, again to a familiar story, disgust at the party leadership, Starmer particularly especially over the matter of Gaza, with the party still resolutely backing Israel, despite the genocide they are actively engaged in, a party on course for such a large majority that they appear drunk on the prospect of certain victory come the General Election, but beneath all of that there is a lot more unrest. At local level, we’ve seen the other week 20 Labour Councillors all quit en masse in Lancashire and the latest resignations here are none too far away from there either, and although in this case we’re talking about a modest couple of councillors only, we’re in Merseyside here, supposedly Labour’s strongest heartland, yet one that has been abused significantly under Starmer at local and City level particularly when it comes to Liverpool. But we’re not in Liverpool, we’re in Sefton, two stellar socialist candidate can stomach being part of a party that represents them no more, one of whom ran to be a former parliamentary candidate at that, shows the underlying discontent that is supposedly the foundations of the Labour Party and should bring into question their ability to campaign and lead as more and more people desert them. Right, so two Sefton Councillors have quit Labour and like the 20 in Lancashire that quit the other week, this is a council facing upcoming elections this year in May and I firmly believe they won’t be the last either. The resignation letters of Cllr Natasha Carlin and Cllr Sean Halsall are damning, I won’t repeat them in full but will cover the relevant parts where it comes to their reasons for leaving: Carlin’s reads: ‘After much contemplation and over 8 years as a Labour activist, I have made the decision to leave the Labour Party. I no longer feel the Labour Party represents the morals and principles that I live by and I do not recognise the party as the one I joined in 2016… I didn’t come into politics to support a political party that has promised to carry on the fiscal policies of the Tory Party. I didn’t join the Labour Party to see the continuation of welfare austerity. I don’t support the backtracking of renationalising important industries or the rollback of crucial green policies – ones that would have secured our planet for future generations. I didn’t join politics to see inaction over Palestine, or the lack of support for the racism Diane Abbott MP has faced consistently. I didn’t enter politics to support dehumanising policies directed towards refugees and asylum seekers – ones that have stoked hate and division in our communities.’ I’m sure a great many of us can relate to that strongly worded statement. Where have the morals and principles of the Labour Party gone? The son of a South African millionaire who has given millions to Starmer's Labour is the new chair of Young Labour. Right, so this is a tale of Labour Party donors and that old epithet of what are the buying when handing over their money, especially when it comes to the handing over of millions of pounds. Starmer’s Labour have made much of Tory donations, the £10m handed over by their super donor Frank Hester, but what of their own super donor? £5m donated by Autoglass boss Gary Lubner, himself with a very checkered past rooted in apartheid South Africa and now his son has just been elected chair of Young Labour. Coincidence, or is this another one of those Anonyvoter moments? Right, so let’s start with the donor in question here first, we know Labour are sending out begging emails for donations right now, but why should they need more when they have donors like Gary Lubner to fund them now? The chap in question is vehicle glass repair and replacement magnate Gary Lubner, CEO of the global umbrella company for such auto repair work Belron, itself an arm of a bigger company, PG Group, who own Autoglass here in the UK and Belron, having been founded in South Africa in the late 1800s, played a huge roll in the apartheid years through the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s in that country. Lubner himself joined the police force in South Africa during that time, acting on behalf of the white supremacist regime running the country, presumably meting out the brutality that regime became known for, so much so that sanctions and embargoes were applied to that country, sanctions that Belron itself was instrumental in busting throughout the apartheid years there, a company where by the 1980s Lubner was working as an accountant for. An example of this is the acquisition of Autoglass by the company in 1983, Thatcher having no qualms about them purchasing a British company of course. A police officer turned accountant though? A bit strange, but not necessarily when for one and most importantly he was white and for two his father and uncle were bosses at the company, his grandfather had been as well before them. Wealth followed, he became a personal donor to that ruling National Party, funding the apartheid movement. Of course that all came to an end and rightly so, but he’s gone on to funding United Jewish Israel Appeal, a lobby group with close ties to the Israeli state, the Israeli state itself having been longstanding recipients of donations from the Lubners. All of this has been denied by spokespeople of the Lubners of course, however it’s a bit of an unfortunate coincidence that news has now dropped that Gary Lubner is funding Keir Starmer’s Labour to the tune of $6m going into the next election because Lubner wants Starmer to be in power for a very long time. Lubner has already given more than a million to Labour now. It seems that housing Suella Braverman implied were being built for refugees in Rwanda, were in fact for first time buyers! Right, so do you recall Suella Braverman, our former Home Secretary and darling of the hard right swanning off to Rwanda to look at some properties there that the UK was paying for the construction of, showing that we can in fact build houses, just not here in the UK it seems and gleefully cackling as an infamous photograph of the day appeared to show, the site of where refugees deported to Rwanda, should a plane ever actually get off the ground to take any there, will be living? The flats were described as beautiful, certainly a far cry from prison barges, but either they were too beautiful it seems, or our government are completely inept, which will come at no surprise to anyone, but those beautiful flats we apparently paid to build? Rwanda have just sold them to locals! Right, so my introduction there, I have to make a small confession, has not introduced the full truth behind what has happened here to these buildings in Rwanda, there’s a twist to this story I’ve not mentioned yet, so I’ll come onto that, but the papers getting their knickers in a twist over this today, being the Daily Fail and the Murdoch Times, it would be remiss of me not to tackle the angle they’ve taken, which are very similar, which might not be much of a surprise, but the one thing neither cover is the actual truth of the story, because these are papers which appeal to the frothing pro deportation wing of the country and any red meat they can throw them, well, it gets eaten up. The Times has gone with a headline ‘Rwandan homes earmarked for deported migrants sold to locals’ and the Fail opted for the much longer ‘Suella Braverman's Rwandan homes for deported UK migrants are being sold to locals in Kigali as Conservative policy continues to flounder.’ Neither paper are telling the whole story, though the Fail headline spelling out that this means trouble for the Tories is certainly the most honest thing about both articles, the fact the Tories are in bother over this because this is the one area of policy Rishi Sunak, son of migrants himself has staked what passes for a reputation of his on to try and save his measly hide come the election. The way both these papers have laid this story out though is to say that 70% of the properties Braverman toured, admired, apparently gushed over the design elements, have actually been sold to locals. Affordable housing for local Rwandans. That’ll get the gammons frothing won’t it? There are only going to be a few left for deportees, if any planes ever get off the ground of course, so it would seem. Here's the thing though, we were given the impression we were building these houses, we were paying for them were we not? That is certainly how many people have interpreted this story from last year, that we are building these houses and certainly I shamelessly alluded to that perhaps in my blurb at the start of this video, but all of these houses and flats that Braverman was oohing and aahing at? Why is it Labour's wannabe health secretary Streeting does nothing but attack the NHS and why does he think we would agree? Right, so the weaselly Wesley Streeting, the heir in waiting to our NHS as Starmer’s shadow Health Secretary has been attacking the health service yet again it seems, calling it a 20th century service that hasn’t changed with the times, isn’t fit for the modern era and that the only people complaining about his plans to bring in more privatisation, more of the private sector into the service are a bunch of middle class lefties. He's written all of this in the Murdoch Scum of all papers too, just to nail on who his intended audience are and who’s votes he’s trying to attract, but if comments like that make you think Labour are going to rescue and save the NHS being led by a gang of red Tories about as likeable as a boil on your bum, that you’ll now be waiting months to have lopped off, and probably face being charged for if the NHS gets privatised much more, then you’ve another think coming. Right, so that was a clip from Good Morning Britain from earlier today, the paper round, Ed Balls there, no stranger to red toryism himself of course looking at the Scum newspaper and reading aloud from it, without protective eyewear either, risky stuff, laying out the fetid future for our NHS with Streeting in charge of it, which doesn’t sound any different really from if the Tories remained in charge. More money being poured on the NHS would be more waste, comparing it to water through a leaky bucket, the service a relic of the last century as well that hasn’t kept up with the times, isn’t fit for the modern era and anyone opposed to his plans for more privatisation is just a middle class lefty standing against working class council estate boy Wes and people like him. As much as it pains me to acknowledge the response from Tory Boy Andrew Pierce on that, he was absolutely right to say that is what the Tories think, because it’s true. Let’s deal with this matter of the NHS not being fit for the 21st century first, of being a relic of the last century which is unfit for the modern era, because as recently as 2013, the NHS was still ranked the best health service in the world, Tory NHS reforms not yet having done the damage they’ve been later shown to have done, the reforms that allowed far more privatisation into the NHS, asset stripping for profit as it essentially has been. That is over a decade into the 21st century though, so Streeting’s claims are dishonest and he’s taking people for fools. He claims to want more reforms so less money is being poured into the service, but when his reforms amount to more privatisation, more private health intervention, what does he think these private interests are going to do this for? Fresh air? Pure altruism? Good of the country? No, they want money and if Streeting won’t provide it, yet want them to run services, obviously they’d end up having to charge. As Starmer's Labour membership plummets, donations are drying up too, to the extent a begging for donations email is doing the rounds... Right, so cast your mind back to what Keir Starmer said about his Labour Party and what then Labour members, I’d hope a lot of those within earshot, decided to take him at his word when he said if you don’t like what I’m doing, if you don’t like the Labour Party as it is today, then there’s the door. Well certainly plenty of people have it seems as the latest begging email sent out to Labour members is one of pleading poverty and of donations drying up. Well my sympathy extends to precisely zero over this. You wanted your Labour to be the party of big business, the party of millionaires, you spurned the membership, told them to get stuffed if you hadn’t slung them out already on spurious charges as part of the Labour purge, then maybe you wouldn’t be in so much trouble now. Labour has been bleeding away paying supporters for years and it has only accelerated more recently, wouldn’t the truth of the matter be more like the Labour Party simply can’t afford to have Keir Starmer as their leader in which case? Right, so Labour are in financial trouble having told anyone on the left they haven’t purged to effectively do one if they don’t like how the party is run these days, and given that it is run like a Margaret Thatcher tribute act, plenty have indeed it seems used that door. Whilst I’ve brought her up of course, it would be remiss of me to not pass comment on today being the 11th anniversary of Thatcher’s death, so everyone enjoy a ding dong moment today in her memory. But it’s not only that lurch towards Torylitism that has sent people packing, but the current leader too. Labour might be riding high in the polls ahead of the Tories, but as far as the party leaders go, both are in negative territory, which just goes to show that Labour’s lead is built on sand when Starmer is a total turn off to voters, just less of a turn off than Sunak is. Some media are now carrying a story that Sunak is going to now push the General Election back as far as he legally can, which would be next January, as he continues to run away from an election he knows he’s going to lose, yet the longer he stalls, the more it damages the Tories, the more it actually helps Starmer, so other media debating whether the Tories will ditch Sunak even at this late stage, well, it may not be as mad as you might think, given how Sunak really is running them into the floor, not that they don’t deserve extinction, it’s just the thought of a Starmer led landslide, when his poll lead is built on the Tories implosion and he’s lied his weaselly black guts out to get where he is today, it just feels like he’s being rewarded for being arguably one of the most dishonest politicians we’ve ever seen and again that plays into part of why he is such a massive turn off when nationally the party continues to do well. Starmer promised continuity Corbyn and instead has delivered Blair on steroids. There is no defending Israel whilst withholding legal advice which the Tories claim to be adhering to and Oliver Dowden knows it. Right, so imagine you go onto do the Sunday morning politics rounds and you get presented with the death toll to aid workers in Gaza at the hands of Israeli forces. Imagine you get asked about that in the context of the legal advice you’ve been given, legal advice which of course we know the Tories continue to refuse to publish and get asked to justify that lack of transparency in the context of those deaths, which of course under international humanitarian law, are never events. The honest answer of course, the only answer, is that all of those deaths are obviously war crimes and Israel has to be held responsible for them as part of a wider investigation into the litany of war crimes they have committed, but the Tory answer as delivered this morning? Those humanitarian deaths are apparently justified, because Israel has a right to defend itself, even against people it illegally occupies. This was a truly rancid interview, mind your blood pressure. Right, so that was of course Tory Deputy Leader Oliver Dowden there appearing to justify the deaths of aid workers in the context of Israel’s right to defend itself despite that very much being against humanitarian law, but he just couldn’t bring himself to say that, could he? He was simply asked if Israel is acting within international humanitarian law in regard to the deaths of those aid workers and the answer is always no, we know what the law says in regards to aid workers, so it should have been a straightforward no. But this is a Tory, this is a guy, who gets sent oout on the media rounds because he can do the full on waffle and bluster routine and he came out with several points, but all of which can only ever be read as justification for the deaths of those aid workers in this context and he just never should have gone there. We know what the law is, but Dowden decided to hide behind the fact the government are not publishing the legal advice they have received. They can keep sticking to that line if they like, we know the chair of the foreign affairs select committee Alicia Kearns said on leaked audio back on the 13th March that the government advice had been that Israel are in breach of international law and indeed the law itself is not hidden from us. If the government had been told anything different it would be bad advice, particularly in the context of the deaths of aid workers, not to mention other protected groups like health workers and journalists. So saying we’re not pre-empting or not second guessing government advice simply doesn’t wash, because the law is what it is, we know it is illegal to kill aid workers, so the advice the government have been given is irrelevant, particularly since the question was put to Dowden for HIS view. Deciding to hide behind the government line though says much more about him. Iran is planning a response against Israel for striking their Syrian embassy, and the US are NOT going to come to the rescue? Right, so I have to admit to having been a bit sceptical over this story, but I decided to dig into it given that this has been reported by the official BRICS News Twitter account, a verified account with the gold tick such accounts have these days since Elon Musk sold blue ticks. The more I’ve dug into it though, the more it kind of makes sense, that in light of the historically low move by Israel, the act of terrorism as it was fundamentally in striking the Iranian Embassy in the Syrian capital of Damascus, that a deal between the US and Iran has been done if Iran decides to retaliate against Israel as has been threatened. It might sound counter to everything the US have done regarding Israel so far, but from the point of view of looking after themselves, there could be a logical conclusion to draw from this, though certainly there are other media saying the complete opposite right now, but see what you make of this story. Right, so the US doing deals with Iran, can you imagine it? Probably not to be honest with you, especially if it is a choice between Israel and Iran and who they choose to back up between those two options, but as relations become more and more strained between the US and Netanyahu’s crazed genocidal regime – not that that has stopped the arms sales of course – could there be a bit of an enough is enough moment here, especially given the circumstances of Israel’s attack on Iran by of all things, targeting an embassy, the deliberate targeting of which is a world history first, no nation has ever stooped so low as to target the embassy of a country, that just happens to be in another country the aggressor is at war with. It shows a level of depravity, of not caring about the repercussions and with Israel seemingly always backed up by the US, is that the reason Israel are so emboldened to take things as far as they do? How do you deal with such a country? I make the comparison between Israel behaving like a spoilt brat on numerous videos, with the US the cossetting parent, but how do you break that cycle? You make the badly behaved child, or nation, face up to the consequences and learn from it. Perhaps that is what we’re seeing here, at least partly at any rate. You see this story is currently being carried by BRICS News, the official account of all things to do with the BRICS nations, BRICS standing for Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, the 5 founding nations, but which now includes amongst others, Iran. Developing economies, an economic body as BRICS ostensibly is, it is being drawn into this Middle East crisis more and more, from the South Africa vs Israel International Court of Justice case, to Russian warships aiding the Houthis in Yemen, the Houthis also in talks with BRICS more directly, so potential membership for them on the horizon maybe? Right, so if you thought we’d moved on from that mess of an SNP ceasefire motion, where on their opposition day, they ended up having their own motion hijacked by Labour, with help from the weakling Speaker of the House of Commons Lindsay Hoyle, to push through a Labour amendment instead, something which in the case of an opposition day debate, was against the standing orders, the established rules of the House of Commons. With attempts to get Starmer referred to the Privileges Committee for investigation having been blocked, conveniently for Hoyle by his deputy speakers, it has very much looked like Starmer had got away with whatever he said to Hoyle to get him to set aside the standing orders blocking a Labour amendment on this SNP motion, a motion which looked likely to cause a massive rebellion amongst Labour backbenchers, and likely more resignations from the frontbench. Well it seems the story isn’t over yet, as another attempt to bring Starmer and Hoyle to book for what happened here is in the offing and in the interests of democracy, we really do need to know what Starmer did and why Hoyle capitulated to break the rules here, because nobody was buying his Islamophobic excuse to get himself off the hook here either. Right, so CeasefireGate, it’s not over yet folks, as allegations of intimidation in parliament simply cannot be allowed to be gotten away with. Now I’m sure the bit you all remember, that stuck in the mind is the SNP and the Tories marching out of the Commons chamber on SNP Opposition Day back on the 21st of February, after Labour were allowed to bring an amendment to the SNP ceasefire motion, on SNP Opposition Day. Now convention on opposition days. Is that where typically amendments to any motion are heard and voted on first, that isn’t the case here. The opposition party in question bringing the motion, brings it first, it can then be amended after, if the amendment selected passes. The government if they lay down an amendment, this supercedes all others and this was the case here, which meant Labour’s amendment should never have been heard. Since the standing order only allows for one amendment to come after the main motion, by Hoyle allowing Labour’s amendment as well, it therefore had to be heard before the SNP motion, which effectively hijacks their opposition day – the whole point of the standing order being in place - and the only reason Starmer had to do this, was because he faced a massive rebellion on his backbenches, plus likely more frontbench resignations, and an SNP ceasefire amendment from back in November saw Starmer lose 10 frontbenchers. Fundamentally if Starmer’s obeisance to Israel wasn’t so hardened and nailed on and he was capable of holding them to account for their genocidal actions, he wouldn’t have ever been in this mess, but rather than accept he’s in the wrong there, because he seems incapable of acknowledging fault personally, instead the allegation is that Starmer coerced the Speaker, Lindsay Hoyle, apparently threatening him with Labour support being taken away from advocating Hoyle to return as Speaker after the next election. Obviously with Labour looking at a ridiculously massive majority on paper right now, Hoyle would be screwed if he wanted his precious speaker role back. It appears to have worked. Hoyle allowed the motion to absolute uproar, Starmer was seen to say thank you to him as he left chamber, job done it seemed, Hoyle claiming to want the widest possible debate, before scuttling off himself. He later made a statement claiming that there had been credible threats against MPs and he didn’t want to see another MP murdered, implying there was some Islamic terrorist plot behind this, which he hadn’t brought up before and for which no evidence has been publicly produced. Again, there was uproar, as on the face of it, the Speaker has resorted to racism, to cover his own backside. Starmer was referred to the Privileges Committee by Alba party MP Neale Hanvey over these allegations of coercion, but this fell apart when ultimately it fell to the speaker to decide if such a vote on this would take place. Hoyle recused himself, being involved as he was and left it to his loyal deputies, who by deciding against an investigation, protected their boss. They were hardly the impartial group needed to decide upon this. That we thought was the end of the story, Starmer had got away with it again, Hoyle, continues to squat in the Speakers role, despite it being clear to everyone in the Commons and publicly who have paid attention to this story, that he is far too weak to fulfil the role and command the respect of the House of Commons, a no confidence motion in Hoyle did the rounds and attracted many signatures to back that up. Both Starmer and Hoyle positions, appeared to be untenable, yet they seemingly got away with it. Until now. Ultimately where moves to investigate Starmer and Hoyle failed, were because the deputy speakers blocked a debate and vote on referral to the Privileges Committee in the House of Commons. But now there could be a vote anyway. You see the Deputy Speakers collective decision on this can be overridden with a fresh motion which could be about to be brought to parliament, a motion which is seeing the SNP, who got completely shafted, prepared to work with Tory backbenchers, including the executive of the 1922 Committee of Tory backbenchers, who have a lot of influence and most importantly arguably, they have the support of the Leader of the House of Commons Penny Mordaunt, who controls parliamentary time, so if she wants this heard, and she regularly attacks Starmer as unfit to lead and weak, certainly sentiments I’ve carried on this channel and I’m certainly no Tory, very much the opposite, but when it comes to what Starmer and Hoyle have done here, this is simply right versus wrong. We do not know what was said by Starmer to Hoyle – and we know he said something because he admitted as much – and it has some bearing on Hoyle doing what he did after, which screwed up a ceasefire vote, which the people of this country wanted to see happen, wanted to see an end to UK support for a genocidal state as Israel is widely seen to be and already was seen to be at the time. So Mordaunt can make time for this vote, and with the SNP and Tories both in support of this vote happening, it’s likely to pass if it does, Labour certainly don’t have the numbers to stop it. Sunak could get himself off any hook here by allowing this to be a free vote, but it wouldn’t any difference to the result. That’d leave Starmer facing an investigation into his own conduct, his honesty and integrity, with all the lies that can be attributed to him already, going into an election campaign. Now from a purely self serving Tory standpoint, you can imagine this is an opportunity to try and save some of their own backsides, giving them another target to throw at Labour and this will be something that will give Starmer grief through the election campaign. To what extent it will make a difference we would have to wait and see, but it wouldn’t be a positive for Labour. Tory self interests aside, from the SNP’s standpoint, this would be about upholding democracy and that every constituent across the UK is equally represented, because SNP voters, those with an SNP MP got treated as secondary to Labour’s concerns on this matter of a ceasefire in Gaza. This is an issue that matters hugely to ordinary people around the UK, that is not being reflected in parliament. The SNP and the Tories absolutely hate each other, even if historically at times they’ve been politically a lot closer, the old tartan Tories mantra doing the rounds again now, but they haven’t been that for a long time. They’re prepared to work with the Tories, though both parties likely have very different reasons for doing so, to ensure this investigation happens, and regardless of their motivations, it is important that it does. If Starmer is capable of subverting the House by having the Speaker essentially in his pocket that could be catastrophic for the country, especially if he gets into power with Hoyle still in place. We need to know what happened, we need to know if there really was coercion and misconduct here and if that is proven by the privileges committee once given the nod to investigate, the parties involved must be held to account and censured for it appropriately. It needs to be instigated before the election, because with Labour looking at a massive majority, which will affect the make up of all parliamentary committees, putting more Labour faces on them, the harder it will be to do this should Starmer become PM and we then face the prospect of arguably one of the most antidemocratic authoritarian Prime Ministers ever, almost certainly being beyond reproach. If Starmer and Hoyle thought they’d got away with this, they need to be proven wrong, they need to be subjected to an investigation here and as much as I’ve fixed on Starmer for most of this, Hoyle is no less deserving of investigation either, especially since he did the most gut wrenching thing of all which was to resort to Islamophobia to save himself as this video recommendation will perhaps refresh you memory or inform if this aspect of this parliamentary mess passed you by and I’ll hopefully catch you on the next vid. As Alan Duncan drops some Israel loyalty home truths on his Tory Party, One Labour berk has to make it about Corbyn instead... Right, so it really is telling when there is a Tory implosion going on, Tory civil war happening, a proper blue on blue blow up, which you do truly love to see, and instead of the Labour Party going full on against the Tories, putting some water as politicians like to put it, between themselves and the Tories, trying to show some differentiation, instead of one of these pathetic right wingers decides to drag Corbyn into the equation, asking more questions about them frankly and what they hope to achieve at this point when Starmer has taken over, his faction have turned Labour into another Tory Party, and well, perhaps I’m answering my own question here, because of course the source of the latest Tory implosion regards accusations made by senior Tory MP Alan Duncan regarding the loyalties of some in his party, arguing they are more to Israel than to the UK, so along comes the chair of the Jewish Labour Movement, arguably the Labour member equivalent to Labour Friends of Israel in so much as where their views on Israel are, to slam Duncan and…bring Corbyn into the argument. It is truly pathetic these people still feel so threatened by a guy who has pro Palestine views and when they feel the need to do that, are they not just providing that same cover to Labour for their own questionable loyalties? Right, so, We have quite the petulant and petty mess going on here right now all in the aftermath of some quite astonishing and out of character honesty from a senior Tory who has significant issues with a number of his own party, calling into question their political loyalties. Here’s a clip: Alan Duncan there calling out the loyalties of Lord Polak, Lord Pickles, Tom Tugendhat, Michael Gove, Ribert Jenrick, Suella Braverman, Priti Patel, Oliver Dowden, it’s quite the list and quite refreshing to see people named and shamed and I’d argue most of that list of names are, to those familiar with the individuals in question, not a surprise that they’ve been named. Braverman only yesterday morning was foaming at the mouth as ever, bleating that Israel is not in breach of international law, when a UN Security Council resolution, not to mention a plausible case for genocide ruling having been passed at the ICJ say otherwise. Braverman is supposedly a lawyer of course, snigger at that at your own leisure after being reminded of that in case it had slipped your mind. She said: ‘The suggestion itself is absurd and, frankly, an insult to Israel who have been going above and beyond the necessary requirements to ensure that civilian casualties are limited, to ensure that aid is received onto the Gaza Strip and distributed. The drone used to kill the seven WCK aid workers in Gaza this week used British technology acquired by the Israeli arms firm. Right, so the latest news to come out in the tragic killing of 7 World Central Kitchen aid workers, amongst whom were three Britons, targeted as their three vehicles in turn were, ruling out any accidental targeting, is that the UK appears to be at least in part responsible for supplying the means of their deaths. We’re not talking about the missiles used here, but the drone that was carrying them, the missiles this drone can use can come from a variety of places and manufacturers, but the drone used, now confirmed to have been a Hermes 450 drone, is manufactured by Elbit Systems, and the engine used in this drone is only produced here in the UK. So as so many of us feared could be the case, that our own arms and our own military aid to the Israeli regime could be used against our own people, so this now appears to have been proven. We need an arms embargo now and those still seeking to shut Elbit Systems down are now more justified in their cause than ever they already were before. Right, so complicity between the UK government and the UK arms industry, I’m sure you’ll not be surprised to hear it, but with the UK supplying arms to Israel because the government permit it and the arms manufacturers here making a lot of money out of it, but now we know with certainty that this collusion between big business in the arms trade and the Tory government led to the deaths of those three British aid workers working for World Central Kitchen, along with their 4 foreign national colleagues, including the Palestinian driver, because the drone strike that killed them came from a drone who’s engine is built here in the UK by Elbit Systems. The drone in questions is the Hermes 450, which is manufactured by Elbit Systems, who have factories not only here in the UK, but around the world, across 51 counties in fact, so the drone itself could have been built in any number of these, but the engine the drone is powered by, the R902(w) Wankel engine, no sniggering at the back please, according to a report by The Canary, is manufactured by an Elbit subsidiary company called UAV Engines Limited and they are based in Shenstone in the West Midlands. Now where the Canary article sounds very sure of itself, Middle East Eye are a little bit more cautious in their coverage, having approached both Elbit Systems and UAV Engines Limited for comment and neither choosing to respond. However Eye did reference Elbit Systems having spoken to the Daily Mail of all rags, saying that none of its subsidiaries, or joint ventures, including UAV Engines Limited were involved in the Hermes 450 programme. Well that’s a fascinating bit of insight, because I’m very curious as to why the Hermes 450 drone is showcased on Elbit Systems own website in which case! Israel's new law effectively banning Al Jazeera for daring to cover the truth of the Gaza conflict, could harm the peace process too. Right, so as far as media coverage of what has been going on in Gaza for the last several months has gone, the world has been heavily reliant on the risks taken, their lives on the line and too often lost by both independent journalists and those who work for Al Jazeera, Israel’s deliberate targeting of journalists a war crime, western journlaists not so keen to be on the ground, the days of Kate Aidie in a vest and helmet with bombs going off around her long gone, you can’t see Laura Kuenssberg doing that can you? But of course their footage, their coverage has been relentlessly exposing in line with the harrowing footage we’ve all been seeing on social media, what the reality has been in Gaza for the Gazan people and has in no small part played a leading role in seeing public opinion shift against Israel, shift against Netanyahu’s regime, so the faux accusations of antisemitism now fall on deaf ears, seen as the genocidal state it really is at last. Little wonder therefore, that Netanyahu has now passed a law, to ban Al Jazeera, but banning them from Israel is one thing, banning them from Gaza is another and they’ve vowed their coverage must continue, will continue because the truth must be reported, but could this also hamper the peace process itself as well? Right, so Al Jazeera, I’ve used them as source material for much of my Israel Gaza coverage, because it’s been amongst the best out there and how could it not be, when their people are on the ground, risking their lives and losing them in too many cases for the sake of ensuring the truth of the atrocities there get out. For months it’s been clear that Israel have been deliberately targeting journalists in Gaza against international law, protected as they are by it, in order to stop them from reporting and the only reason any side in any conflict would wish harm upon journalists is if you are doing something you know you shouldn’t be doing and do not want it reported. Shielded as Israel has been by too many other states, too often a blind eye is cast to this, the only accountability being shown coming from the global public observing these incidents and condemning them on social media, all part of turning opinion against Israel and not without good reason. Now we know Israel have no intentions of stopping this, they are determined that what they are doing is right and just and they have every right to be doing it because Hamas, but they don’t, they’re in violation of resolutions and regulations they are signed up to, we know all of this by now, so what have they got left to swing public opinion? Cut off the journalists. DWP incompetence & lack of due diligence have left an unpaid carer robbed of their inheritance and this could happen to any of us. Right, so if you thought the DWP couldn’t stoop to even greater depths, this is certainly one of the most disgusting stories I’ve heard in ages as now being an unpaid carer apparently means you might not be allowed to inherit anything that might be willed to you. Imagine being an unpaid carer, in other words you’re not an employed or self employed carer running a business, you’ve simply given up work yourself to care for a loved one, who’s health has failed them and they need that additional support, it’s a position an awful lot of us will find ourselves in one day. The only support the government offers you in that position is carers allowance, which is a pittance, and the hours they are permitted to still work part time alongside those carers responsibilities are strictly limited, to less than 16 hours a week, along with the amount of money you are actually allowed to earn. Go one minute over, go one penny over, you lose the entire allowance. But that is how many carers are forced to top up their incomes to get by in a world only ever getting more expensive, so imagine your mother passing away and the DWP deciding that means you’ve gone over your income and savings limits and they decide to seize it. Well this is exactly what has just happened to one woman. Right, so when I saw this story this morning this hit particularly close to home. A woman in Cheshire has had her inheritance seized following the death of her mother by the DWP because she’d fallen afoul of their arbitrary unpaid carers limitations, earnings limits and all despite having arranged a repayment plan over this with the DWP, so they had no good reason to do such a thing especially given the tragic nature of the windfall here, it’s the ultimate Scrooge move by a government department which is already amongst the most publicly despised. This story resonated with me particularly since I’m also an unpaid carer, albeit one that has long since given up carers allowance, because this channel, those who kindly watch these videos, those who support the channel to keep doing so and make it a viable business, have enabled me to do that, but I’m still caring around this, just because I no longer accept the government insult they call support to help makes ends meet, doesn’t change that and with my mother also terminally right now, in the none too distant future I know I’ll be going through what this woman in Cheshire has been through, so this could easily be me, could easily be a large number of carers on carers allowance, simply because the people they care for, many of whom will be family with life limiting or terminal illnesses too, so is this the kind of swindle we’ll see from the DWP elsewhere? For those not familiar with Carer’s Allowance, allow me to briefly set out the rules of it, because it should appal you frankly. See if you can live and get by under these circumstances. We’re now entering the new tax year, so as of this year Carer’s Allowance will amount to £81.90 a week.
